The New York Hotels The Lexington Hotel Autograph Collection is a sophisticated hotel in Midtown Manhattan. The hotel was built in 1929 and showcases the style and architecture of that time period. Both St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the United Nations Headquarters are only a short walk away. This air-conditioned hotel boasts 28 stories and 725 guestrooms and suites, many of which offer balconies or two bathrooms.

This hotel debuted as part of the Marriott Autograph Collection in the summer of 2013 and is walking distance from Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central Terminal, Park Avenue, Bloomingdales, Fifth Avenues, Madison Avenue, and many Broadway theaters. The hotel has been transformed to create a space for business and leisure guests who want an iconic, upscale New York City experience.

The Lexington Hotel Autograph Collection is pet-friendly and offers a dose of history and art during your stay. There is an on-site fitness center with over 1,000 square feet of space that can be used 24 hours a day. Beauty services are also available through a partnership with NOMI Beauty. The hotel has a business center, concierge services, a sundries shop, and a Starbucks in the lobby.

We got a deal for our stay, making the place affordable. We were impressed with the 1920's Jazz theme in the decor throughout the hotel. the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel's location was quite convenient, near Grand Central Station and a short walk to Times Square. Would love to stay there again!

Pros (+) The staff were friendly and so helpful. The rooms were beautiful. The location was wonderful. Easy to walk anywhere you want to go. Loved it. I will be back.

Pros (+) Location, location, location. If you plan on walking and using the subway to get around the city the hotel is perfect as a home base to come back to if need be.
Cons (-) Don't spend your time at the bar in the lobby...pretty pricey and you can just go to a hidden gem anywhere in the city. Also no room WiFi, but free in the lobby, so not too bad.

Cons (-) Me and my girlfriend arrived to the hotel at 6pm. Check in time was 4pm but we were told we still had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the key? I would've understood if it was a computer problem but I wasn't given a reason as to why I had to wait.

Pros (+) Our room was nicely decorated and was clean. We also liked the fact that the hotel had water and coffee in the lobby. The hotel is centrally located, which made getting around the city very easy.
Cons (-) The room was very small and it was difficult to maneuver around our one piece of luggage and each other in the bathroom. The wifi also wasn't secure.

Cons (-) Noise levels from road were quite loud. You can't sit in the bar area without buying a drink, even if you are a hotel patron. I had forgotten my phone charge and the hotel staff was not helpful in providing a temporary replacement, perhaps from lost and found.
