The location is terrific with everything you want to see in Merano a short (1-2km) walk away. The desk staff guided us to plentiful free parking 1 block from the hotel. The staff in every area, desk, kitchen and housekeeping, were excellent and always pleased to help with any requests.
The Bellevue was a grand hotel, but somewhat tired now. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but lacking in common amenities such as convenient bedside electrical outlets for recharging our devices. Also, wi-fi was weak except in the lobby, but that was not convenient for working.

This hotel is really old fashioned and feels lifeless despite the friendly staff. It always felt as though we were the only ones staying there (only at breakfast there was some life).
