The New York Hotels Hotel Stanford is a boutique hotel in the heart of Manhattan. There are 124 non-smoking, air-conditioned guestrooms in this hotel which is less than ten miles from both Teterboro Airport and La Guardia Airport. The signature 1986 Est. Wine Bar & Lounge is on site as is the West Whiskey Lounge and East Sake Bar. Guests can dine and enjoy beverages at their leisure throughout the day. Other restaurants in the area include Keens Steakhouse, Royal 35 Steakhouse, Izakaya Mew, and Her Name is Han.

Pros (+) Location, staff, comfortable and spacious room, great hot water and pressure We were there on a busy holiday weekend and the staff could not have been more accommodating amidst the full house.
Cons (-) Only negative was very gross dirty old carpet, which psychologically detracted from the cleanliness otherwise. If they replaced the carpets or put noncarpet flooring in instead, I would rate this hote...

Pros (+) I like that it is fairly affordable for being in the city.
Cons (-) I think the staff isn't very friendly. They seem to be managed by someone who makes them very unhappy and pushes them to not focus on courtesy and service but rather the bottom line, money.

Pros (+) Good location, room was available on time, staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good option for us to have a visit to the city at a reasonable cost. No complaints.
Cons (-) The place is under construction, which just meant the staff seemed somewhat confused at times. We did not have any issue with construction noise (stayed on the weekend) or any thing else negative.
