We booked the master suite in December for 425 € per night and stayed there for three nights in February. Meanwhile the € dropped 1,4 %, but we finally paid 6,9% more, pure magic! When booking in local currency, the price should be indicated in local currency! Anyway, we found the place overprized. The master suite is interesting, spacious when including the patio, and full of interesting books. The wardrobe is smelly and very difficult to open. You enter the bedroom through a terribly illuminated bathroom, nearly stepping in the toilet. The drain in the shower did not work, after a short minute the shower flooded the bathroom – we wondered how they cleaned the shower. Without water? The fridge is noisy and its door sticks, you have to slam hard for closing. The breakfast boys are very nice. The receptionist less. We where not shown around, which did not bother me when arriving. But you can easily get lost between the different stairs and patios. Orientation is easiest from the rooftop. I left a headset, cable and charger in the bedroom. They did not write or call me. When I asked by email, they replied: “We actually did find them. How do you want them to be posted? Via Fedex or DHL or by post? We will ask about the prices and will let you know.” I then wrote: “there is no hurry with sending, and no need to send a particuraly insured small parcel. I am sure you will find an easy way to make the parcel part of your great and friendly service!” We paid a total amount of more than 1.400 € on a weekend (without restaurant) for a somehow rundown master suite, and I simply could not imagine they need to charge for sending me an envelope.
