Check-in took forever. One person was working the front desk (with a manager inexplicably sitting in the back) and there was a line of travelers waiting to check-in. I was not greeted until 15 minutes after I arrived.
Always a great place to stay, close to subway, Macy's, Penn Station. We have stayed here 3 times.
Always allow PLENTY of time to get down stairs or up as it takes forever for the 2 elevators to get people up or down.

The hotel was close to the red line 1 subway stop. The room and bathroom were clean. For the price it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful.
There are only two elevators and it is not enough. Guests were not willing to wait and constantly were either close to or over max weight capacity. Also we ordered room service and they forgot about our order. It took them an hour and a half to make breakfast.

They didn´t borrow wine glasses for our celebration of my sister´s birthday at the restaurang/ bar. The hotel did´t have any vase for flowers.

I was bitten by bed bugs when I stayed at the hotel. I stayed at the hotel for 10 days and by the time I checked-out, I have more than 30+ bites all over on my arms, hands, legs, face and tummy. I also saw a brown-like insect crawl on my suitcase and reported all of this to the hotel staff. The hotel refunded me one night's stay but kept insisting they have no bed bugs despite all the evidence I had because they say have regular exterminator checks. I don't think that answered the question about whether they did actually check the room and did something about the issue after it was reported. I've had to get my clothes and luggage cleaned out just to be sure. Not worth the hassle.
We decided on this hotel because of the location, close to many shops, attractions, train stations, broadway theaters. Affordable and comfortable, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant as well.
