A very nice place for the money on our drive home
The hotel had the layout of an upscale hotel with a large lobby and eating facilities without the expense of an upscale hotel.
Would have been nice to have a Jacuzzi..

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful even at very late hours of the night. Staff members in other parts of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. One member helped my fiancé and I get into the gym when our key didn't seem to work.
Some members of the staff did a poor job at maintaining eye contact with us when answering questions. This can be a major issue, as my fiancé felt that the member was not paying attention to her or was distracted from their conversation. This is picky but is the difference between being helpful and highly professional.
We were there two nights and they couldn't get the TV to work at all and never offered another room to us so we could watch TV. It was like we bothered the front desk when we kept telling them the TV wasn't fixed. No effort on their part and we usually go there 3 times a year but will not again. Never mind the 11:30pm fire alarm because the kitchen burnt food to a crisp. Lobby was filled with smoke....
We stay at a variety hotels in this chain across the northeast. This was a good location outside of NY on the way to Boston
We didn't receive the room that we paid for and reserved. I was traveling with two of my children and we all slept in one bed in a smokers room. We all didn't sleep well, ended up with sore throats, headaches and our clothes smelling of smoke the rest of the next day as we continued our trip. The hotel was contacted numerous times, said that they would respond and we have not heard back. Super disappointing for this property. It doesn't reflect the chain, it's really a problem with this property.
