8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and great location. I recommend going during the spring or summer though, as much of the Amalfi Coast is closed down during the winter months. The town of Minori is charming and the people wonderful.
Cons: I was expecting a restaurant at the hotel, but it only seemed available for breakfast which was prix fix for €10. I really only wanted coffee at breakfast or in the afternoon, but didn't want to go into town. Maybe it was just the communication. Other than that it was a good place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly. The room was clean and spacious with a great view. Good value for money.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good value, good location, spacious rooms, well appointed bathrooms
Cons: The older lady was very rude, snapping back if you had a simple request. The big dog scratching in the sitting room was a little off putting. Rooms very noisy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very central
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Personnel was awful , she was always yelling. Although she has a park area she didn't allow as to parking and if we parked , we couldn't move our car until we check-out she said. Rooms were very dirty and beds were very uncomfortable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved that it is a family run hotel and very authentically Italian. For a very reasonable price you even get breakfast and toiletries. Location is excellent. Minori is a lovely town to stay in, with buses and ferries to everywhere. Will definitely stay here again!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, nice balcony, comfy bed, location near the center, helpful staff
Cons: Very few salty options for breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It matches the descriptions and photos so you know what to expect!
Cons: The bathroom was a bit small but it was okay
4.8 Okay
Pros: Location is great, breakfast is good, great balcony.
Cons: Parking space is too small, you have to leave the keys of your car to hotel receptionist and they will keep it and move your car around as needed to make space for other cars, if your car is the last one in the parking you cannot reach it because there are others cars you will have to step over them to reach yours, so you better don't forget anything in the car. At check out we had to wait 15 min until the hotel staff moved all cars to get our out of the parking. hotel staff is not friendly, small room, old building.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, with good amenities, good breakfast, very friendly staff. The hotel is very near to the bus stop and tabacchi shop (where you buy bus tickets) and very near to the beach and city center. It was a good hosting, and so I recommend.
Cons: The price is a little high for the city and service, but still worth it.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was superb, really close to the beach. Minori is a nice small village with a great atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and the valet parking was perfectly arranged.
Cons: The balcony had no view (only walls). The bedroom was small and the shower was terrible, the water was either too hot or too cold and that changed automatically.

Pros: good variety for breakfasts choice and you dine alfresco and watch Minori go by.
Cons: nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, the place is very comfortable.
Cons: The WiFi connection was poor. Almost all was restricted, if you go to work, you need to check that. It was very annoying to access some bank pages and regular cloud services that were blocked by the proxy.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: View, terrace was perfect!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great bathroom , breakfast and really clean .Location is perfect. Need to be quick with parking .
Cons: Too many stairs for me .
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view! I looked right out at the ocean, beach, ferry dock, and enjoyed every day a gorgeous sun rise / sunset. So lovely.
Cons: Well, at first, I was taken back on the entrance from the ground level. It’s easy to miss the hotel sign and arrow to the stairs you must take to begin the climb. 98 steps. The first section is thru an old stone path and stair way. It’s very dark and rough ground. You figure it out. Then you come to regular stairs. You go thru a security gate and then you know you’re at the hotel. Beautiful ceramic stairs about 60 more to climb to the reception area. You get use to it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So far one of the best accommodation experiences in Italy. Such a great value for the money! I didn’t expect our bed linens to be changed every day. We never had to remind the staff to change our wet towels. The place is better than in pictures, very clean and cozy. The steps are okay. Even though there are two ways to enter - via the road or using the stairs - we always opted for the latter. No gym needed. Typical Italian breakfast was rather simple, yet delicious. If I ever come back to Minori - would stay here again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location at the seaside! We had a room with balcony and view at the sea, very nice! Very friendly and helpfull people and the breakfast was also nice, all kind of different choises! We had a very pleasant stay!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Value for money!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s was close to train station and in the city. Also, it was clean.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location with very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast, simple but thoughtful, with a nice coffee made for you as you arrive. Property is clean and properly maintained. Minori is a beautiful town with a nice beach very close to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel owner is really welcoming, warm and helpful; he gave me lots of nice tips to make the most of my stay. The accommodation is good value for money, considering the average room rate on the Amalfi coast. The room was quite spacious and it had all the basic facilities one would need during a short stay. The location is convenient, very close to Minori beach, the bus stop and the town centre. Breakfast, albeit not always super fresh, was very generous with plenty of choice. Wifi worked well.
Cons: The hotel is quite dated and therefore the facilities are not top-notch. It is worth mentioning that some rooms might be quite noisy (such as those facing the street) and that it is also non-accessible, as most old buildings it doesn't have a lift.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel location was great and also we liked their arrangement about parking. (but we guess their parking place was not close, so it is okay if you won’t need your car during the stay.)
Cons: You should give the keys to the reception every time. The rooms are damp, air quality is not good but if you won’t spend much time in the hotel surely it is not a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was just perfect! The hotel is only a matter of steps away from the bus stop, harbour, beach, shops and restaurants. Our hotel room was perfectly adequate with a tv, hair dryer, etc. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even helping organise a bus transfer directly back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a family run business, and the attention to all details of your stay are looked after by the staff. we needed abottle of wine late at night, after a wedding rehearsal, and the owner took care of us. We needed directions to the pre-wedding dinner, and the owner and his wife actually walked us to our destination, several blocks away.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most beautiful B&B so far. The hospitality of the host Salvarore and his wife Gabriella, and don’t forget Fiocco the dog. The breakfast under the lemontrees is splendid. Thanks to the travel advice of the host we don’t need our car to visit the amalficoast. Grazi mille Jan en Alice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely fantastic! Everything about it was just perfect. 1. Location: a) The town: Minori is close to all other towns of the coast, yet it is quiet and away from the crowds. It’s very cozy, authentic, beautiful, and the biggest advantage is that you don’t have to wait in long queues to take the ferry! No matter where you are on the coast, you have to take a ferry anyways... so you might as well stay in Minori! Also since it’s less “touristic”, the prices are more affordable. b) La Zagara: Though it seems a bit far on the hill, don’t be discouraged: you need only 5 to 10 mn (max) by stairs to reach it. It’s so peaceful, beautiful and calm, and I personally really enjoyed the walk! We consider ourselves lucky to have picked this ideal location! The price is also very fair, specially compared to others. 2. Hospitality: One of the best parts of staying at “La Zagara” is the kindness, warmth and hospitality of Salvatore and his family. You truly feel part of the house. Salvatore was so kind to pick us up from the bus stop when we arrived, and drop us at the port when we left. Every morning, he asks us what we want for breakfast, and he gave us the best advice on where to go. Salvatore is very cultured and knowledgeable and gave us so much information on the history of the region. They also invited us to a dinner they had hosted! Feeling part of the family really made this place feel like home. 3. The room: The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The rooms are cleaned daily. The bathrooms are large and comfortable. PS: the place looks much prettier than the pictures! You will be pleasantly surprised! To sum it up: - An incredible location - A fantastic hospitality - An unforgettable stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful. Loved Fioco the dog
Cons: All the steps back home to the property going was no problem
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hosts. Good breakfast. Great room. Very clean.
Cons: Beautiful location set up on the hill with fantastic views, a little difficult to walk up after a big dinner and a few glasses of wine, it was a little difficult to find a taxi. But nevertheless we managed and it was a great place to stay. The owners dogs were a little noisy at night but apart from that no problems.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was much more than usual hotel concept. We were like at home during a stay in La Zagara.House was very clean and comfortable. There is fantastic panorama in their Lemon gardens. Salvatore and Nilde were wonderful hosts. We will always remember the breakfast they prepared for us. Thank you for everything. See you next year.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hosts, great location between Minori and Ravello straight in a lemon garden. The place looks nicer than on the photos. Nice spacious authentic room. Free parking.
Cons: Breakfast was very simpel and not consistent. One day we got a croissant (old), the other day not. One day we got cheese and salami, the other days nothing, only expired marmelade in regular plastic cups. This was a dissapointment and they can make improvement. Their is a sign that you can buy homemade marmelade, so why don’t they serve it? Another tip is adding a bin to the room, a soap holder and toothbrush holder. We also were woken up every night by their dogs who come barking at the door till late at night or early morning. This is not something we are used to. The last morning there was also a loud machine disturbing our sleep. Apart from these remarks, would recommend this place for visiting the Amalfi coast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice and cozy B&B on the small lemon farm. Easy to transport to and from Minori with the local bus, which only costs 60 cent per person. You can also park your car, in the private parking spot, if you want to. The only negative thing to say was the barking from one of the dogs at night (the puppy). It made it difficult to sleep through all the night. But it was a great stay and I would recommend it. The hosts were very friendly and kind and their english was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent venue and a fantastic host. Especially enjoyed being guarded at night by Fiocco and Spot the resident dogs who slept outside of our room at night.
Cons: There was nothing that bothered me.

The hotel has a rich history that dates back to the 13th century, while its location is simply breathtaking as it sits on a cliff-edge overlooking the Italian coastline. Amalfi’s historic town center is a short walk from the hotel. Most of the 53 rooms at NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi come with spectacular views and elegant white decor with terracotta tile finishes. Our Suite is unique with a 19th century frescoed ceiling. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in each room. The hotel offers delectable cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a gym and spa on-site.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is out of this world, staff extremely friendly and very kind in helping us with our little baby.
Cons: I would leave the lovely church without music playing, we found it a little loud while visiting!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facility is amazing, quite and very friendly staff specially Kristian and Flavia
Cons: If we take a tour in the facility before it could be better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view, the rooms, clean, excellent staff and polite in every sector. The location. The breakfast was super. However, for dinner the Menu was weak. They should include more ITALIAN Specialities ( different Spaghetti and Pizza ). Service of the Shuttle Bus was very reliable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Beautiful view from the room, nice garden. Good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location and the building. Staff nice.
Cons: We spent three days after nye. We totally understand that we were in costiera amalfitana but the room’s rate is not understandable if you consider that the room is really small and not well furnished. The service was nice but again if you pay 300 euro per night you would expect something more (ie the room’s preparation for the night etc).

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The family room was comfortable for 5, breakfast was lovely, the views are amazing and the pool was enough to cool off
Cons: The wifi is awful and 4G is also slow in some areas! The beach locations offered by the hotel cost €30 per day but there is a small free beach option.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Large modern room, with balcony, and amazing sea views.
Cons: Reasonable breakfast, it is advisable to improve the selection and fill in the missing menu faster.
6.7 Good
Pros: The view of the hotel is amazing! The rooms and the facilities of the hotel are not new but they are ok. If the price was lower it was good value for money but it is not the situation because the hotel is expensive and not worth the price
6.5 Good
Pros: The terrace, pool, check in was easy and the view was from a postcard
Cons: The restaurant wasn’t impressive. Service by the pool was slow. Food restrictions at certain hours was the worse.
7.5 Good
Pros: The sea view was spectacular! You could see the city too. From being on our private terrace or the top terrace for breakfast or for a swim in the pool... it was just gorgeous. And the location isn't bad if you don't mind a 5-8 min walk slightly downhill on the side of a road (no sidewalk), or if you have a car. Didn't try dinner at the hotel, but the breakfast was the best breakfast we had in Italy. Really yummy!
Cons: I felt like the room was a little outdated, needed a bit remodeling or touching up. And the bed could have been softer. But overall, nothing that would keep me away. Also, I wish the pool had been heated, it would have been far more enjoyable.
7.9 Good
Pros: The property was in a perfect location, a short walk into town. The rooms were spacious with stunning views and were lovely and clean. The staff were very polite and helpful.
Cons: The amenities in the room were slightly lacking in the sense there was no coffee/milk. The swimming pool was also shut so that was a massive disappointment. Breakfast was ok but could be better. Parking was also quite pricey.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: someone in the room above was a smoker and unfortunately was smoking and throwing sigarettes on our terrass.

Featured amenities include express check-in, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and limited parking is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: I loved the front desk staff attitude. The room was clean . Great location. Very close to amalfi.
Cons: U had to walk alot of steps to reach to the hotel . But the hotel staff would send some one to take care of ur luggages.
4.6 Okay
Pros: It was a good location, out of the hustle and bustle of Amalfi but still within walking distance.
Cons: The hotel was very dated. We were only provided with one pillow per person and had to call twice to get another pillow brought to our room. The breakfast were average.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel centrally located in Atrani. Our room had a great view of the town and the hotel is a short walk down into the main square of Atrani. You can get to Amalfi in about a 10-15 minute stroll either along the road or through a pedestrian tunnel. The breakfast buffet was very nice as well. We didn't use the spa facilities.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Escaping from crowded but still close to Amalfi. Hotel location is amazing, you can see the picturesque of Atrani from balcony or the rooftop. However, for those who doesnt like stair, its quite step to walk up to hotel but nice view is waiting for you. Anyway, Enzo hotel staff was waiting for us with warm welcoming before doing stair, helping for luggage. Soooo impressive for his service. I hope to comeback.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Its so close to Atrani Beach you just need to downstairs but almost 100 steps and it was little bit hard for me (im pregnant). Our room view was perfect and hotels facilities
Cons: There is no free parking area and we paid for vespa 10€ for a day. And too much steps to Hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the top terrace to the sea was amazing!! Even the view from our room to the sea was amazing. Very clean hotel. Short walk to the town of amalfi. Loved coming back to Atrani where it was less crowded with tourists.
Cons: We didn’t mind the steps up to the hotel. But may be a lot for some people. Hotel is only accessible by foot.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, apart from the 70 steps up to the Hotel was perfect. The view was excellent, And Carlos the porter was especially nice. He kills himself every day carrying peoples luggage up and down those steps, and deserves recognition. He was the easily the hardest worker at the Hotel.
Cons: Breakfast was a HUGE letdown. Cakes and breads were old and dry - not what to expect at a 4 star. The juices were straight from carton, and watered down. I cannot understand why anyone would use cartoned juice, and then water it down, especially in a health spa. Every other hotel we stayed at on out trip used freshly juiced fruit, as there was loads of fruit growing locally. This was pure laziness as far as I am concerned. We didn't use the health spa, as it was grossly overpriced, and considering the quality of breakfast, we had no desire to get ripped off twice Also, the internet/wifi was non-existent. not what you'd expect from a 4 star.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location right up the hill from the small town directly overlooking the sea. Beautiful dining facilities very nice breakfast and dinner. Staff were generally friendly.
Cons: Had problems with the air conditioning. Even though it was late October, the temps were warm enough to use the AC. Called the front desk a couple times to get the system working but a no go. Not bothersome enough though to prevent us from enjoying our stay and the beautiful views of the sea. Driving the Amalfi coast is a challenge so getting into the small parking lot is also challenging but they do have parking which is nice and a free shuttle to the town since it really isn't safe to walk along the congested narrow road to town.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The location was amazing. Every view from every angle was beautiful. The dinning room staff was also great.
Cons: The hotel staff (outside of the dinning room) couldn't have been less helpful or less knowledgeable. They could have also used a 24 hour menu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, especially Simone and Alfanso
7.1 Good
Pros: The property was quite small which is nice and the staff were fantastic.
Cons: The pool and sunbathing area was small and dated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool was perfect
Cons: We had to leave!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from the dining room was spectacular as well as the service and friendliness of the staff!
Cons: The air conditioner struggled but was still better than nothing. Also a fan in the bathroom would be great but may just be a European design. None of the places we stayed at in Europe had bathroom fans.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was alright.
Cons: old room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location!
Cons: Our room number 01 was located directly below the dining room, constant noise of chairs being moved on floor & noise. Noise started at 6am for breakfast & finished 10pm onwards following dinner.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room and all over the hotel was incredible. We loved being very close to Amalfi (10 min walk) but not directly in town. The staff was very nice and attentive and knowledgeable. The pool decks built into the cliff were an amazing place to hang out for the day.
Cons: The bed wasn't the most comfortable in the world but it was fine and made up for by the rest of the hotel
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice location - sea views
Cons: Pool closed and shuttle bus advertised was not running

7.9 Good
Pros: The location, high above the town of Amalfi is amazing, although a consideration if you suffer from vertigo. The free shuttle to Amalfi town is a great idea and allows you to indulge in the amazing restaurants and bars without having to worry about driving or taxis.
Cons: I was disappointed with the quality of food and the bar service which was not up to the quality available to the restaurants in town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were very helpful but we couldn’t give enough praise to Antonio in the Bar and Restaurant who was lots of fun and very friendly. We ended up eating in the restaurant every night although we only planned on going once just because of him. You rock Antonio. We will always remember you from our trip xo It had amazing views and was very clean and a beautiful hotel.

Pros: Breakfast was nice, in a beautiful setting among Lime trees. TV is room was HUGE, which was great because there was thunder storms while we were there. Old style room, comfy bed. Location is perfect.

Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: Needed full length mirror in room
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a room on floor 4 which had been recently modernised. It is excellent. Breakfast ws good with wide choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bri our first time in Amalfi this hotel was top notch ! Extremely informative and told us everything we need to know including some great food spots, how to catch buses and ferries and the times they come and go. The room itself was extremely comfortable, and high tech. Honestly one of the best stays in a hotel ive ever Done ! Thank you Hotel Amalfi i was definitely be returning during my next stay !
Cons: Everything was WONDERFUL !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was superb, and the setting on the terrace was a wonderful surprise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bedding and beds were very comfortable. We were kindly given upgrade as I was celebrating a big birthday! Hotel also gave us a complimentary mini bottle of Prosecco that night too. Very thoughtful.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, lovely, polite staff. Beautiful top balcony for breakfast with beautiful views. Very good breakfast with excellent choices. Large and comfortable room, good clean bathroom with plenty of room. Location close to everything. Would stay there again. Thank you everyone!
Cons: Everything was wonderful
7.5 Good
Pros: It was very central and clean with nice breakfast room and roof terrace. Lovely restaurants and bars nearby and very convenient for using the ferry.
Cons: There were a lot of steps up from the street to the hotel entrance, which was difficult with large suitcases.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was AMAZING. The HUGE HUGE HUUUUUGE plus here is that they do have a parking garage. There is ZERO parking in Amalfi so having that was a big help for us. The staff was beyond helpful, and everything exceeded our expectations. They did everything from recommending restaurants (which were all AMAZING) to booking a yacht tour for us. I was also fearful of my lack of speaking Italian, but the staff (and basically every I Italian we met) spoke English extremely well so even communication was easy. Actually, I would say communication as a whole was exceptional. We were emailing back and forth prior to the trip, and as we were arriving because getting to the hotel can be tricky with a car. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Amalfi I HIGHLY recommend you stay with Hotel Amalfi. They are right in the heart of the historic area (HUGE plus if you love walking and exploring). They are a short five-minute walk to the beach/several restaurants/ the boat docks for ferries and chartered boats/ shopping / and the town square. The staff is extremely helpful and sweet, and our room was cleaned daily!
Cons: There is not a single correction or dislike that I have with Hotel Amalfi. My husband and I went for our Honeymoon and had an amazing time. Our room and private balcony were separate from the hotel itself (it was just across from the courtyard) and was more private than I thought it was. ZERO dislikes here.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location was good, parking on spot, had to pay but it was convenient.
Cons: Needs more cleanlines especially bedding, rooms need more furnishings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Breakfast was the best in our 7 hotels’ trip with a stunning view from the terrace on the 5th floor. The parking cost €30 per day but it’s the best option in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can also mention that the rooms was renovated lately.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, view, facilities, service in the hotel. Concierge was super knowledgeable and helpful with our sightseeing planning. Ravello itself also appears to be perhaps the best town to stay along Amalfi Coast (no crowd, amazing view)
Cons: For some reason, we were not able to catch the complementary hotel shuttle bus in Amalfi and Positano - in Amalfi, the bus drove by us without stopping; in Positano, we were waiting for 20 minutes (10 minutes before and after supposed departure time), and was told the bus already left...using the shuttle bus from the hotel was fine though.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Hairdresser was not good at all , has to redo the blow dry myself in the room and my daughter also used her , and also had to borrow her tongs so she could curl her hair herself in the room as the hairdresser wasn’t doing it properly , the cost for wash and blow dry was over 70 Euros it would have been ok if done well . Probably the worse hairdresser I have been . Really shouldn’t have been charged , total waste of time and money
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Extraordinary views, great personal attention, good facilities
Cons: Easy access.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The views and the grounds.
Cons: I didn't love dinner at the hotel.

Cons: WiFi was only available in the lobby area. It didn’t work in rooms
6.7 Good
Pros: Location, good breakfast and free parking where the only pluses to my stay in the hotel.
Cons: Ants.. My room (219) had ants.Especially in the bathroom but a couple of times in the bed too. Also hotel is outdated.. Not old just feels like it got stuck in the 80's

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a beautiful area, our room was gorgeous and clean, the staff were friendly, helpful and courteous - this hotel was a little diamond we found - we will be coming back one day!
Cons: Nothing ... there is absolutely nothing we didn’t like.
6.3 Good
Pros: Central Location
Cons: The beds the ants
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was excellent. They delivered us a bottle of wine to our room and opened it while we were overlooking the ocean. The included breakfast was also excellent and the location was great. Maiori is a nice, quiet less touristy area of Amalfi. I highly recommend staying there rather than one of the more crowded areas.
Cons: The hotel was a little dated, but well kept, so not a big deal. The bed was a little stiff for our taste, but we were exhausted each day so not that big of a deal. The view from our balcony more than made up for it.
7.1 Good
Pros: On the water so close to the beach and had a pool which is what we wanted.
Cons: The bed was extremely hard which we did not like at all.

Cons: The price is a little high for the city and service, but still worth it.
