Room comfortable.
Sound proofing between rooms could have been better.
The pool and location.
Guest in the next room complaining.
Location was great! They fixed the broken fridge in our room *right* away. Friendly responsive staff, overall good stay
Nothing majorly negative to report. Pool and gym are very small- (has basic cardio and like 3 weight lifting machines total). Soda machine was cash only.
Modern euro feel - roomy , good service
Modern, euro feel, roomy, friendly , clean - good service - it was very convienient walk for me to the piers at 50th where I was going to an art fair - also convienient to w42nd street where lga bus drops you off ! I also got a freaky great price on kayak
No coffee pot in room and breakfast place downstairs had nothing I wanted all for a high price - there is a fridge in the room and lots of little breakfast places within less then a block - I simply brought a hot water heater with me , a cup and a bagel ! The management was so nice I bet if I had asked them they might have provided ....
Good time
I liked how the staff waa very friendly and helpful also the hotel is in a great location right by time square and central park which waa very convenient, i would definitely reccomend to others.
Clean Rooms
No Coffee in the AM in the Lobby.
The pool hours are weird.
Good hotel - great location
We were in NYC to see some friends and go to a concert at Terminal 5, and we picked Skyline based on its proximity to the venue and the fact that it had $10 parking! It was a 10 minute walk to the venue, and about a 10 minute walk to the park or Time Square. The rooms were exactly what you would expect for a reasonably priced hotel in New York City, they were slightly smaller and a little old, but perfectly clean.

Pool was nice, cool setting on the top floor. Close to major attractions, not a bad price for Manhattan.
No coffee maker in the room, cold showers both days, rude pool staff.
Very Satisfied
10 min. walk to Times Square Great surrounding restaurants Affordable parking
I originally asked for a room with a king bed as it was just myself and the upgrade was pretty expensive considering the room would have stayed unoccupied. Room also significantly smelled of new paint which was not remedied.
Very accommodating, and very spacious rooms
Everything about our time here was excellent and we stayed here for 2 weeks. Would definitely come back again and would really recommend this hotel.
There wasn't anything we didn't like
close to up town,
I found the bed linen in poor condition. The bed blanket was brown in colour did not look fresh laundered . No bed bugs I did check.
Good location, near Time Square.
No
I come here a lot. The front desk saved my night. I bought a pair of size small booty shorts for my new transexual gurlfriend only to realize, when she tried them on, that she is a size extra small. The front desk provided some pins to cinch in the waist. What a night!!
Some people complain about lack of coffee makers. There are delis at every corner.
For the price it is very good. It;s not in a heavy traffic area like Times Sq, Parking is easy. Nearby delis, liquor stores and transexual clubs that I go to find gurls.
Loved seeing Remy, the conseierge, our friend from 10 years ago. Also appreciated the referrals to a great place for breakfast. All staff are very friendly and helpful.
Pricey compared to more upscale hotels. Room was next to exercise area, so it was noisy at some times of the day.
The location was great for us. (We went to the Jon Stewart Show which was a block away and then to Times Square, which was 3 or 4 blocks away. It is in a fairly quiet part of town and still quite accessible to everything. Rooms were very large, by NYC standards and clean and modern. The staff was excellent and parking was cheap.
The rooms were fairly warm at night
. Close to the heart of Manhatten . Fair value for money . Kingsize bed was fantastic
. Airconditioner unit leaked and left a wet patch on the carpeted floor . Furniture was old . No coffee making facility in room
comfortable and quiet.
no tea coffee facilities in room or lobby.not suitable for people who cannot walk long distance.breakfast choice which was expensive very limited
