Exceptional management, kitchen and waiters. The front desk staff resolved an issue I had with booking.com and were very helpful in providing recommendations on places to visit. Gabriele, Nicole and Cinzia were very helpful. The dinner meals varied each day and the buffet provided alot of variety to include vegetables, meat and fish. The staff was polite and quick in serving, and all were there to help make our stay a good leisurely experience.. The pool was great including the jacuzzi and saunas. Having the train station behind the hotel, (1 minute away)was a delight and gave us extra opportunities to travel the Val di Sole and to the city of Trento free by the Trentino Card.
We didn't realize it at first, but this is more of a family hotel (which is good), except that with many small children, many parents did not perform their roles as parents, but leave their children with entertainment staff. Since I like to go bed early, on two nights the music played outdoors was very loud until 2230. I called the front desk at 2130 to request they minimize the noise, but not much happened. I realize the staff had to entertain the kids and parents, but with the hot weather and no air conditioning in the room, we had to leave the door/window open to allow in cool air. Recommend some a/c be installed for futue hot summers. I also hope the Marileva 900 cable car will function next year so as to make the ascent to Marileva 1400 site easier. (The hotel has no control over this site or equipment).
Very good breakfast with a variety of Italian cheese and ham. Enough for everyone. Very comfortable room, nice bar. Best thing is the location with the Ski lift right across the street. Pool and wellness area comfortable and clean.
TV HDMI access was locked and could not be unlocked, even though requested twice. The pool should not be accessed by children below 12 y/o, which was not followed (probably due to a large group of parents with children in the Hotel). I don't think this is ok for anyone who chose to stay there, hoping to have a relaxing afternoon at the pool, rather than screaming kids, jumping over your head.
Unique design and very comfortable. Lovely lounge, bar and high variety for food
no aircondition. In winter is not important, but in August it was very warm.
The locations of the hotel is wonderful. Close to the cable lift and with easy access to tons of activities for all ages. The spa was a really good surprise. the hotel punches above his weight (and price)
The hotel exterior does not match the interior of the hotel...at first we thought we were in the wrong hotel as we only saw the interior pictures when booked.
When you stay at Hotel Sporting Ravelli in Mezzana, you'll be near ski lifts, just steps from Sole Valley and Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
