Comfortable beds and clean overall. Short walk to the French Quarter but still feels like a local neighborhood. Wifi worked well. Good value for the money and nice character.
No signs other than street address. Haphazard check in process. No coffee in the morning (there's a machine but no indication of where to find the materials or get water and no one around to ask). Only saw staff once, and it was her first day. Rooms are pretty much a bed and bathroom only, no place to sit other than the bed itself.
Great Location, great staff for a good value.
The Inn was a very nice place to stay. This staff was extremely nice and helpful, the Innkeeper let us know all the good places to eat and that weren't the mainstream places. It was clean and pretty roomy, for two people. It wasn't a very big place, which I liked because it wasn't loud or crazy. Even the neighborhood it was in was a very quiet area, but it was close enough to the Quarter that we could just walk there.
The only things lacking are nit-picky things. For example there was not ice available. And they only had showers not tubs. There was street side parking only and it was hard to find places to park at times because it is in a residential area. But as I said for all the pros, these are just little nitpicky things.
A little slice of home.
Kim and Charly are great hosts. If your looking for somewhere to lay your head after a long day this is the place.
