Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy.

Easy to book and to pay. Easy location next to town. All basic amenities present.
Parking can be a bit of a challenge in Oban. It felt a little odd that there appeared to be no-one around for most of the time in our guest house. Also, there appeared to be no kind of night-time security measure in place for locking (or even closing) the main door at night.
I booked a room for a gentleman on the train, which I explained to the manger! He was sick in the room which was not my responsibility as they should have got him to sign the TC with his name in stead they charged me £45 for clean up even know I was on the phone to a very cheeky woman saying I couldn't speck to the manger till the falling Thursday. Which was no good to me as I was k ly there for a weekend , after explaining 10 times very rude and un helpful I would never stay there or have ant dealing with them again. I
Good night's sleep, bedding was clean.
Tv had only one channel. Tv, kettle and hair drier are all plugged into a extension lead.
The room was as expected for the price paid, no frills.
Over powering smell of laundry detergent but that is due to my own preference and at least you knew the sheets were clean.
