PROS: A modern/industrial design that caters to the needs of cyclists doing the Shimanami Kaido bike course. Rooms are new, clean, well designed, and comfortable. The staff were great, always helpful and kind. The location is perfect - easy walk to the train station, along the harbor front, and very near to the ferry to begin the ride. The building has parking for bikes inside, lounge areas, cafe and restaurant, and even a bike shop under the same roof. Not a traditional Japanese hotel, not a traditional Western hotel, but a very positive and unique experience that I would recommend. You do not have to be a cyclist to enjoy the hotel, but if you are a cyclist you shouldn't miss this place!
