Pros: The Chocolat room had a small open air room attached which was cool and it was pleasant to relax on the sofa there. The ceiling fan and the air-conditioner were useful for keeping the temperature in the room comfortable. The sunken bath tub was unusual but quite usable. The staff were more than willing to help you get to the Riad and to get the best out of your visit to Marrakech.
Cons: The room was fairly narrow. The breakfast was mainly breads, jam and cake. It was filling but it would have been nice to have something savoury such as an egg.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Asma is an excellent host, very kind and available to help and find right solution for several situation. the riad is a small jewel of comfort and tranquility, very beautiful and characteristic ....our stay has been fantastic! Delicious breakfast and dinner! Super recommended!

Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: First of all, the location is great! Upon our arrival we were welcomed greatly and were amazed with the beautiful riad. The inner patio and the roof terrace are amazing and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was a relief after having experienced some unhygienic conditions in Morocco. Karim (the manager) made us feel at home from the start and he gave us very helpful information about the city and the culture. The staff did everything possible to make the guests feel happy and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were also very delicious. I will not reveal too many details, so it will be a pleasant surprise once you're there :). Book it and you will not regret! Thanks Karim, Nadia and staff, that you have given us the best time possible in Marrakesh. Keep up the great job!
Cons: That we could not have stayed any longer :D
Excellent 10.0

Pros: Beautiful hotel and very nice staff.
Cons: Wasn’t very clean and a bit unorganized.

Pros: The poolside had amazing service! Complementary Ice cream & fruit that the wait staff brought around, complementary water with your own little esky, sunblock and books. All pool staff were amazing!
Cons: There was no dedicated ‘concierge’ desk. A young girl that they were training had been given the job to do this but could not answer anything! There were two senior staff women watching on without offering to come and help her or us with our enquires. Very unprofessional for this standard of hotel.

Pros: The hotel is comfortable with a lovely Moroccan vibe. It is a Small and intimate hotel with good service on arrival and throughout our 2 day stay. The food at the restaurant was tasty offering a good selection of local cuisine. The pool area is relaxing and the pool large enough for a refreshing swim. We enjoyed relaxing here after a few days in the chaos of the Médina and before our epic flight home. We would definitely stay here again after firstly experiencing a stay in the Médina.
Cons: There was a large corporate group visiting the restaurant during lunch while we were relaxing at the pool. We would recommend that more consideration is given to paying guests around the pool whilst the restaurant is busy with visitors. We had to ask several times for service eventually being served an hour and half after initially asking and only once all the visiting group left. We were disappointed that we as a paying guest didn’t receive any service around the pool and definitely feel that the hotel could improve in this area. Other than that we highly recommend this lovely small hotel with large and popular restaurant.
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 8.0
Pros: I felt like I was at home. The staff made us feel so welcomed.Nothing was too much for them everything we ask Ed for they tried their best to provide. The garden was beautiful. An oasis in the middle of desert! The Restaurant was better than any place we ate including the Al mansour! If I ever go back to Marrakech, I will stay at Dar Rhizlane again!
Cons: nothing major only our bathroom was very dark. We couldn’t apply makeup too well.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Great hotel in good location. Rooms need a little upgrade but generally very nice
Cons: Bathroom needs updating

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. I loved the lavish furniture and huge bed in our suite at Art Hotel Ryad. The restaurant overlooking the medina was a super place to spend the evening watching the crowds and performers.
Cons: Hivernage Secret Suites advised us 2 days before arrival that they had cancelled the non-refundable booking we made 2 months prior, due to technical problems. However they booked us into their other Riad Art Hotel which was the most divine place right by the souk - exotic, gorgeous decor, everything very high quality and quiet too. They also gave us a free transfer from our previous hotel in Hivernage suburb. So it all turned out perfectly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The garden, the room and the hotel itself are beautiful and the staff was very kind and helpful. They recommended us great restaurants and things to do in Marrakech. The area where the hotel is placed is a very tranquil one compared to the chaos in Marrakech, which sometimes is also nice.
Cons: Everything was great.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Well sign posted for taxi driver from airport. Warm welcome, gorgeous mint tea, helpful map & instructions for local sightseeing. Private walled garden & tranquil pool, decor & architecture of this place is very beautiful. Attentive but unobtrusive service. Happy to keep our luggage whilst we did a 2 day trip to Casablanca. Location wise, perfect for us, 15 mins walk to train station, 20 mins walk to Medina/souks, airport, 10 mins in taxi, advice on what to buy, how much to pay. Local Etiquette. We could not have wished for more.
Cons: Leaving..
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We had never been to Marrakech and had no real idea what to expect. Its important in an unfamiliar city to have a good base to stay. We could not have chosen better than this hotel. The staff were absolutely fantastic and the hotel delightful. We had been delayed and arrived 5 hours late at 10.30 pm, tired and a bit grumpy. When we arrived at the hotel we expected the usual half-hearted greeting from a night porter. How wrong we were! Ayoub opened the doorway (it is a secret garden after all) and invited us into a beautiful oasis of greenery and water. His friendliness was such a welcome relief and without any hesitation he suggested that we might need to eat. We were very grateful indeed but thought we might get a sandwich or salad. No such thing. A full menu was presented to us with a range of Morrocan and European dishes available. At this point appeared Nachat, a smiling, friendly hotel employee who appears to do anything and everything the guests require. Nothing is too much trouble. He dashed to the kitchen and within minutes appeared with a delicious meal. Both he and Ayoub were a great help on our arrival and during our stay. The other staff, too (Ab Del and another Ayoub) were equally charming. They did everything they could to make us feel at home. They all gave really helpful advice and tips about what to see, where to go and what to avoid. They all take pride in their work and the hotel owners should regard themselves as very fortunate to have such staff. The hotel itself is lovely. With only six rooms (all beautifully appointed) it has a genuine feeling of exclusivity without the arrogance of other major hotels. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean and had a suntrap balcony. Whilst the hotel does not serve alcohol for those that drink you can buy your own and take a drink in your room. The pool area and garden is a great place to relax. It is 15 minutes walk to both the old and new towns and 15 minutes from the airport. Perfect!
Cons: we liked everything
Good 7.5
Pros: Mr Nachat is awesome.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely boutique hotel in the quarter of Hivernage which is definitely a refugium from the busy life in the medina of Marrakech. The staff, especially Ayoub, is extremely helpful and giving you a lot of useful tips. I was upgraded to the executive suite, which apparently is the biggest one in the hotel. I especially loved the big private balcony.
Cons: Nothing bad to say
Excellent 9.6
Pros: -Best customer experience ever -Swimming pool -Location -Kind staff who accommodate with any needs -The rooms service quality is so high and decoration for honeymoon is excellent
Cons: -Price was a little high -Rooms need sound isolation
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is a very beautiful and peaceful Riad and all the workers are very generous and helpful. They are genuine, so you can accept all their recomendations! A very special thank you to Ayo, Abdul & Nachat

Excellent 10.0
Pros: everything was amazing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Riad Herougui is an absolutely beautiful and charming Riad in the heart of the Medina. Everything about our stay was exceptional, but the one thing that made our stay so special was the impeccable service and personalized attention we received from Ousama and Abdel. They went out of their way to make sure our experience in Marrakech was just perfect. We were a group of six, and all of us were overwhelmed by their hospitality and warmth.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful Riad right in the heart of the Medina, a real oasis! Staff are incredibly nice and helpful, you can also arrange a delicious dinner as well - really is a place you don't want to leave :)
Cons: Getting to the Riad by taxi was very difficult as the streets are very narrow so it's very limited to how far you can get, you need to walk by foot from where the taxi driver drops you off for about 5min and can be a bit challenging with all the luggage - so better do everything by foot and avoid taking luggage that has wheels. To get to the main medina square it's about 15min walk through all the busy roads, so wear comfy shoes!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Calm, quiet, peaceful with the hustle and bustle just outside the main door. The courtyard is nice and cool and extremely beautiful, feels very luxurious and very private as it only had a handful of rooms. We felt like we had our own villa as opposed to staying in a hotel. The downstairs bedroom is right outside the plunge pool, it has no aircon but is cool enough. All other rooms have aircon. For getting around by foot it's a great location, two minutes walk to the souks. The staff could not have been friendlier or helpful. The manager even printed our boarding passes at his home for us as you need paper boarding passes in Morroco.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The whole experience of this particular Riad was amazing, the hotel Manager spent exactly the right amount of time with us, the breakfast was perfect and exactly when we wanted it, the cleaner made up the room beautifully, the guard made me coffee's with an amazing smile.....all was perfect, the hotel Manager said to my daughter (age seven) that this is her palace while she stays in Marrakesh and it totally felt like it, i could not recommend this Riad enough.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Myself and few friends stayed in the Riad and it was an unforgettable experience. Riad Herougui is like an oasis of calmness in the middle of the busy life of Medina. The breakfast on the rooftop with it's beautiful views was delightful!! We 've been lucky to have had only sunny days while we were there and enjoyed every single minute of it!! The hosts Oussama and Abdul were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the whole place, they gave us great advice on restaurants and places to visit, palaces, markets, shops... For us, as a group, it was a great experience. We cannot recommend Riad Herougui more to stay and relax in Marrakesh. We are looking forward to coming back! Thank you for an unforgettable stay and unforgettable city experience!!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The Riad is amazing! Would definitely recommend renting the whole place. Oussama and Beija made our stay perfect. They were always available when we needed something but at the same time gave us our privacy. The breakfast was prepared with love and everything tasted amazing. Oussama manages the riad really well. Would stay here again.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Liked everything
Good 7.1
Pros: Good location if you want to be close to the trainstation or AirPort. Worn rooms but acceptable.
Cons: The worst sound soundproofing ever, every footstep and sneeze in both rooms and corridors was heard. Expensive AirPort transfer (200 dhm). Acceptable but disorganized breakfast.
Good 7.9
Pros: Locations
Good 7.9
Pros: Location
Cons: Couches for 3rd and 4th person in junior suite rather than beds, not made up, no proper pillows or blankets, only sheets. Broken rubbish bin, nothing in kitchen (no cups, cutlery etc)
Good 7.5
Pros: Everything was good except for the first communication, they did not answer my email requesting a airport shuttle. I had to contact another email and the price for the airport shuttle was different more than they said in the email. They said it was 9€ in email and then charged me 15€.

Pros: Good pool and gym facilities
Cons: The reception staff were not responsive to our complaint with dirt on the carpet in our hotel room. It took 4 times, with manager involvement to change rooms at a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was it’s calmest on our last day. Not enough staff for the amount of guests.
Good 7.1
Pros: Pool side
Cons: Room was very small 1 little balcony door NO view Food expensiv3
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, tidy, great staff, Ibrahim really looked after us when we had breakfast
Good 6.7
Pros: The peaceful and beautiful environment. The staff at the Saray restaurant are very accommodating and helpful; great customer service.
Cons: I am totally disappointed of the washroom. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, it is in a tight space and is outdated. Staff at the reception needed to enhance customer service skills.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Service
Cons: The staff was amazing from the valley till the housekeeping the hotel was so busy but the services was wonderful Like the hotel policy they are flexible u can feel that the importance is to do not bother the guest O forget my bagg with my passport money I cameback to the hotel I found it in the consierge thanks to them I live the experience and I'm coming back next month inchalah to Marrakech and movenpick
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I liked everything in the hotel ♥️it’s not my first time to stay there and it’s definitely my fav spot to go everytime I visit Marrakech isa
Okay 5.4
Pros: Our complaint on site was handled directly. The very friendly F&B manager of the hotel took time for us and we ended up with -50% on a night's sleep, which was very generous.
Cons: This hotel is a sheer disappointment – right from the start! The reception is overwhelmed with the visitors - there is no friendliness, but there are waiting times at the check-in (about 20 minutes). Many employees just walked past us or played in the next room or directly in front of us with their cell phones, instead of helping us with the check-in. There is no own luggage room; the luggage is stored in a kind of second reception without supervision. Here we were able to serve unsolicited at any time. When we finally got to our room (an early check-in was not possible), our room was not ready! We had no towels, no bottled water and an extra rollaway bed in the room (which was removed after 5 hours and many calls to the customer service). Generally the room was quite dirty (see the photo attached: the toilet) and the reception was never reachable by phone. Disenchanted with so many bad impressions on the first day we were looking forward to the breakfast, which is a pure mass processing. Quantity instead of quality is the motto here. Our highlights: the dishes were dirty & sticky, empty decanters everywhere, long lines at the egg station and pure chaos! Our second night was clouded by a private event: 2 pools were closed all day long (so all the other pools were heavily overcrowded) and at night, music was played until 00:30 (super loud & with a strong bass) so that we could not fall asleep (our balcony was just above the party). Supposedly, such private events are held here very often. For the proud price we are very disappointed from this hotel and would not visit again. Every Riad & Refuge was nicer during our Morocco stay!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had an amazing stay at movenpick, staff are very friendly, the pool is great. Rooms are spacious with cute balconies. We also loved the breakfast buffet. I would definitely come back!!

Pros: Good location away from the hustle and bustle, nice facilities and friendly staff
Cons: Check in is really slow and a bit chaotic, so just be prepared to wait a little here but thereafter its all good
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is situated in a very comfortable place. You can walk on foot to the old town, it will take round 25 minutes. You can also go by taxi , that will cost, during the day approximately 5 EUR or 6-7 EUR during the night time. So at the same time you are not far from the center and a little bit away from the crowds of the people. The stuff of the hotel is very helpfull, especially concierge will give you all the necessary information about the sight seeing places, restaurants and other things. The swimming pool was great, the breakfast very good.
Cons: The prices in the hotel restaurants and bars are a little bit overpriced.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: Noisy neighbors
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This hotel is luxurious, the room was spacious clean and comfortable. Toilet and shower were spacious and luxurious. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was one of a kind, many varieties and delicious things were available. The hote has several swimming pools including one huge indoor. Large gem lounge was also available.
Cons: Noise can be heard from next room, walls need more insulation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rates of food
Cons: Keeping advance payment

Pros: Excellent hotel with great customer service from all members off staff. The only place I stay when I visit Marrakech. I thought the spa facilities were first-rate. Would like to give a special thanks to Murad and Mahdi who went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: - hotel facilities (room, pool etc) - the staff are very friendly (Jamal at concierge, Mustapha at breakfast and almost all of the staff) - the breakfast - location near of restaurants and mall
Cons: I have problem in credit card transaction when paying the hotel. The bank send me text that transaction is success while the hotel said that the transaction was failed. For this I have to do transaction 2 times. When this review was wrote still no clear clarification from both
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The room is perfect. Bath room perfrct The swimming pool area is the best Location perfect The best morning meal i had in marrakesh
Cons: The pool water is too cold.... The prices in the pool restaurant is a bit high (Shisha is 30 €!, Cola 5€(
Excellent 9.2
Pros: We really liked the room which had a patio with a nice garden view. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The location was great as it was right next to the Menara mall which lots of food options, however you do need to get a taxi to get to the centre. The communal pool was massive and there weren't a lot of guests during our stay, so there was a lot of space in the pool area which we didn't expect. The WiFi connection was also great and fast. It was my birthday as well and the housekeeping staff made up our room and decorated the bed with 'Happy Birthday' pillows & sheets and rose petals, which we really appreciated.
Cons: We weren't too keen on the breakfast as we expected more options considering it's a five-star resort. Dinner options are also limited as the resort is a taxi ride away from the centre, so your only cheap food options are at the food court (top floor) in the Menara mall. They also don't allow food to be brought into the resort from outside (except for water or light snacks).
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great experience
Cons: Waiting time to get attended

Pros: Not the best and not the worst. This place has definitely seen better days but is comfortable although for morocco it’s a little bit expensive for some of the lack of organization at check in, the dated furniture and just general revamping this place needs. On the flip side, beautiful grounds, honest housekeeping that found a fair amount of money in my dry cleaning and returned it! Friendly staff although check in and check out while not a nightmare was not well organized. Room service and pool food was way below average. Generally good but far from amazing and left a lot to be desired.
Good 7.0
Pros: Breakfast was good. Large room size.
Cons: Pricey average hotel. Bathroom not very clean.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice staff and lovely location
Cons: Old building . Rooms need completely renovation but it's okay
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Every thing I liked every person I met working for this hotel even the security men were lovely . Meridian N'fis should be very proud of their staff
Cons: The only fault I had was the price of alcohol. I like to enjoy a few cocktails around the pool but at 10euro a pop it would make your holiday quiet expensive but in saying that the one bar we found was same
Good 6.3
Pros: Location is perfect Swimming pool and garden Room access and hotel layout. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Cons: Furniture out dated Lobby needs an upgrade Bar and restaurant need an upgrade Breakfast choices are very limited
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Reception staff were great especially Hatim and Imad
Good 6.3
Pros: A bit dated. I badin did not hold water so hard to wet shave Paintwork was old white gloss and furniture re-varnished ad infinitum
Cons: Staff at Reception very short and often impatient and moody. Restaurant and pool staff lovely though. Brilliant gardens and pool. 2 free cocktail and food nights which saved us eating out, and we fantastic musicians on those 2 nights Computer kept breaking down in Reception so delays checking in and out
Good 7.9
Pros: Staying for shortwhile but very please with the treatment

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Great place, good breakfast & friendly stuff...
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff especially guest service
Excellent 10.0
Pros: good location. nice room
Good 7.1
Pros: The hotel is right opposite the Royal theatre and is big. We had a very good view of it.. The location is not bad though it is a bit of distance if we want to walk to the old town (Medina). I am glad I did not choose hotel in the old town.
Cons: The breakfast in restaurant was fine. However, the dinner menu was so limited and the evening buffet looks sub-standard. The towels in the room were not supplied in a timely manner.
Good 7.5
Pros: Was very good
Okay 5.8
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: The air-conditionet in the room was too loud that I couldn't sleep
Excellent 8.3
Pros: I was very happy with the service, and also the fact that it was walking distance of 3 minutes to the train and bus stations
Good 7.1
Pros: It is 3 minute walk from train station and only 6 min walk to CTM bus station. We used it as a stop over after our train trip as the connecting bus didn't depart until the following morning. It was easy and very convenient. Staff friendly.
Cons: Couldn't book a room to accommodate a family of 4 so had to book 2 separate rooms.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Pool, good breakfast, centrally located in New Town, close to shops, and also not too far from Medina.
Okay 4.8
Pros: People are friendly but the management is terrible!
Cons: When I checked in it was several items missing, or not working in the room starting from missing light,tv has 3 local Chanels the rest of Chanel's no signal,& heat,( set as AC) only,to the hot water in the shower on & off beside a broken fridge that takes them three days to be fixed! The only reason why I stayed is I was not staying I used the room just to sleep!!! The day I checked in was at 1am! Which is Tuesday, since then I usually stay from 1 to 9 or 10 am & I leave!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Confortable bed, friendly staff. Good location: 3min waking from the train station and 20min to Medina.
Good 6.3
Pros: the location is great but that's more or less about +
Cons: no friendly welcome, no towels, after asking 3 times and send from maid to receiption and back to maid I got them, quite dirty filthy, the noise from other rooms was much too much and the bathroom was - sorry to say that - dirty. Mould all around the bathtub. An absolute no-go. PLEASE CLEAN UP!

Pros: Staff were amazing and helpful
Cons: Nice traditional, great breakfast area love the vintage setting.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Absolutely nothing it was terrible, they had me waiting over 2 hours for my room to be ready, had to wait over an hour to recieve a towel before i could use the swimming pool. worst stay ever
Cons: everything it was vile and very deceiving from the pictures on the website i think you need to rethink what hotels are sending you what pictures
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Our time in this hotel was good, Breakfast was nice good variety. Staff are kind to you and they also have spa and traditional hammam, which we tried and we enjoyed a lot. The price is good, same like everywhere else. However We weren’t happy with the internet WiFi as it was poor, like coming there from Europe WiFi is very helpful. But reception said sorry they could not use internet either. They tidy the room everyday but don’t clean the bathroom ( sink and bin to empty) and we had to ask for towels.but when you ask they straight away give you what you need. Also they allowed us to print our plan ticket. Other thing is try to get your own taxi from the airport or to the airport. Reception give you more than a double price for it. However on the street is a question how much you wanna pay for it:) the airport is very close!!! Overall I would still recommend this place as these are not a big problems.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Beautiful property at a great price. Four of us stayed in the royal suite which was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable.
Cons: The gentleman who checked us in was a little bit rude, but the rest of our experience with other staff was very good.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very pleasant staff
Cons: Breakfast not that good
Good 7.1
Pros: location and confort for the price i paid
Cons: check in in a room with 2 seperate beds and no possibility to exchange it breakfast was one of the most horrible i get in the hotels, waiting for the cups for 10min, ordered some eggs (because who the hell is eating couscous in the morning, yeah it was the left over from friday afternoon couscous...) which never come (ended up going outside to eat).
Good 7.5
Pros: The location was and friendly staffs
Cons: The lightning in the rooms too deemed

Okay 4.6
Pros: Avoid this hotel. There is a lot of work being done and a tremendous amount of noise throughout the hotel. At night, there is a really loud nightclub next door which goes on until 5am. Very hard to rest at this hotel. The breakfast was good. The pool is nice, but the hotel insists on blaring out terrible music all day. The key cards for the doors don't seem to work, one day I had to change my card six times.
Good 7.5
Pros: Location , breakfast, swimming-pool
Cons: Furniture very old ,, hotel need renovation
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Lobby decoration only
Cons: There old, dirty and pure rooms and halls. The towels are grey, it was white 10 years ago. All furniture in rooms are too old. Never visit hotel in future and never recommend it
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location
Cons: Wi-Fi was extremely slow
Okay 4.6
Pros: It offers a nice swimming pool and varied breakfast. Even though the first day I had breakfast there I got sick....
Cons: Very badly maintained building. Cracks everywhere and dirty spots here and there. We were moved after a long talk to the reception as there were some works near our room and noise was extremely loud. They then moved us to the first floor were balcony was very very dirty and the terrace chairs, even if originally white, were completely grey and broken. Toilet was leaking water and flushing on and off. This hotel is far from 5*, it sold as exclusive and it lacks the basics to be considered an average one.
Good 6.3
Pros: Nice pool.
Cons: The staff was very unhelpful and we regularly had to wait, despite being told otherwise. Many of the staff didn’t speak English, including the telephone operators. When trying to get collected from the airport they hung up on us numerous times.
Mediocre 3.3
Pros: The pool had water and that’s about it
Cons: Location and price was pretty poor. Service was even worse. Room was well under equipped and not fit for people people. Food was sub par at the best of times. A breakfast that was meant to arrive for us before our flight home never showed up. A lift broke while we were in it. Genuinely the worst stay in a hotel I’ve ever experienced. Only thing that was on time was the taxi to the airport which again was extortionate
Good 6.3
Pros: Very nice breakfast
Cons: Terrible wifi, no internet in the room with impossibilitates one from talking to family
