9.5 Excellent
Pros: The chateau stands in beautiful grounds, lovely garden to enjoy. The room was super, really comfortable bed, tea & coffee in the room, also champagne - if you wished to pay €45! Excellent breakfast too.
Cons: Not really a criticism but we understand that the waiting staff are still training so there were a few mix-ups; this could have been partly due to our command of French being a little lacking. All the staff were polite & eager to please.
7.0 Good
Pros: Fantastic view from the breakfast room. Lots of good food options, both healthy and unhealthy! The Chateau was in a brilliant location but it was a long walk down into town. It is worth checking out the local taxi companies for a return trip before setting out! For those that want an authentic experience by the river, check out Guinguette Mobile between June and August!

Pros: The rooms were fresh, the breakfast was good
Cons: after dinner in the evening we came up to our room. my daughter have asthma she started coughing and we felt it smelled of strong smoke (hashish) I called directly to the front desk and asked what was happening at their hotel. they offered us other rooms but it smelled there too. there was probably someone who smoked in the room so it went into ventilation to the other rooms, unfortunately the clock was too much otherwise we had changed hotels, we also had to convert our new room when they couldn't help us with that. this is our experience at this hotel, we thought they would take it a little more seriously but they didn't. This is not okay it is totally forbidden too smoke in European hotel

Cons: Shame there was no shower- plenty of room. No shower gel supplied. No coffee/tea facilities in room. Staff not very friendly or welcoming. TV channels very limited. Could have been better. Noisy in the morning from 6am.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: No air in the room, very small window
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean space
Cons: We couldn’t check in till the afternoon after 3pm. Eventually checked in @ 11pm The room was inaccessible from a lift and the wooden stairs leading to the room were dangerous to take language. I almost fell down the stairs. Not very health and safety conscious The shower area was substantially raised from the floor with restricted space. Danger of slipping when getting out of the shower There was no kettle or coffee maker in the room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location and roof top bar and bedrooms
Cons: Very nice building Rooms very good. Breakfast a bit overpriced for what we got.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent price--quality, because it was their cheapest and smallest room, but very big for 1 person, but maybe not suitable for tall people. Free parking and near the river.
Cons: Had to walk through many corridors and floors to get there because it was a cheap room. Basic and old furniture
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This was really a nice surprise, and old industrial building redecorated into a great hotel. It was nice to see all the brick works that had been spared. It created a nice feeling in the rooms. Our room also had a strange - in a positive way - layout, which was fun to see. The only downside to that was all the different steps you had to take. It might have been difficult for some people to stay in the room we had! The bed was good. The bathroom had a funny sauna built into it. It would have been fun to try it, but it was about 30 outside, so we did not use it!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Breakfast is outstanding. Everything is fresh and delicious. The Dinner in the Grill was also great, only the fries arrived long after the Steak. The crew was very friendly, as always! I´ll be back! :-)
Cons: My room had a wooden bar at the ceiling. For a guy below 1,90 meters no problem, for me (1,98 meters) it was. The air condition for the Grill was right under my window, what was noisy until 22:00

Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was nice. Hotel is close to airport, is well kept, clean and has free parking and a grocery shop literally 50 meters behind and across the street. Room was spacious and comfortable. Overall good value for money.
Cons: Room lacked air conditioning and small amenities like electric kettle and fridge. It's not a must have but usually four star hotels provide these. Also breakfast is too expensive in my opinion.

Pros: The size of the rooms, the restaurant, the cleanliness...everything!
Cons: Nothing not to like
7.0 Good
Pros: Room is very spacious, very good for family with small children.

Pros: Close to airport
Cons: To noisy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location on our way to Northern Europe
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Absolutely NOTHING!
Cons: Worse that terrible. Sketchy would be puting it nicely. This place is abysmal. Do us all a favor, and tear it down and start over. NO AIR CONDITIONING??? I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons, but a lot of the stench of the hotel would go away if you had air conditioning, and it wasn't 85+ degrees and the filth wasn't percolating within itself. Yuck!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant

Cons: Breakfast at €20pp is too expensive, especially if you have a cookie and a coffee
7.5 Good
Cons: Room 8 - No shower cabinet (enclosed shower) in the bathroom nor shower screen in the bath. The room was clean however their was a "blocked drain"/ slight sewage smell.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I got upgraded to a more spacious room. Very friendly staff (I requested 2 pm checkout and they didn't hesitate). The room comfort was absolutely fine. I usually go to Namur for poker trips and this is just next to the casino. 100% recommend (even for price!) compared to all other hotels in the area.
5.0 Okay
Cons: I did not return for the second paid night. the room offered to me was a child's room, it was tiny and it smelled bad. the hotel changed the first night but could not for the second so I did not return. Despite contacting them in advance to ask if they could cater for Vegans, and receiving a reply confirming they could. When I went to dinner I was told they could not cater for me and that I should have booked in advance - which I thought I had done.. in writing to ask in the first place. the internet did not work very well and kept dropping. As there was no attempt to cater for vegans I did not go to breakfast, I just went to work, hungry. I paid for 2 nights but stayed only for one, I will never go back here again
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is clean, comfortable and exactly below the Citadelle. Rooms are clean, quite big and well organized.
Cons: It’s not that I didn’t like it but it could be a negative point for others: the shower is separated by the room only with a glass. So you can see inside from the bed.
6.8 Good
Cons: The size of the single bedrooms is too small for a 4-star hotel
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Free parking outside, close to Citadel which is definitely worth a visit, friendly staff. Good place to stop enroute to Italy!!
Cons: Perfect for couples although not ideal for families. No high chair available and having to pay full price for a 2 yr old to have breakfast is a bit harsh!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great design hotel at a marvelous location under the Citadel and next to the river. Nice, clean and functional room, extremely friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. A perfect stay !
Cons: -
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast was too expensive for the offer/quality and it is a shame that the offer around the sauna is so limited/expensive.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the luxurious aspect of the hotel coming from the entrance to the reception. And I equally enjoyed the modern feel of the room which is well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the air condition was so much appreciated on that warm day!
Cons: The only thing that bothered me was that it felt very warm in the gangway between the lift and the room. The price for the breakfast (which I didn't take) seems fairly expensive (about 20€ if I remember correctly).
7.5 Good
Pros: Pol the attendant on reception was very very helpful in particular but the other staff were also helpful and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast. Bit disappointing at 12 euros. Fruit juice machine didn’t work and bread rolls were stale
9.5 Excellent
Cons: I could smell second hand smoke in our non-smoking room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, right by the station. Friendly personnel. Standard, decent breakfast. Nothing to write home about.
Cons: Hotel is feeling its age a little bit, so not the latest word in cleanliness or modernity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a good location for exploring Namur. While there is no parking on the premises, parking is very close and discounted by the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed.
Cons: We were pleased with everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely air conditioned comfy room
Cons: Parking on street felt a little insecure
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were large, air conditioning was very useful. I needed to charge my battery shaver and the staff were able to find an adapter for me. For anyone travelling by train like us the location was perfect.
Cons: The lift is tiny! You couldn't even fit 4 people with cases into it and there's only the one lift.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, just in front of the train station. Clean and modern rooms.
Cons: The check in process took forever since there was a lot of people in the reception at the time of arrival. Reception area and entrance looks outdated
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good place to stay. A traditional hotel with tradititional charme. In the center of the town. Parking may be difficult. It is very quiet inside because of excellent sound isolation. And because of the name of the hotel, they try to speak a bit Flemish...
Cons: Everything OK
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect!!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Directly opposite the railway station - in a well refurbished area of Charleroi. Nice!
5.5 Okay
Pros: The staff
Cons: The surroundings aren’t recommend especially at night. You’re not safe with people taking drugs near the park entry, groups of youngsters looking for an opportunity to steal your belongings as it happened to a friend staying at the same hotel.
4.5 Okay
Pros: At first glance this hotel looks great, near the station with nice outlook. Staff helpful and friendly.
Cons: On arrival was informed that my car would not be safe if left out front of hotel. ( Gangs of immigrants roaming around )12.50 for secure parking. Area to rear of hotel looks like bomb site. Police finally arrested 2 people and dispersed the remainder. Requested extra pillows but couldn’t use them as so badly stained. Woke up with several bites can only assume bed bugs as windows closed all night. Did not have breakfast as additional 14.50 per person.
6.8 Good
Pros: I liked the staff, they were helpful, the location of the hotel and the existing of a parking place.
Cons: We were at the 4th floor and it was very cold even if we closed the ventilation system of the window and turned on the heat(30 degrees) in July. The attic is not well insulated and the wind passes under the windows through the parapet.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds and everything spotless. Close to railway station which we needed early in the morning.
Cons: Doors noisy. Neighbours woke me a few times with doors closing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel placed perfectly from the airport shuttle - you just need to cross the bridge and you’re here. Room and bathroom were clean and has fresh towels/sheets. Personal was kind and helpful.
Cons: Service room is very early in this place. Service persons knocked at our door at ~9:40 - which is really too early for normal persons.
8.3 Excellent

Cons: No coffee in the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This budget hotel is a walking distance from the Train Station. If you are flying in/away from the Charleroi Airport then this hotel could be the best option to spend the night.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, perfect for an overnight after the arrival from the airport and next day travel to Brussels. The price was very friendly. The district was silent, I could sleep well.
Cons: From the touristic perspective, the city itself is not a good target, but our goal was different.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Prices mosquitos and flies in our room and maids don't knock at 9 am walked inside, spoke to us nearly 45 seconds while I was fully naked in the bed with my wife performing an act on me, did not just close the door, and leave the do not disturb sign was not on the door where I had left it as well, but still standing in the door way looking at me and my wife naked in that position and talking to us is not normal, my wife , was shocked and me too.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location, secure parking, friendly and helpful staff, good value.
Cons: Breakfast was expensive and disappointing - no fresh fruit salad, solid scrambled egg, no bacon, but excellent fresh orange juice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location and room was clean and comfortable
Cons: Had issues with the door locks not working on both of the rooms that we booked, but the staff were very helpful and sorted it quickly
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and tidy and staff very friendly Secure parking for motorcycles
4.5 Okay
Cons: AC was not working and the rooms was very hot!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: An easy walk from the station and town center was close. Host well able to chat in English. The bathroom was a pod that helped divide the room and make the bed area cosy. All the basics were there. Plenty of room even for people bringing in lots of luggage, including business people. Breakfast options were more than we could use.
Cons: More information on the town itself as it is a bit of a maze to walk through. It is a bit away from any food shop so for tired guests just off the train I would appreciate either in-room drink facilities or free access to the drinks machines in the lobby. Longer term food storage would be a problem.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s an Ibis. You always know what you are going to get. Good parking. Good location, easy to find. Breakfast was yummy, but no fruit. Could have done with a couple of more towels. The bathroom floor got very wet & we had to use one of our towels to mop it up. Nice bar & restaurant looked nice but we didn’t try it.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good

Pros: Our room was clean and really comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Cons: Can't think of anything

Pros: Secure Parking
Cons: Air con was poor, decor showing signs of use

Pros: The location is good for travelling to Germany because it is so near to the motorway and easy to find.
Cons: I had asked for no stairs but they located us on a mezzanine floor and I had to go up a few stairs. As I suffer from breathing as well as walking difficulties it was not too good. However, it was not worth changing for the one night after we had settled in.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good
Cons: All okay

5.5 Okay
Pros: The free nuts with the beers at the bar, couldn't get enough of them..staff were helpfull would make it easier if it was stated that if your needing a taxi before arriving then just to contact the hotel before hand, paid 5 different prices for taxis and more or less travelled the same distance everytime..
Cons: Booked as it was close to airport, expensive to say the least..Basicly in the middle of nowhere lots of cars in the car park but not 1 guest to be seen hardly..went to check out soon as my door card was put in box I was basicly ushered outside having to wait in the rain for a taxi

Pros: It was comfortable, quiet and relaxing as a stopping iff point on the long journey from Italy. It was also excellent for an evening trip into the old town of Namur.
Cons: As a disabled person, it was a long walk to the room.
5.7 Okay
Pros: The hotel has a nice feel, good for children, excelent location. Very price/ value.
Cons: I booked the hotel because it has a swimming pool, we had 2 children with us. De pool water was simply ice cold. I complaint about it at the front desk and the manager but with no result , they said the water was always 28 ° I have a pool myself in LA but this temp. was way lower than 28. Everything else was nice, I go back to Dinant regulary but will be hasitating to believe the heathed pool story so I dont know if I will book this hotel.
5.3 Okay
Pros: Hotel comfortable. Spacious rooms. Location is quiet and by the river. Ideal for travel by car.
Cons: Hotel 25 minutes away from city centre by bus. I was there on business so we were provided with transport every morning and evening. Last bus is at 9.22. If you miss this, You have to phone a taxi - walking from city to hotel is out of the question - too far away.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant was really excellent (5 out of 5) and well worth a visit if your in the area even if you aren't staying at the Hotel itself. I had Liegeusoie Meatballs which were came in a thick rich sauce with perfect chips and excellent salad. The Hotel is only 5 minutes from the motorway which made makes it very convenient for an overnight stop if your travelling like I was. Staff were great.
Cons: My room could have been improved by repainting, although was still good - clean and spacious, comfortable bed etc.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Worst part was the seating for dinner. My husband and I were there on the last Friday before Christmas, so the restaurant was understandably busy. However, since our last visit, the restaurant has been slightly changed and a large table brought in to be used also for the breakfast buffet. For dinner, we were sat across the wide width of this table which made conversation very difficult. Also, we were between another couple close on one side, and a party of 5 out for a Christmas meal on the other - not ideal for any of us. Bed was uncomfortable. Kettle lid didn't shut. Double glazing was not effective against traffic noise. Room was in older part of hotel, and there was a lot of noise coming up from the ground floor. I should add that we have stayed here on several occasions in the past, usually with a room in the newer end, and had a much better experience.
4.5 Okay
Cons: I had 7 written complaints to the manager. There was no cups or mugs at breakfast. ( they provide them in your room though ). Our room had not been cleaned / tidied after our first night properly. The bed had only had the quilt pulled over. Underneath it was just how we had left it when we got up ! The towels were as we had left them, and not been folded and put straight again. Two mugs had been left on the side dirty. The waste bin hadn't been emptied, and it had a banana skin in it smelling from the day before. The scatter cushions hadn't been put back on the bed, but left on the chairs where I had put them. The drinks cooler did not work, both days our things in there were as hot as if they had not been in . The smell from the bins outside our window was repulsive, and because the weather was so hot and our room was stifling we had to have the windows open! The receptionist came up to our room to see what mess the housekeeper had left, and she brought us a fan because she was surprised as to how hot it was. My husband asked her if it was possible to open the fire door which was at the side of our room, and when both she and my husband tried to open it , they couldn't get it open! Let's hope they never have a fire!
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good and the restaurant for evening meal was very good
Cons: Smelly drains
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cosy small room with large bathroom and comfortable bed. Ideal for spending one or two nights. Also the view from window is pretty as the hotel is next to the river. Helpful and friendly receptionists.
Cons: Lack of parking space (we arrived quite late in the evening). Also the hotel is remotely located so it is a bit harder to get to without a car and is not within the comfortable walking distance from Namur.
7.5 Good
Pros: We only stayed overnight on our way through arriving late and leaving early so perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The pillows was very hard, click my neck out, The shower wasn’t the best kept going freezing cold
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy to find, plenty of free parking. Very good restaurant.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant and welcome.
Cons: Street noise at 1 side of the hotel.

5.5 Okay
Pros: Room size was large. Hotel a short walk from the old town. WiFi good.
Cons: I was charged for 4 nights when I clearly only booked for 3 nights. When I asked for a correction I was charged 10 euro extra for both the 2nd and third night, bizarre rates. The room was stiflingly hot, 3 sets of stairs to climb to the lift. A cracked wash basin and very small TV screen. Drone sound at night from nearby air con unit.

Pros: We arrived at 2 am in the morning and were welcomed very kindly. We had handled the reservation and payment on the way, so check in was easy and smooth. Then we slept, woke up when house keeping knocked, got up and left. The beds were good and we were happy that check out was at 11 and not already at 10. The hotel is a bit worn down but the rooms, linen and beds are clean :)
Cons: For our purpose (sleeping) all was fine.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good and money worthy.
6.0 Good
Pros: If it wasn’t for the man at the front desk we would have had a horrible experience. He was very friendly and helpful and spoke great English. He assisted us in getting a taxi, getting train tickets, gave great advice and even let us print something for a totally different trip for free! We greatly appreciated his customer service.
Cons: Bugs in the room, bathrooms smelled like mold and were not very appealing but definitely could have been wrose!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff was nice, frindly and helpfull. Room OK
Cons: WC is the worst i have been, it's wc container! Not for hotel. Breakfast too expensive for the quality. Low options and no space to seat and eat.
