Palermo inns

Pros: The room was furnished with classy old wooden furniture, there was a tiny balcony which was a pleasant surprise. It was in a good position in the city

Cons: It was a little hard to find being on a dead end street and the map showing just the housing block. It was a little noisy when people were having breakfast outside the bedroom door. There was also some confusion regarding payment but it got sorted

Pros: So we liked the location, we like being away from the centre, but it was close enough to walk and it was near to the sea. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's not a BnB like we thought and how the pictures led us to believe. It's multiple rooms being rented out in an apartment. It was extremely creepy at night, very dark lighting and dark wood furniture and beams, there were some creepy pictures of a nun with children on the wall which sent our brains into over drive and i couldn't sleep in there, i had to sleep in my friends room. It was freezing cold at night and there were no extra blankets and the heating wasn't working. Overall we had a bad sleep and couldn't wait to leave.

Pros: The room was clean and the terrace for the breakfast is lovely. Staff is really nice. Good location in the city center but not the best in terms of parking.

Cons: We had a late check-in and it was very complicated even though we let the property know our arrival time.

Pros: location was perfect.............room was spacious , clean and had a balcony. breakfast was ok , if not the best we had during our vacation....

Cons: VERY IMPORTANT - on an alley. taxi had no idea but dropped us close (another hotel had a similar name). A kind gentlemen in a building close by actually walked us to the door........dont know if we would have found it without his assistance. (the key was in an unlocked lock box by the door.....just had to open it and voila!) Lady looking after the place was less then friendly but her replacement on the last day was sweet. Thats it.otherwise a very good place to stay.

Pros: Good location. Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and major sights of Palermo.

Cons: A TON of stairs to get to the check-in of the B&B which is difficult enough with luggage, but even harder if you have a disability of any kind.

Pros: The location and the room were good.

Cons: The bathroom had a big hole which opened on the room. Not ideal for the privacy. May I suggest to close it and put an extractor for humidity and bad smell. A corner of the room had a humidity problem. I took a picture but it wasn’t a big deal. We had to wait in from of the door for 45 minutes before to check in because the owner did not pick up his phone. They had no organization and did not know how long they were staying. We literally had to tell them everything in Italian ( forget about English). Then they tried to charge us more by asking 16€ of local tax instead of 12€ and when I asked for a received they did not look like very happy. So for me the global impression is that, in the best case they are not professional at all and in the worst they are not fully honest. I won’t come back to this place and I don’t recommend it because of the staff. The rest was good.

Pros: Big room, good air con. Nice shared kitchen area.

Pros: Excellent location. 10 mins walk to quattro Canti. 1 min walk to porta felice and to take the free tourist bus.

Cons: Just beware that there is no lift to the 3rd story. There is aircon but was wishing it could be colder. Pillow was too soft for me.

Cons: We found at least three beetles in the room. There were no gel nor shampoo. We were given a big pack of every body part (basically hands) instead. The balance was positive in the end though.
