Cons:They didn't change the bedsheets or clean the room (vacuum, dust, clean counters, mop floor, etc) when we requested maid service. They did give us clean towels. The wallboards were sticky with black fingerprints, the carpet was dirty and the walls had dust on them. The heater was SO loud and the tempature wasn't accurate so we were cold each night. The tv sat on the microwave and they had an old refrigerator and the handle was dirty. This will be the last time we stay at Fireside Inn.

Pros:We stayed in July and were very pleased that the staff accommodated our request for a room with a view of the harbor. We enjoyed the fresh breeze through the open windows (even left them open at night). The electric fireplace heaters were a nice touch and worked well to take the chill off the evening air. We loved that we could walk just two blocks to the harbor and enjoy meandering down the street, popping into shops or restaurants. We even saw a sea lion sunning himself on the rocks.
Cons:The continental breakfast is very minimal at the Inn, but there is a great Sun & Buns Bakery on Embarcadero with delicious pastries, breakfast burritos, and coffee drinks close by!

Cons:Old Bathroom, door didn't close. Heat A/C wasn't working.

Pros:Great location. Reasonable price. Decent facilities.
Cons:Rude staff. We were staying in Morro Bay for a wedding and my sister stopped by our room in the morning. The manager accused us of having more people staying with us. We were offended. The continental breakfast was room temperature Tang and costco muffins cut into four servings. You can borrow an iron from the front desk but expect eye-rolling.

Pros:The rooms were very spacious and there was plenty of room for the kids to roam around and they had a microwave and a refrigerator which made traveling with a baby much easier than the previous 2 nights. The room was very clean and even had a cute little fireplace. We will definitely stay again on our next trip.
Cons:The man at the front was very rude and didn't pick up the phone or come to the desk to answer questions. He also charged an extra $20 for the night because we had a baby. Who slept in a travel bed I might add. When I showed him our reservation he said it wasn't right and that he had to charge the extra money for the baby.
