2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Poor experience at the Hampton East Chase According to the Hamptons staff much of Issue I had was kayak and Expedia's fault. Apparently when you put in all your information on kayak it does not transfer your phone number so the Hampton had no way to contact me to let me know the one room they had left was a smoking room.

Pros: It was a nice room, comfortable and clean bed, quiet, and relaxing. Staff was very friendly. Good location. Breakfast bar wasn't great, but wasn't bad either.
Cons: Cable constantly went out. Shower curtain was really dirty and needed to be bleached badly. Elevator also did a few weird things, but there were only two levels so it wasn't much of a concern.

3.4 Mediocre
Pros: I like the hot tub & pool
Cons: The room was ok but there was a strong musty mildew smell on the shower curtain. Last time we stayed, the breakfast was awesome & they had delicious muffins is one reason we booked for New Years 2018. The breakfast was terrible this time!! We went down 1 hour after breakfast started. Nothing was hot, the eggs appeared to be chopped in squares, the sausage was dry & tasted microwaved, the bagels were a strange texture and dry, there were fruit flies on the pineapple/honeydew, nonstick spray was not provided for waffle maker. Also, the night shift person locked my fiance & I out twice on New Years. We had to wait in 20* windy weather for her to buzz us in because the cards wouldn't work in the lobby. We had the cards reset twice. We won't be back!

Cons: I paid for 2 nights when I only stayed 1. I was charged for Saturday night when I booked the room for the next night. When I arrived I provided the desk clerk my reservation number and they had no record, even though I provided proof of a charge on my credit card. So I ended up paying about $350.00 for 1 night. Also, was told I had to pay for internet and breakfast,

Pros: I had good experience with the staff
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Location, facilities, quality and staff were excellent.
Cons: Shower control design was inscrutable. Might have been simply worn, but you had to push in the handle while turning it to turn on and control the water flow. We had to call for help. Also the system of having one person at breakfast seat people, take orders and deliver them doesn’t work very well and should be addressed.

Pros: Nighttime staff were exceptional
8.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful stay. Clean comfortable rooms. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. We ended up having to pay for valet parking in order to get our car parked.
Cons: Parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and kind. We ended up having to request a roll-away bed and they were able to accommodate quickly and professionally. We had a corner room with a lot of windows. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was free and had a decent selection of foods. They charge $10 for valet parking, but we were able to find free street parking close to the hotel. The hotel is around the corner from a number of interesting bars and restaurants.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Thank you
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hampton Inn Downtown Montgomery is an old hotels from the golden era that has been beautifully renovated and updated without doing away with the beauty and charm of a classic hotel. There is a double staircase in the lobby that leads to a balcony that surrounds the lobby on the second floor. The elevators still have the large dials over the doors with a needle that indicates the floor the elevator is on. Just a beautiful place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and decorated very nicely. They also have a fantastic free breakfast bar with hot food.
Cons: Nothing! Absolutely nothing to complain about.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. I had a corner room on a high floor and the views of downtown MGM were nice. It's right in the heart of activities so the sounds of evening revelry were apparent. The bed was comfortable
Cons: The internet was incredibly wonky and essentially unusable! I had issues connecting with my MacBook and my iPad. The pillows could be better. The TV is small given the size of the room and the distance from the seated positions and the bed. The breakfast offerings were uninspired, but likely okay for families with children (the hardboiled eggs were plentiful, though!).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was very nice. If you like history, staying in something more authentic, this is the place. It's an old building that used to be the Grayson and has been modernized with still some old touches on the inside. We had a great room with a view of the riverfront on one side and on the other a beautiful Greek Revival church. We were on the top floor and were able to sleep with the curtains open. However, there are a few you oughta knows: there was not a fridge in our room. Maybe we could have requested one, but it didn't become an issue until we came back to the room w/leftovers. Also, there's not a tub, only a shower. Wouldn't be an issue, but there was only two small shelves to put all my stuff (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) and no where to set my foot when shaving. This won't stop us from staying there again though if we decide to travel or are passing through Montgomery. Great place!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, well-appointed room Great free breakfast Downtown Historic property
Cons: Nothing!

4.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and sweet with my 2 year old son. The breakfast was fun and had tons of options, we loved it.
Cons: Our room was dirty. I had to look for one of my son's toys and therefore I inspected it thoroughly...under the bed was gross as was in the couch cushions and there was grime on the floor. There were cigarette burns in the couch. The pool was freezing. The hot tub was not properly treated and smelled like body odor and sweat (honestly, it was gross. we got out after a couple minutes and went back to the room to take HOT showers, then spent the next few hours hoping we didn't get skin rashes). The parking lot was full and I had to park across the street in a scary lot a block away and then run back to the hotel at night. Luckily I was told this by another hotel guest who had just found this out on his own. Once I returned I had to get the money I paid for parking stupid and the whole process took forever. Overall not run well, totally ruined my trust in Embassy Suites always being a safe bet when we travel.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: I love the location...i thought the building was family really enjoyed the stay there...
Cons: The sheets at the bottom of the bed looked nasty...i was charged one price at the hotel...but was billed something totally different....on my credit card.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Parking on late arrival difficult.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Great location and great breakfast. Staff handled complaints quickly..
Cons: Mold behind nightstand in our first room. Switched to another room, and it was still really humid. $10 to park. Glass shower with no door spray water all over the bathroom.

7.7 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable. The lobby area very nice.
Cons: I didn't like having to pay $10 or $15 extra to park. My reservation with Kayak said parking would cost only $5 a day. I don't think it should have cost anything. Also, the linen on one of the beds was stained.
7.7 Good
Pros: Good quality room, breakfast was very good. Clean facilities.
Cons: Had to pay for parking. Ridiculous to pay that much for room and still have to pay additional fee's to park.
5.4 Okay
Pros: This is a great location on the river right next to the Entertainment district
Cons: had to call for maintenance for AC to get fixed first night, it drips from the air return into the room leaving the carpet wet below. The carpet was worn and ragged in this spot. Paint was peeling in the bathroom ceiling, cleaning staff didn't touch room after first night or leave fresh towels. Front desk wa responsive with issues, but these are things that shouldn't happen
