The Oak Motel Palo Alto is a budget-friendly motel in California that offers affordable accommodations to all kinds of travelers going to the area. The location of the property is very convenient where there are many things to see and do.
There are 42 guest rooms that have recently been remodeled. Guests can choose from one bed or two. The rooms have the amenities travelers like to have when they’re away. There are minibars, free toiletries, TVs with cable programming, refrigerators, microwaves, desks, and hairdryers on request. All rooms are also air conditioned and have free Wi-Fi included.
There is a free breakfast provided by the Oak Motel Palo Alto. Guests can always find coffee and tea in the common area as well. There are many restaurants within a couple of minutes from the hotel property. Dinah’s Poolside Restaurant is two minutes away, as is The Sea by Alexander’s Steakhouse. Pacific Catch and Chef Chu’s are both an 11-minute walk from the motel.
The motel does have an outdoor pool for guests to enjoy. There is also a business center. The front desk is staffed all 24 hours of the day for the convenience of all travelers. Guests can go shopping at San Antonio Shopping Center or Stanford Shopping Center. Googleplex is only a few miles away. Other attractions in the area are Rengstorff Park, Charleston Plaza, Stanford Stadium, and the Computer History Museum.
The Oak Motel Palo Alto is just a 10-minute drive from the local airport and 18-minute drive from the San Jose airport.

Pros (+) Swimming pool.
Cons (-) WiFi was inconsistent, price was way too much. "Breakfast" was served in a small room with a couch. If you are in the bay area, maybe check out another city to stay in, the owner said all hotels/motels in the city go for over 200$.

Pros (+) Clean, fast WiFi, nice art print on the wall. Adequate parking, and of course a low price in a costly area.
Cons (-) Lumpy bed, loud and not very effective AC, laughable breakfast, bit of a sketchy vibe if you're the sort to spook easily. Slow front desk everything.
