Pros: Great Hotel, it is in the mountains and it was really quiet and we felt absolutely comfortable and relaxed. It was the most cleanest room we had in 3 weeks and kitchen was fully equipped. Staff was very friendly. We liked the chimney in the room so much and the direct access to the terrace from our room.
Cons: Just a minor thing: We thought we have view over Lake Tahoe and over the mountains , but the Hotel is situated in the Valley, so you see the Mountains around you
10.0 Excellent

Rooms have a full kitchen so you can bring groceries and not stress out on getting fussy kids to a restaurant that they aren’t going to eat anything from anyway.
Cons: No thermostat so keeping the heat at a constant temperature is annoying.

Pros: Spacious room, well equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed, good sitting area, dining area, and desk
Cons: no.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly front desk staff! Condo location is perfect for hiking and mountain biking
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: No ice machine that worked and laundry machine not close
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: None
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: The property overall was fantastic! Our experience was poor due to a room facing the very noisy pool. Do not stay in a room facing pool if you are looking for a relaxing mountain retreat. It was like we were at a public pool (VERY loud, packed with people) until quiet hours at 10pm. Sound echoes off of the walls in the pool courtyard — we could barely hear our television. Not the experience we wanted after an early start to all day activities.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great family location. Definitely will return!
Cons: Centralized
7.5 Good
Pros: The view from the hotel
Cons: I mostly like everything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. All of the kitchen amenities were perfect in our room!
Cons: The blanket/comforter on the bed was a bit thick and a bit hard to sleep at night. We woke up throughout the night because it was too hot.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location & clean
Cons: Loft room has a weird configuration. No privacy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the price and almost everything.
Cons: I like everything about staying at Squaw Valley Lodge except for the phone call from the reception only after 2 hours from check in when they told us that the residents below us complained that my our footsteps was loud.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Property is very outdated. The unit was not updated since the 60s. White tile everywhere, extremely old appliances, squeaky sofa bed. No USB outlets, pool tile edges broken/ falling off , only one jacuzzi had jets working. This would be ok if they did not charge s ridiculous “resort fee” and the rooms were $100.

6.8 Good
Pros: The location is great, the breakfast is good...The bed is comfy. The shower was not great.
Cons: The noise and smells from the restaurant were awful. The fish tacos and other food saturated the air and made me nauseous. It was so noisy and smelly I will not stay again during the busy months.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and convenience
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful, quiet friendly environment with an amazing view and lake activity. The service culture is friendly and on mark. All in all a wonderful place to escape too. Can’t wait to return❤️
Cons: Having to leave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room. It had a fireplace. It was very clean. Really a very nice stay. Beautiful balcony view of the lake.
Cons: There is a kitchen fan that you hear when you sit on your balcony. It didn't bother me, but it bothered my husband.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The views were wonderful. It was cozy and a bit rustic. The continental breakfast was excellent excellent. The afternoon cookies were delicious. The property is adjacent to a country store offering delicious coffee and lung options.
Cons: The breakfast area because really jammed at times.?Why couldn’t the guests eat in a small section of the downstairs dining room? Afternoon tea and cookies could remain in the same location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Natalie was super accommodating and very friendly
Cons: Not one thing. Sunnyside rocks!!
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is perfect! Loved the private deck on each room with peak at lake. Nice. Always enjoy the food and drink on deck out front. Beautiful!
Cons: The advertised "tea" is just cookies. Note a true tea. The coffee was not ready at 6:30. The somewhat surly waitress said there had been a scheduling malfunction. At 7:45 when we had to leave there was still no frittata available. Disappointed. Pricey.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location location location! Rooms have been upgraded. Small lodge feel, big Tahoe views
Cons: Little noisy between late night party goers and traffic noise but nothing too extreme
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location with yummy food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Always a great way to get on the Lake and have the true Tahoe experience!!! Thank you again and again for the many times we have enjoyed as a family!
Cons: Everything.
6.8 Good
Pros: Overall, this is a very nice place. The hotel is located along a beautiful shoreline, and the bar and restaurant provide a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the view.
Cons: Unfortunately, there are not public spaces in the hotel (balcony or lawn) in which the view can be enjoyed without dining at the restaurant. If you don't have one of the rooms with a lake view it is a bit frustrating. The breakfast room offers a limited view, but it is a bit small. Breakfast was good but didn't change at all over the course of the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fantastic, great meals there too and all the staff were superb

Pros: Beautiful location. Rooms very clean and I received a complimentary upgrade when we arrived.
Cons: Wish they had a pool and breakfast buffet somewhere close.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The suite room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The hotel seemed to be poorly maintained. During our stay, an elevator in our building developed a problem, the hot tub in our building was under renovation, and the in-room coffee maker did not work. Also, the walls were thin making the room noisy.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location.
Cons: No.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was spacious and in an excellent location.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The free complimentary upgrade to our room was amazing. The room overlooked the main court music vendors mountains team and ski runs and was with in close walking distance of restaurants and shops loved it.
Cons: The condom wrapper under our bed and the smells in lobby to the 300 suites or tower 3
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We've stayed multiple times at this property and always find it to be a great location and comfortable stay.
Cons: The sheets were incredibly scratchy and pilled this time. Management did send us a new set as an apology, but they should really not keep sheets in that condition.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the resort was empty and quiet that night making for a good relaxing night away from the office.
Cons: the air conditioner was not sufficient to cool the room. We both had a terrible nights sleep that high camp pool and tram were not inclusive, everything cost additional money
7.5 Good
Pros: Kinda cool but a lil creepy weird feeling
Cons: Weird feeling
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful
Cons: Did not get to sleep very much. The music from the pub in the village right below my windows was on till late and then came back on at 6am with hard rock music ugh.
6.3 Good
Cons: The room decor needs updating. Furniture appears used and out of style. Bed was uncomfortable. TV in bedroom was small as was the overall feel of room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The TV did not work. The blinds would not close

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Traveled with my son for weekend at Squaw. Room had full kitchen and fireplace. The included breakfast was very good. My son raved it was the best included breakfast he ever had.
Cons: Parking can be a bit of a challenge if you get in late.
5.1 Okay
Pros: They gave us an upgrade to a nicer room with minimal cost increase.
Cons: Original room very dark and in need of updating and decor. One small window not at eye level. Room smelled of smoke. Resort of desperate need of upgrading.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was very nice and I liked the cozy sitting areas in the lodge.
Cons: The whole place is run down, our shower curtain had mold on it, yuck! The night manager was beyond rude and unprofessional towards my son and family two nights in a row(including his wedding night) very disorganized with communication and hostile. The resort never told my daughter in law that her wedding flowers were delivered, she inquired several times, they were left in a freezings area, half were dead, and the others wilted. I could go on! Not at all happy with this causing unnecessary stress to what should have been a wonderful experience!
4.5 Okay
Pros: the property was beautiful - staff was very friendly
Cons: rooms were not clean - maid service never showed up - no heat - tub dripped water constantly - tub was a jacuzzi tub but jacuzzi did not work - rooms smelled musty and moldy - you could see the inside of the room thru the trim on the door

Pros: Location and amenities
Cons: Traffic and cleaning services
7.5 Good
Pros: An older complex, setting in the Mountains and Trees. Tiny Bathroom, and small Room. Rustic Interior, comfortable Beds, Microwave, Mr. Coffee, and Refrigerator.
Cons: Tiny Bathroom, distance to pool, spa, lobby. It’s like an Apartment Complex but rents rooms.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Eating breakfast outside.
Cons: Poor room conditions for a large amount of money, room unclean with stains on the bathtub. Fruit for breakfast looked good, but was sour and unripened.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Really comfortable beds in a great location, just a very short walk away from the shore of the lake. Stylish decoration. Lovely communal areas including decking with a lake view. Some really good restaurants nearby.
Cons: On one occasion staff members were arguing in front of the customers and generally the customer service could have been better. Breakfast could have been better stocked - on both days we stayed they had run out of milk & several other items were missing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location, a short walk from lots of great restaurants, shops and activities. Really clean rooms and a fun, friendly common area
Cons: Rooms are very dark - some better lighting would be appreciated
7.5 Good
Pros: Absolutely amazing views. Great location at the edge of Tahoe City. Easy to walk everywhere, but far enough away from the commerce. Right across from CVS and grocery store, so super convenient.
Cons: Although I gave a smiley on the facilities overall, there were a few things that needed addressing, like the pump bottles in the shower for shampoo/soap/conditioner. They didn't work well, and in our room, the hardware keeping them on the wall was falling off. The staff, while lovely, needed to be a bit more attentive to the cleanliness of the breakfast area. They appeared to clean up at the end of the breakfast time, but not during. I was told by a local who'd been to the hotel's opening that it's a bit worse for wear now after a few years, and needs some upkeep it's not really getting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed the unique decor in Basecamp rooms. He room was cleaned thoroughly. The cold water was a great idea instead of the $ of bottled water. Thanks
Cons: The rooms were on the small size especially noticed in the bathroom. Everyone and everything were very nice.

Pros: We liked that the room was clean and neat. Property was was quiet.

Cons: The furnishings are outdated but still in great shape and very clean.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is good
Cons: There is something really odd going on here. This is peak tourist season, all locations in town are completely booked up. This place was completely empty, perhaps one other party besides us, the parking lot was empty. The staff was non-existent, not even there, the office closed for our entire two day stay, no wonder there were no other guests, it was impossible to check in. I would call this the Bates Motel, it is very eerie. The place is in great decline, it needs to be razed to the ground, and start over with a new building. Recommended only for the strangeness.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super great customer service from a Patricia at the front desk!
6.0 Good
Pros: Rooms recently remodeled, nice breakfast.
Cons: loud noise from neighbors and road. Massive door crack between frame and door let light in!!! No movies or in room phones.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: clean and has great location. Lady on reception was super helpful and polite and welcoming
7.5 Good
Pros: The lady who check us in was super nice, and the place was very cute and clean
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: That place needs to be completely redone and needs new management. The lady working there was crazy and lived in the room next to ours and kept us up all night doing crazy stuff making weird noises and taking baths all night. It was down right ridiculous and she had to be on meth.
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is well located in Tahoe City, close to restaurants. It is easy to find and parking was troublefree. Room is large with a spa inside. Room and bathroom were clean. Our king size bed was confortable.
Cons: Room decoration is outdated. Walls need a painting job. Furniture is not adequate with the room size. There was no cable TV. Despite what was announced wifi was operational. We stayed for two nights. The room has not been cleaned after the first night neither was the bed done. Even though we do not want bed sheets to be changed, we like to have the bed done.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice bath tub, small freeze and the microwave, coffee table (did not find coffee filter though :) ). Overall, me and my kids was very happy. We'll come here again.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No cable, lukewarm hot water
7.5 Good
Pros: Great customer service, rooms were clean, great location near the lake.
Cons: Rooms are old, security not great, door knob was falling off handle. Heater was loud, kept waking us up when it kicked in. Only decaf coffee provided.
