8.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy to access. Price was good. Extremely amiable, kind, and helpful staff. Clean facilities and reasonably comfortable, except for mattress.
Cons: Mattress not awfully comfortable - pretty firm with thin padding, but not lumpy.. Limited selection of TV channels (4-5 channels only - most of the channels listed on the in-room card weren't actually available).
6.5 Good
Pros: clean, cheap, friendly staff, nice breakfast nearby at the Manhatten Cafe. It's not deserted. It is occupied by work crews and a few travellers like me.
Cons: Nothing has been updated in 50 years. Lime green tub, toilet, vanity are clean, but show their age. They have done nothing to bring out the charm of their vintage. Please, remodel the bathrooms.
