Cons: Very noisy because of 1. bars with karaokes (loud and poor singers) until 3am each night just on the other side of the street and 2. the fridge inside the room Wifi in my room very low and vanishing regularly

Cons: I did not like having to wait over half of an hour for breakfast and having to climb 3 flights of stairs to my room with my bags and luggage ,this facility is not have an elevator and is not the best for older persons or persons with injuries as myself

Pros: The location of the hotel is great. Although there is no access to the sea from the hotel it is literally right next to the sea and it look amazing. The pool area is beautiful with a contemporary design. The suite I stayed in had AC, ceiling fans and the two TVs. The kitchen space in the suite was really good to have and has a fridge with a lot of space.

Cons: There was a complication with my booking, apparently the room had been sold to two people, myself and another couple. However I do not think this mistake was down the the hotel. They handle the problem efficiently, although having to wait another 30 minutes for the situation to be sorted out I was happy with the response from the staff. Apart from that everything was amazing. The staff are very friendly however the pancakes & orange juice should be avoided

Pros: We arrived a day late due to a storm and they deducted one day from our bill which was vey understanding as it was no ones fault. The staff wee mostly very friendly and helpful. A beautiful beach 5 minutes walk away.

Cons: It was low season so not crowded but the pool next to the restaurant was noisy at times ,even dinner time, so we did not risk eating dinner there. Any time of the day they would play loud music so sometimes we could not use our balcony. There was no access to the sea for swimming from the hotel deck.

Pros: Location was perfect! Near many restaurants and walking distance from many sights. I loved the breakfast! It was tasty and fresh. Service was amazing, from the front desk to the bartender! The view of the waters and pool was amazing to wake up with each morning. It was a beautiful hotel to stay in!

Cons: The rule of no guests past 10pm, not even for special circumstances. I feel if we are adults and can stay up late during our visit, we have to step outside to meet other friends since they are not allowed inside. Very limiting and first time I experienced this.

Pros: Staff were friendly and the bar area was pleasant and the restaurant next door was fantastic. Good views from the room.

Cons: Closest beach was a 15-20minute walk. Toilet leaked one evening and the pool was really small and right next to the main road. Expensive for what it was especially considering breakfast was not included.

Pros: It was very nice in all ways very well aquiped. Very clean nice neighbours. Just the location but that’s not the fault of the property. It’s just next time we would prefer somewhere closer to the beach.

Pros: The apartment was well appointed, clean and tidy; I was able to get a good night's sleep. Heather was very helpful as host and Chris provided airport pick up and transportation services during my stay.

Cons: The apartment is located in a residential area within 15 minutes walking distance of the airport. Closest place I found to buy food was at the airport itself.

Pros: Fruit and water complimentary. Extremelly low price for the quallity you get. I suggest 65-80$ per night for 1 bdr. Walked to the airport. Slept like a baby. Perfect.

Pros: The place is just awesome... talk about relaxation... the apartment has everything you could warm, all it needs is a pool but who need a pool when you have the beach couple minutes away.

Pros: Great to be close to the Airport, you can actually walk there. There are buses you can take to get into Bridgetown. It was very clean, peaceful and quiet. Get for couples who don't want to spend a whole lot of money to be close to the beaches.

Cons: Couldn't find a place to deliver food. Taxi service needed or bus service needed to get closer to everything.

Pros: The place was immaculately clean, fully equipped with everything you would need for both leisure and business. The location was spot on, very close to public transportation and also right next to the airport, less than 10 minute walk. A very quiet location as well. Simply perfect.

Cons: There was not much not to like. It is apparent the owners thought of all comforts . But I would have liked the option for a warm blanket or comforter as part of my bedding options. The bedroom can get quite cold and there is no blanket to help stay warm.

Pros: We were provided with a few breakfast items as well as laundry detergent. Host was exceptional

Pros: Location was good and complimentary food was available on arrival. The apartment was very clean and spotless. The washer and dryer was convenient and ac cooled the rooms well when required. On site parking allowed us to safely park our rental. The children enjoyed the space and was very comfortable in their own room and was happy to sleep in individual beds. Heather is very friendly and willing to make accommodations.

Pros: There were so many things that I loved about the place, from all the rooms to the hospitality of the host. It was really nice to get complimentary groceries.

Pros: From the moment we arrived, Sandra, Michelle and staff made us feel like family. We enjoyed every single second at Little Arches and are already planning our next trip back. The sea view room with our own private pool was heavenly, and the food at Cafe Luna was delicious. We have never met such friendly staff, I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat! x

Pros: The staff at Little Arches is absolutely amazing! I have never felt more welcome at a hotel than I did here. I was celebrating a special birthday so I received a room upgrade, a small gift and they decorated my room while I was out at my birthday dinner! They couldn't be more helpful. I didn't have to lift a finger while I was there. The food at the restaurant was really fabulous too.

Cons: The only downside of Little Arches for me was that there weren't other restaurants within walking distance. However, the St. Lawrence Gap area is just a 10 minute cab ride away.

Pros: Lovely property, great location near the beach and Oisitins, fab food and the most fantastic staff. We could not have wished for a more perfect wedding and holiday!

Pros: Great location for a tranquil stay. Just a few steps to the beautiful beach. The Hotel set up sunbeds and Parasols on the beach each day and can organize a drinks cooler which was ideal as the beach food/drinks van wasn`t operating when we visited. The Restaurant located at the Hotel has a fabulous setting and the food was excellent.

Cons: The beach waves were rough and rocky seabed. Wish they had more night entertainments at the hotel. No elevator but stairs were not bad. Needed more varieties on menu.

Cons: Definitely need elevators as I was on the 4th floor and had to climb 48 stairs each time! Cable did not work and gave fire stick and that didn’t work either. TV kept going out and repeating the same words which was annoying . Had to give me a cell phone as room phone did not work. Could use an update to the rooms such as tiles on floors in tub, bathroom and all rooms.

Pros: The hotel is beachfront, nicely laid out, comfy, clean.

Cons: It does not protect the guests from taxi overcharging - the only country I've been to (and I've been to many) where taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is cheaper than from the hotel to the airport!! Taxi overall is expensive, and there are no cheaper alternatives for families. Ocean waves were all the time too choppy to swim. Hotel could use renovation.

Cons: Power went out, we had groceries but couldnt use the stove so were forced to eat at the resort and spend money we shouldnt have. Caught in a storm, everything is closing and they didnt offer complimentary water, just a boxed meal since all the restaurants were closed. Would have appreciated a complimentary meal once they are back up and running since we had to stay since flights were cancelled and spend more money to stay on the resort.

Pros: I loved the view of the ocean from my room. There were some maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. The manager, he was very accommodating and allowed us to switch rooms. Overall, I thought it was an average hotel. Really need some updates.

Cons: Location a bit remote from tourist attractions. Would have wanted more dinner options with standard meal options that would appeal to kids. For example carriage house open for dinner each night versus just lunch.

Pros: Very nice and spacious apartment! the cleanliness is impeccable!! We spend just one day, for who wants to stay close to the airport is an excelente option! The resort is great!

Pros: The pools are nice and spacious. The buildings and gardens are beautiful and well-maintained. The view is spectacular. Our room (1-bedroom suite) includes a kitchenette, a dryer, a wash machine (it destroyed some of my clothes though), which makes it quite convenient.

Cons: For everything I asked for, e.g cotton buds, slippers, power adapter, bottled water, etc. they sent me to thier shop :( And by the way, we stayed in a "suite". The breakfast wasn't that bad (but certainly not great), but from this resort, I had expected much more. Things got broken constantly. Some got successfully fixed, some not, e.g. the a/c.

Cons: Was unable to have breakfast since breakfast starts at 7:30 am and I leave for work at 7:30 am. requested a grab and go only to realize there were no hot items on the menu. This was disappointing. Also the bathroom was not cleaned properly and had moss around the glass doors in the shower. The internet kept dropping in some areas of the hotel.

Pros: The room was lovely and so was the staff. I had a very pleasant stay in this resort. Lovely location and surroundings, entairment was also great. Food was good but can include a wider range of other menus

Pros: This place is right on the beach. The room was huge like an apartment with a full kitchen and huge balcony with a breathtaking view. It was my birthday and there was a bottle of complimentary wine with birthday greetings card. It was a lovely touch. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy and the beach was very enjoyable to bathe in. My stay came with buffet breakfast which had a lot of options and was delicious.

Cons: It was rather off the beaten track for first time visitors to Barbados. That is probably our fault rather than theirs.

Pros: The numerous nooks spotted throughout the property to welcome holiday reflection, and meditative like relaxation is sublime. An isolated compound with oceans of charm and none of the over imposed employee invasion is an original experience to enjoy for as long as you are staying in Barnados. Lush Quiet spaces, jungle pool and peacocks, are words that come to mind.

Pros: Beautiful, green and peacocks everywhere. Staff helpful and friendly. Jessica was very hands on and went the extra mile for us.

Breakfast on second day completely fell to bits - we were offered DIY instant coffee, and then fried bread with butter and marmalade - I had to point out to the waitress that it wasn’t toast. And then they got the bill wrong. BUT I loved this place and shall go back, many times.

Pros: The hospitality and relaxing atmosphere literally created by everyone from the staff made our stay wonderful. Food quality was surprisingly perfect especially in comparison to other 4-5* AI Caribbean hotels we’ve been recently. Usually while choosing a place to stay I pay more attention to the facilities and the beach than to the thanks from some staff members from fellow travelers, but here at Sugar Bay Resort the overall welcoming and relaxing attitude provided by the hotel team was a cherry on top of everything and made our family vacation perfect.

Cons: We stayed for 2 weeks in July-August and almost every day the beach sand and the water were covered with a seaweed brought to the shore. The hotel staff made some attempts to clean the beach, but still it was quite an adventure to get into and out of the sea through the sea grass ))

Cons: Dealings with staff was really hit or miss. When I reported a blocked washbasin and flooded shower drain at Reception it was forgotten and was still the same the day I left the Hotel. Sad to see missing light fittings in the lobby area and multiple blown lamps in their buffet restaurant.

Pros: The room appeared to be recently remodeled. We had the last room oceanfront top floor (3rd) room, furthest from the bar and restaurant. I don't think that we could have a better room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. All of the staff was terrific and friendly, but there were a few standouts (Shamia - Can do wonders with the limited options beyond Rum, Cheryl Ann- Ready to make your dining experience effortless and Darian on the beach at the right time with just the right drink!)

Cons: I would have appreciated knowing that the parliament building and its museum were closed on Tuesday. The shuttle to Bridgetown was offered by the hotel on Tuesday and Thursday, but no indication that the only thing to do in town would be Duty-Free (which is no financial value to anyone in the US). A waste of 4 hours.

Pros: The entire property was pretty clean. The wait staff at UMI were very good. If you want a quiet and calm place to stay with not much activities, this is the place to be.

Cons: The restaurant staff were not very attentive except for the specialty restaurant UMI. The food at the reef restaurant could be better. The bathroom in the room was not cleaned properly. Nothing much to do on the property especially at night.

Pros: All rooms have an ocean view and are in very close proximity to the ocean. Additionally the staff are very helpful - particularly the cleaning staff.

Cons: There is no gym/exercise area. This was a big issue for all of us as we had to go offsite to another hotel. They should convert the “rarely used” small restaurant into a gym. Small double beds should be upgraded to Queen at least. Decor is very dated but that’s not really an issue.

Pros: We really loved the location and the resort. There is an added convenience of staying in a smaller, more quaint resorts, and short-distance walking from the front desk to the studio room, and to the beach in a matter of minutes!

Cons: The breakfast menu and food quality needs improvement. I did not like baked beans as an item choice- and it was actually pork& beans. The hash browns should be prepared using fresh potatoes, instead of frozen brown & serve potatoes, and the bacon was not quality or cooked well.

The staff at reception and in the restaurant were extremely helpful and accommodating with great suggestions on where to eat and what to do around the island. Very quiet and peaceful perfect for a relaxing quiet refresh before travelling back to UK. The hotel even provided me late checkout as I had a late evening flight. There is also a downstairs shower and changing room so I was snake to freshen up before my flight. :-) really appreciated that!

Cons: My stay was absolutely perfect. Only thing I would say is be prepared for the mosquitoes but that’s everywhere on the island. Also the restaurant could do with some vegan options.

Pros: Proximity to the beach is optimal, the service staff is amazing and breakfast is lovely. The ocean view studio is very cute and comes with a stove, plates and cutlery if one is interested in cooking for oneself. This was a pleasant surprise.

Cons: The pool is not the biggest, and after having stayed at Accra Beach Hotel it was just basic but this is not a deal killer. The beach that the hotel occupies is not the the calmest but this is the south coast of the island and that's what you get. The walls are a bit thin and some adjoining rooms might have guests that are sticklers for quiet and your noisy child might drive them crazy :) Other than those minor things, they're really no downsides to this hotel.

Pros: Everything. From the moment we arrived, Geri was absolutely the perfect hostess. Attentive, but not overley so, which is just what you need after a long flight to get orientated.

Cons: That we couldn't have stayed longer. The guesthouse was brilliant and Steve and Geri the most interesting couple to talk to.

Cons: Completely poor service. Nobody cares about any of your requests. The transfer was supposed to be organized by hotel but nobody came - and no excuses at all. Main restaurant is awful. Sea view room in fact was a pool and roof view, and very little of the sea. Had to ask for making-up the room for three times. Lots of disappointment. We left this hotel 2 nights earlier, and spoke to a manager asking for refund - no reaction. We even didn't receive a final statement. The location is not really great - lots of waves and windy.

Pros: We were really impressed by the hotel. The staff were all helpful and friendly, the location was great (including great white beaches), the food choice every day was very good, the cocktails were great. It was also helpful to have the different pools to relax in, with beach towels supplied.

Cons: All the restaurant staff were amazing but the reception staff have a lot to live up to. Very slow. I asked for towels 5 times before I got it. We booked trips but no one told us when we were departing (despite asking 3 times!) No one knew anything. I found a few of them a bit rude. That said, everyone else was a delight. Very friendly.

Pros: I really enjoyed the size of the rooms and the fact that you can have 2 rooms communicating together. We were a family of 7 and it was perfect. The rooms and facilities were always clean and well maintained. There were some great events at the small bar of the hotel with great people teaching us about Barbados. Shawn from guest services was extremely great at booking us the right excursions. The location of the hotel and proximity of the beach was fantastic. We were very happy about the 'smaller' type of hotel/resort, with 3 pools and direct access to the beach. Finally we met some great people from multiple different countries and made some new friends.

Cons: It felt as though not all of the staff at the hotel is happy to be working in the service industry. When you choose a hotel you are looking for the best experience that will make you want to go back but not all of the staff felt as though this was their mission or values. From a cuisine perspective, both a la carte restaurant need better quality and better variety. Breakfast were great but dinner options were limited and not tasty. We ended eating out on multiple nights which makes a trip more expensive when you pay for all inclusive. There are some quite good restaurants on the island so hotels need to follow as well.

Pros: Overall, we all loved our 5 night stay here at Sea Breeze Hotel. The resort isn't super large or populated, so it has a nice intimate feel to it overall, and you quickly get to know the lovely staff and other visitors. The beach is very nice, with good chairs, and is right in front of the hotel. They served us drinks us on the beach which was a first for us. We spent most of our time their. The rooms we stayed in were recently renovated (or it was a new building), so we were very happy with their quality. Pretty much all of the food was spectacular too.

Cons: My partner and I, and another couple, were traveling together. So when booking, instead of getting 2 separate individual rooms, we saw that we could save some money by getting a shared room that had 2 separate bedrooms each having a large bed in each (and we didn't mind sharing a bathroom and living area so this made sense for us). That is how the room is listed on book.com. But when we arrived, we were not happy to see that one of the rooms had 2 single beds in it. This was a very difficult problem to resolve, because the on site management could not provide us with the room that we had booked through this site. At first they actually challenged me, and asked me to provide proof of the room that I booked. Luckily me being the paranoid person that I am - I had proof. I also even took the initiative to add a special request in the booking that we were 2 couples who each wanted a room with a single large bed because I had read other reviews where people did not get the room that they thought they booked - which didn't matter. Since we arrived at 7 pm, and nobody on site has any power to change anything, we had to wait until 8 a.m. the next morning until their central office was open to get it resolved. So for the first night my partner and I slept in two single beds quite reluctantly. It turns our after some very hard debating (I'm a very stubborn person, and I felt wronged by this, and I wasn't going to settle until they accommodated to our needs), we learned t problem is this sort of room configuration does NOT EXIST at all, which we found out the next day when the marketing manager came on site. Aka they are false advertising on book.com, so be careful what you book. I am happy to say though that eventually they did resolve our issue, and ended up giving us two separate rooms that were conjoined - which I greatly appreciate.

Pros: Each time I stay there the hotel staff tries to charge extra fees. For example, the oven was dysfunctional and so I had to use a small bath towel to remove the food because of the smoke. The food got on the towels and the staff wanted me to pay for the towel. All they needed to do was use bleach. Also, the fire alarm in the room was removed. This is the second time I've had a towel experience with this hotel. They did not was the towel beforehand but wanted to charge me. Wash the towels. They are supposed to get dirty

For the amount that the restaurant costs I was not pleased with the service. Considering the restaurant wasn’t crowded (approximately 10-12 people total) I had higher expectations.

Cons: Having to pay $3 a day to use the safe in the room is ridiculous. The presence of a kettle and cups but the absence of tea/coffee/milk etc is not what i would expect in this range of accomodation. I would also suggest the fish ponds be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. Breakfast was overpriced for what it was.

Pros: Breakfast by the beach was one of my favourite things to do. The property is in a nice location with a nice beach out front. The staff are very friendly.

Cons: The only issue I found was with the bar. The food is great in the hotel but the drinks are not good. There is a nice bar area by the pool with which the hotel could do so much more. The doors facing the street could use better soundproofing as there is a lot of noise emanating from the street. Aside from that however I would definitely return to this hotel as it is a very nice place to stay and the staff at the hotel are both friendly and attentive.

This hotel lived up to the description and then some - really can’t overstate how much we enjoyed our stay here. If you want a smaller boutique alternative to the big resorts, with the same (or better!) quality service, fresh food, refreshing drinks, stunning coastal views and ambience in a modern, well-appointed hotel with the most helpful and friendly hotel staff you could hope for, then this is the place for you.

Pros: The customer service at this hotel was great. Truly loved the Manager Michelle! She did everything from book us a tour for Harrison Cove, made us drinks call Bob Marley which were excellent , to giving us a small history lesson about Barbados. The food at the hotel is really good, especially lunch and dinner. You have a small private beach but are in walking distance to a larger beach with white sands and crystal clear blue water. I would definitely highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a higher end boutique experience.

Cons: Kitchen closes early, so if you miss the allocated time slots to eat, you might have to leave the hotel to get some food. No clock or bathrobes in the rooms. Also it is an all inclusive hotel but they give you an empty fridge in your room. It would have been nice if they would have stocked the fridge with juices, waters, small bottles of wines and liquors.

What I really loved about our stay at The Soco Hotel was the induction on the morning after your check in Michelle was BRILLIANT she gave us all we needed to know about the island. COMPLIMENTS to the chefs from breakfast, lunch and dinner I looked forward to meal times. The high light of my trip was the cocktails name it and and it will be made I had every single one of them even the bar tenders special. They also host a Cocktail night where you can meet the owner and give feed back which is always great! Will be returning

After contacting and emailing this hotel several times, we were not able to book the shuttle. There was no response from the hotel, and or return email after leaving several messages.

Pros: It is located in the center of attraction in the area and on site parking with a wonderful view of the ocean. The room is spacious and it has a balcony. Plenty of restaurants and services around the corner.
