I left my son’s shoes at the one of restaurants. It seemed like they did not care because they were busy and were making too much money. They thought it was not worth to spend time to find the lost item. Other than that, it was great.
Seems overrated. Hot tub was broken, we got locked out of our room before checkout. Way too many kids and teens at this resort. However the facility was clean and well kept and had a variety of restaurants.
This hotel became a zoo and this is reflected all along the way of our stay from check in to the elevators to the pool, The check -in lines ( 30 -45 minutes) with 2 people at the service desk. Too many people at the elevators waiting up to 25 minutes for an elevator ( many people went to take the stairs from the 10th floor), The staff with their carts using the guest elevators which increased the load and the wait. The pool - many staff guys but mostly entertaining themselves, gathering together and not attending to the guests, I tried to get their attention to help but they do not even look at the guests calling them. As a guest I found myself in a constant competition and "fighting" for chairs and umbrellas, myself, because the pool attendant did not really care, truly unbelievable. This is very sad because this used to be our most favorite hotel to come and visit. Swimming at the pool - entangled with hair between my fingers, plastic containers at the bottom of the pool -simply dirty. Smoking - I understand that when you are outside you can smoke but why sitting on the pool and all that surround you are smoker - why not making designated areas for smokers vs non smokers ? and be considerate with the non smoker guests. Although we had the do not disturb sign on the door, it did not bother the cleaning staff and their supervisor to open the door without even knocking on the door - yes they apologized but why doing it ? In summary, this used to be the most exciting resort to come to for our yearly vacation and it became a very low level below the acceptable standards place for us. Sorry and thank you.
I was beyond excited for my 5 star hotel stay. From the moment we went in the customer service was bad but we didn’t pay much attention. We went to the pool and got beach chairs (which was a hassle due to the crazy amount of people there) we got inside the pool, came back around 20 minutes later we saw our chairs being taken away while the pool guy was getting money from other guests, we told him that’s our chairs but that wasn’t enough as he said he would accommodate us somewhere else, not sure why accommodate us instead of accommodating those that he was giving our chairs to. Tip is already included in the restaurants reason why they don’t go above and beyond for the client, the attitude and customer service is horrible. Very disappointed with the room. It was not a 5 star like mentioned on their page false advertisement from their pictures.
Not very clean! I found hairs in my shower after two days was cleaned. They charge you for umbrellas…. Overrated!
Pros. There was something always going on
Cons. Everything is charged at a premium
Pros. The lobby and pool area were excellent. But the room cleanliness was not to the price. Calling their housekeeping, concierge or front desk was no answer. Then 30mns to get your car out at valet
Pros. Pool
Cons. Customer service
Pros. I bit noisy at times but overall it was a great place to stay.
Cons. Parking is very expensive.
Pros. Overall, the hotel was good however there was a defective TV in her bathroom that would turn on several times in the middle of the night. They were also dead spiders on the ceiling in the bathroom that we complained about that were not cleaned off before or after we complained about it first morning.
Cons. Malfunctioning bathroom tv kept us up for 2 nights. I reported it to maintenance twice but nobody fixed it. Overall, the hotel was good however there was a defective TV in the bathroom that would turn on severally times in the middle of the night. They were also dead spiders on the ceiling in the bathroom that we complained about that were not cleaned off before or after we complained about it first and again in the evening. We’ve been to the fountainblue many times in the past and this visit was not up to your normally high standards. Sincerely, Ed Kresch
