This is by far the most unique hotel I have ever stayed in! Loved everything from the eclectic room setup to the graphics. I would highly recommend the Ace Hotel to family and friends!
The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable.
The hotel was very noisy and the light for the corridor came into the room. The lobby was taken up by students on their laptops and no dedicated bar for guests. there is no wardrobe either. lighting too dark. we wont be returning.
Bad value. Expensive because trendy
Good location , kind staff , great beds
Rooms are pretty ugly . Bang for buck is zvery low , for the same price you can have a much nicer , classier hotel . Only stay here if you want the scene in the lobby
The Ace is very much a design, look, overall-feel type of place. It is modern, swanky, functional, young, simple all at once. The lobby was a dimly-lit bar and the music was a little loud. You couldn't hear it any where else. There are two restaurants and a coffee shop accessible from the lobby. Down the stairs is a workout room. Our room was the smallest available, but it was the space we needed. The room had a lingering locker room smell, but I'm guessing that was from the previous guest. It improved the following day. The pillows were great, the mattress sagged a little in the center. There was a small rack by the bathroom for hanging things. I thought the room could really use additional hooks, but it would probably interrupt their painstakingly graphic look and clean design. Don't buy from the courtesy bar. Yikes. The prices are steep.
Bit of musky smell to the room. Mattress sagged a little. Room could use hooks for clothing- more than what they provided.
Location. The restaurant and bar in the lobby was excellent. Has a great bar too!
Good for short time and rock And roll
The staff is great! The location is good. The theme it incredible
The rooms are too close, doesn't has any closet it is a little bit uncomfortable for the money that I be already paid.
Great Except for Shower
Beds were some of the most comfortable of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Ate in both the Breslin and the John Dory Oyster Bar and both were excellent with the Full English breakfast at The Breslin being the highlight. Every interaction with staff was genuine and pleasant.
The shower in our large double room seemed to be an afterthought, small and comically cramped. Whatever you're imagining is too big, I'm serious when I say barely enough room to turn around.
All in all was great. Definitely a younger vibe and nice attention to detail throughout the hotel.
Lobby has become a little overcrowded with millenials. Be nice if there were space for guests to have coffee/drink.
I was extremely pleased with my stay at the Ace Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well-designed, comfortable, cool, and clean. The lobby was always full of people. The attached shops and restaurants were all excellent and the location was perfectly in the middle of everything. I would definitely recommend the hotel and certainly stay there again.
So much character it hurts. Very cool especially the lobby facilities.
The day I was there ... No hot water.
The Ace Hotel brings the flavor of modern New York along with the hospitality traditions of the past. The rooms emphasize style, inspired by the triangular architecture of this property that dominates a New York street corner. It sits in Midtown Manhattan, right in the heart of the district that saw the boom of New York’s early 20th century growth. The suites are spacious and generously designed to maximize the comfort of guests. They have living rooms as well as pleasant views to the hustling and bustling world outside. Some feature clawfoot tubs that have classic and timeless popularity among both traditionalists and modern hipsters alike. The hotel offers access to all that makes this area of New York special: the art, the business, the shopping, the history, and the food. In addition, there is a variety of museums, theaters, and parks all within close proximity, making the Ace Hotel an ideal jumping off point for visitors to the Big Apple. Loft suites come complete with impressive hardwood floors, views up Broadway and king beds for guests to plop into after a busy day of exploring the city. The Wi-Fi is free, as is use of the complimentary in-room safe and refrigerator. To add an extra touch of class, some rooms come equipped with a turntable or even an acoustic Martin guitar. The Ace Hotel is a blast from the past, yet it proudly steps into the future by providing thoughtful conveniences to guests eager to take in all that New York has to offer.
