Pros: Lilli was a warm and energetic host who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Beautiful B+B right next to a flour mill which smells fantastic. Fantastic parking area, lovely pool area and our room had everything we needed including a spacious shower (with good water pressure). And breakfast was amazing. Baking with the flour from the mill was delicious, great coffee, lovely fruits... Highly recommend!
Cons: It was perfect!

Pros: Fantastic welcoming personnel. Great homemade breakfast with good caffe. Air conditioning in all rooms and good wifi. Nice and clean everywhere. The appartment was in particular great for family of four. Great recommondations to resturants and activities by the personnel. Small but very clean and cosy outdoor area with swimmingpool. Car parking in shaded area.
Cons: One of the rooms we had was a bit noisy related to trafic in/out of nearby rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Very nice staff, very clean, confortable, wonderful breakfast (all homemade, even the bread!) and a very nice terrace with swimming pool. It is perfect, if you want to stay in the village of La Morra for enjoying the nice Restaurants in the center (walking distance). Even the wine yards are just around the corner, but it is not on the countryside outside of any urbanization. La Morra is a very special village and close of other villages with wonderful restaurants. B&B Fior di Farine is absolutely recomendable for all lover of very nice restored old italian houses.
Cons: For a culinary trip B&B Fior di Farine is perfect. Specially for couples and group of friends. It is acceptable for family with children, but for them there might be other better options with large gardens and greater distance to busy roads.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent for touring around the beautiful local villages and exploring the Barolo wine area The host Eduardo made us very welcome and recommended local restaurants which enhanced our experience of the area
Cons: The driveway to the property needs to be approached with care as it is narrow and steep at the beginning A welcome drink would be nice and would give Eduardo an opportunity to showcase the quality of his wine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Highly recommended place to stay! The location, view, room, breakfast, hosting family, their dogs, their recommendations - everything was just perfect!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation was excellent and all facilities we required for our break were excellent. Eduardo was an excellent host and could not have been more helpful. Location is very good with only a short drive to Dogliani where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.
Cons: The only slight point that renters should be aware of is that the drive, which is around 600 meters long is unpaved and consists of gravel which can get rutted after rain. Only a very small issue though.

Overview Reviews
Located in La Morra, Rocche Costamagna Art Suites is in the historical district, a 1-minute drive from Belvedere di La Morra and 7 minutes from Cappella del Barolo. Featured amenities include luggage storage and a library.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a fabulous boutique hotel located on the hilltop of LaMorra overlooking the Langhe countryside. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was serene and peaceful. The lobby showcased the property's wine, with the tasting room just beyond. There is also a huge veranda on this level with views forever. A full breakfast was served at a "sister" property about 100 yards away. Rooms were simply but perfectly furnished. We also had a selection of wines by the bottle to enjoy on our own terrace, with the same incredible views. Clean, modern, comfortable bathroom, too. We parked at a public lot about 100 feet from the hotel to unload our luggage and check in (it is a small, one-way street right in front of the hotel, so no dropping off luggage there). Then there are a couple of public lots (free parking), or spots on the street just down from the hotel, to choose from.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the center of the town, La Morra. From one hand you are not in the middle of wine yards , on the other hand, wide choice and quality of their wines, plus high-end atmosphere of the hotel makes a perfect combination of the Barolo region retreat. We were given a detailed tour to their wine production and tasted a good number of wines (included in package). As hotel guests we also got 10$ off for the wine shop. The wine itself provides great value for money. Highly recommended.
Cons: Wine yards are located in a distance from the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous spot in center of La Morra, friendly staff, walkable to all nearby restaurants and shops, large terrace, excellent wine tasting included along with wines available in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, view from the room, furnishing of the room, tour of the celllar and opportunity to taste and buy wine produced by the owners
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the highlight of our visit to the region. The suite was outstanding with the most amazing views, it also had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The mini-bar was a very pleasant surprise as it comprised of the wine selections provided by Rocche Costamagne. The most amazing part of the stay was the wine-tasting with Maurice; thank you.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The whole ambiance of the hotel, our room was particularly lovely opening out onto a patio which led to a beautiful pool surrounded by trees and an enormous fig tree.
Cons: It said on booking.com there was a restaurant but when we arrived they said they only served at lunchtimes. We were recommended a local one which was very good - the hotel is in the centre of a lovely hilltop town with quite a few restaurants so it was not really a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and efficient suggestions and personalized service were above and beyond.
9.6 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, great spot, great location, great breakfast, drinks, staff and design. Parking was also great! Close proximity to restaurants and things to do makes it well worth the stay. The staff is amazing and the owners are fantastic people, they care about what they do and it shows!
Cons: It’s not their fault but screens on the doors to prevent mosquito would be amazing. Most of Italy has no screens so we get it. The rooms were warm and the AC wasn’t working well. I’m wondering if they could adjust the AC but we never asked.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had planned to have dinner in the village of Barolo, but as we had a long day, we chose to dine in the hotel. I'm glad we did because the food was fantastic. This hotel is a great little gem in the heart of Novello.
Cons: There was nothing really bad about this hotel. The breakfast good and was comparable to that you'd normally find in most European hotels. Personally, I prefer a hot buffet style breakfast, but you normally don't find that in small European hotels. That said, the breakfast was still nice and had a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries, etc.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hosts, excellent food, nice views over the hills of Barolo region.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a food lovers paradise! The restaurants nearby are good but nothing is as good as the hotel food. Everything is cooked fresh with the highest quality of ingredients. If this restaurant was in the UK, we would be looking at Michelin stars. Wonderful location, beautiful rooms. We have been here three times so far and are looking forward to going next year. The owners are clearly passionate about their business and go out of their way to make sure quests are happy with their stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit to Bivio - first was in autumn 2016. Both times we stayed here for the restaurant, which is exceptional, and also exceptional value for money. The cuisine features traditional regional products (hazelnuts, mountain cheeses, indigenous fassona beef, and of course - truffles!) meticulously prepared and creatively combined. An appetizer of a little fondue of robiola cheese with black truffle flakes, and a toasted brioche for dipping, was sinfully rich and delicious. The other menu items measure up to this level of quality. Extensive wine list, with good choices in all price ranges. In the mid to upper ranges, excellent choices at comparatively good value for money. A couple of pages of Barolos from many makers, including the very best, and many that you will typically not see on lists outside the Piemonte region. Hotel is comfortable. Rooms are simply furnished but spacious. Bathroom is huge (shower no tub). Parking on site. View from the room (with small balcony) across the vineyard and forested hills from this high place (2,500 feet) is lovely. There is a swimming pool and hot tub. Pool is indoors (a pavilion with large windows), a good size, and heated. We could have a comfortable swim even in early October. Staff is efficient and welcoming. We asked them (in advance) to arrange a tasting for us at a winery of their choice in the area. They did this, at an excellent winery not far away, with a full range of excellent wines from dolcetto through barolo. Reserve well in advance; Bivio is deservedly popular and has only a few rooms.
Cons: Had the same room as in 2016. It had the same problem: the shower stall floor is rimless, and is Higher than the surrounding bathroom floor. The result is the shower water tends to flow out onto the bathroom floor. I mitigated this by putting a towel on the floor outside the shower doors to block that outward/downward flow. Breakfast is adequate, but by no means outstanding. Good coffee. The location is both a plus and a minus: the route here is over steep, winding roads through the Langhe vineyards. Spectacular views along the way, but this is definitely an out of the way place. If you are looking for a stay in the hill country with spectacular food - don't hesitate! Your taste buds will thank you. But if you want a town to walk around in, and an easy drive to arrive- you don't get that here.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Jayne and Erika were extremely helpful in helping us planning our days.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The food at the hotel was exceptional. Some of the best meals we had our entire trip and very affordable. Views from every spot on the property were beautiful. Pool was a good size and the loungers were really comfortable. All the staff went over and above to make the stay great. Appreciated they helped us book a smaller winery one day when we didn’t have plans. The vertical wine tasting with Roberto was the best we have ever done. Well worth the money and the cellar and tasting room are so nice.
Cons: In our room the bed was really creaky every time one of us moved and the A/C was so loud when on high. Restaurant could use some work as the lights were really bright and there wasn’t much ambience. At the pool there appeared to be a wasp problem and way too many pigeons. Overall still a really great stay though!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The view, the room, the food, the wine!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location - on a hill surrounded by vineyards. Large, comfortable rooms. Proprietors Jane and Roberto are absolutely wonderful - very helpful, warm, and caring. Will come back!

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The facilities were modest. The shower was leaking to the entire bathroom making it difficult to take showers. The shower head needs to change. The safe deposit box was not working.

Pros: The location , the building , the room, the restaurant , the breakfast , the host : Everything !!
Cons: Nothing ... maybe if I have really to say something : the rooms are not very well noisy insulated

The environment is interesting and allows for all kinds of activities; hiking, biking, exploring Barolo by car, good restaurants within walking distance. Great experience, we warmly recommend this hotel to our guests who appreciate good quality and personal service!

7.5 Good
Pros: Nice ambiance, quiet place, nice swimming pool..
Cons: the host couple was quite nice people however you cannot find them easily within the facility.. the restaurant was not open during our stay, so we had to go the village side (very close just 5 mins by walking) which has only 2 options for dinner, one is a small cosy trattoria, the other one is a pub which has very good beer and some snacks.. the facility and the garden has a nice ambiance that you can have a nice, relaxing feeling.. However, the whole facility looks little bit unattended.. I am not sure that the period that we stayed was not a high season, but in any case, the facility should be manged always by an authority available 24 hrs at the territory. English language might be also a barrier that sometimes we struggled to communicate with the host couple.

Pros: Breakfast was outstanding. Great local cheeses, pastries, and meats (especially the Piemonte Salami) with juices, cappuccino, etc. The owners (Luciana and Franco) are absolute sweetheart who will bend over backwards to take care of you. Great location at the outskirts of the town of Barolo with access to lots of beautiful trails, hilltop towns, and key cities (like Alba & Asti). Excellent WIFI and very clean. Feels just like home, but in the middle of wine/truffle paradise.
Cons: I liked everything. This is my second visit. And God willing, not the last.
