don't reserve with them, they did many mistakes about taking money from my bank account, and the luxury way of showing the people pictures on the website is totally different then the reality. I poorly recommended. many other hotels are better than this hotel.
Not great
Never even stayed here. Got a call the day of check in saying that I couldn't be stay there because of "urgent maintenance."
Never even stayed here. Got a call the day of check in saying that I couldn't be stay there because of "urgent maintenance." Even before this I saw many reviews saying how dirty & nasty this place was. False advertising on the 3rd party site I ordered from
Think twice before booking here
The location is good if you want to be in South Beach and do not care about anything else.
Rooms are too small, very old motel. You can't control the a/c the rooms are freezing and you hear the constant air rattling through the one vent super loud. Small noisy beads. You literally have thin walls and hear all of the noise happening next door and outside. Zero customer service, checked in for 6 nights but checked out after one night. They don't refund any of your money.
Close to everything.
Carl the cockroach snuck into our room far to often!
great location and amazing front desk staff
The location right on ocean drive across from the beach! The front desk staff was amazing and made the stay comfortable.
Hotel can use some . updating otherwise it would be amazing
Worst experience
Location
Everything else
From MA
Great location, couldn't have been better. Minute walk to the beach right across the street and right on the main Ocean Drive with all the restaurants and bars. Colonial Ave a street over and has all the shops, a good mixture of high end and affordable. There was a Walgreens a block away and at least two liquor stores in a block radius. One almost right outside our window. The hotel has an old school feel which was nostalgic, but also been renovated to add a new chic feel. I loved the old school elevator, although just taking the two flights of stairs was easier. Very friendly to offer the daily coupons for $4.00 off breakfast, lunch, and dinner to the little shop in the entrance. The mini fridge was a plus.
You can't control the AC or heat. The first night it was blasting full force and we were freezing, even being from MA haha. I had to close the vent. Towards the end of the week it seemed the AC was turned down a bit. The outer coating of the shower was chipping off. Just minor face-lift stuff. My girlfriend and I live out of our suitcases, so having no bureaus wasn't a big deal. But maybe having something small to put some stuff away in would be nice.
across from the beach
Location was awesome
Kinda outdated
Location
Noise in hotel Bed was very uncomfortable No air conditioning Walls are paper thin Windows don't open
Location was great. Front desk very friendly and helpful.Housekeeping needs training and i think it should start with management. I am not one to complain but the floor should be swept and moped daily. Felt the floor dirty and with sand . For 3 days straight i purposely left 3 beer caps that accidently fell to the floor by the door that was never swept up. ..... And the food area needs to serve something of better quality though i was given food vouchers found that the food was not worth 1 penny of the value they sell for . A bag with a croissant in it and an egg that is cooked in a microwave that becones hard when removed out the microwace and a cup of coffee and 3 small cold pancakes not worth $8.95 plus 9% tax and another 18% tip after the $4.00 food voucher still paid about $12.50 for a breakfast i had to throw away. I would've really enjoyed a Mcdonald breakfast. On the other hand the beds need to be changed not confortable at all makes to much noise and was afraid it would break. Other than that i found my stay to be ok.nothing to brag about. Love the location but honestly do not see anything of a paradise . Sorry
It's on ocean Blvd which is the best place to stay as a tourist
The staff has a medeocure customer service skills . Not very friendly, but You get what you pay for
No air conditioning regulation in rooms it was lik
The staff was kind and brought me an extra blanket . Taped the vent and showed me other rooms which stank of cigarettes but u can't open them to air out. They couldn't regulate the temperature since it was locked and they didn't have the key??? Friendly staff however incompetent hotel management. They do offer to carry up your bags but don't inform you of how long the elevator will be out of service.
The air conditioning had no regulation in rooms ! It was freezing even after closing the vents the air still leaked out! The staff assisted in taping up the vent and I slept in a puffer winter coat. I flimsy throw as z blanket however they did give me ore flimsy blankets . All the windows are sealed shit so you can't wa the freezing temp! It was colder than nyc in December! The hot water indicators were backwards but there was hot watery just need to ask how to operate the faucet. Everything is on the opposite side. The password for the Internet which was suppose to work for 3- 7 days worked for one day!!! The hallways were freezing. The neighbor was costed by police because the 2peostitures robbed him. The noise from the garbage trucks every morning at 5am. Then as I checked out they asked for 1 dollar which was buzzard after the terrible accommodations! The tv reception wax awful. No refunds elevator was broken had to carry luggage up a lot of stairs
Room was clean and hygienic, location was excellent, right on the beach. Room was cleaned nicely every day
Staff was not very helpful, often had to wait long at the desk before someone showed up. Elevator was old and did not work the last day, which meant I had to carry luggage down the stairs
It's location is great--- across from the beach & close to a ton of restaurants, bars and shops. The bed was also very comfortable (definitely felt like it had a pillowtop mattress). The staff were friendly and professional.
The bedding was not clean (my pillow cases smelled like feet). The hotel advised that it only had one face cloth (so I got it and my travel companion did without, both nights); neither of us got handtowels. The elevator has serious problems. We did not have hot water in the shower when we arrived.
Good location. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds.
AC very loud in room, which was not the case in all the rooms we had.
Location
not as clean
The location and proximity to the beach.
No hanging sapce for clothes, no desk for writing at, TV located at right angles to the bed, tiled corridors meant that sleeping is difficult with clientile running up and down throughout the evening/early hours of the morning, sound proofing was inadaquete between rooms.
