Pros (+) The location and layout of the pool bar was nice. The Service at the Essex house was very good. Staff was nice, place was clean. Rooms are small but we expected this in the Art Deco area. We loved that they preserved the integrity of the old architecture. Good night life in Miami Beach, and good restaurants.
Cons (-) Well we had booked the Clevelander on-line and did not know that you had to be 21 and older to step into their facilities, we found out through a friend. Thank God we were able to change our reservation to the sister property The Essex House, they sold it to us by telling us that we would have access to the Clevelander!! NOT!
