We had a room with balcony overlooking the town & mountains. It was lovely! This hotel is immaculate & everything has been thought of - except tea or coffee facilities. It must be a mainland Europe thing that this is hardly ever provided. The Wellness centre has wonderful facilities & a massage was asked for, at short notice - & received for 30E - which was a welcome treat & very reasonable. There is a fabulous 'freebie' - which we will let you discover for yourselves. It was assumed we were to have dinner so a table had been set for us. We were a little put out that there is no choice (aside from a vegetarian option) & we had no idea of the cost either. However, it was a 4 course meal that started with a salad from the buffet and, my! What a selection! Smoked salmon, poached, salmon, king prawns, meats etc, etc, truly first class. There was soup next, but you could return for more salad if you wished. Followed by steak or vegetable pasties & dessert. This restaurant has it's own sommelier so, just asking for a glass of wine will get you a strange look! What kind, how smooth or dry? Our sommelier bought me 2 to try & I opted for the sweeter of the 2 offerings. It turns out all this luxury is had for 26E! Best bargain of our travels by far & an excellent event. All the staff are highly professional, warm & friendly. Our evening was spent on the patio, marvelling at the most stunning display on the mountains. It was a Saints day & the surrounding mountains were lit at dusk with beacons as far as the eye could see - it was an amazing spectacle & we were privileged to have witnessed it.
All was fabulous & money well spent
very clean everywhere great food, good choice, very friendly and helpful personnel table tennis, Wii, kicker table, different newspapers half board included also light lunch from buffet (2-3 simple choices, mainly pasta) and soup as well as high tea with some cake and again warm food (sausages, scrambled eggs, salade, …) guided skiing tours, also for downhill skiing in different areas (Hotel own transfer included)
We were accommodated in one of the older rooms which has not yet been refurbished. Restaurant also could do with some freshing up.
Every meal was very good. Nice hotel. Only wifi was payed. The staff was very kind especialy thank to Tereza and Thomas :-) Good place not far from Stubai.
The door from WC - why from glass? :-( Wifi was not free, but payed.
Excellent breakfast although no vegan options (no dairy free milk or yogurt). Fantastic pool area and games room. Comfortable lounge area near restaurant.
Dinner options in the hotel for vegetarians are limited and it is hard to find restaurants nearby. There was a large group who were unpleasantly noisy. Other guests had to sit right near the group even though there were two separate breakfast rooms.
Excelent local foodstuffs (especially youghurt...)))))
