Air condition, hot water TV worked, free shuttle to and from airport. Friendly day receptionist, helpful friendly owner. There was a free breakfast but I did not have any.
Night receptionist was a sour puss, the bedclothes looked dirty and very thin. I asked for cotton or thicker ones and she said they did not have any. I had to use my cotton towel on the bed. Minor cons for me: The window faced some kind of water or power pipes. No view at all, WiFi did not work.
The hostel is close to the airport and because I had a very early flight I was able to walk to the airport, luggage in tow, in under 25 minutes. There was a lot of space in the room itself. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were not so. There was a nightstand.
There were no provisions to hang clothes. The water faucet in the bathroom squirted water in spits and spats. There were some music (to me, noises, from outside) that kept me up past midnight. I'd been traveling all day and needed some rest so I could catch my early morning flight. Unavoidable perhaps were the noises from airplanes taking off and landing.
They were courteous when responding to my questions by email, otherwise there was nothing to like.
Staying there. It was one the worse hotels I stayed in, in over 40 years. The room, bed, bathroom, air conditioner and neighborhood were like out of an Apocalypse movie. The nobs were off the air conditioner and the air was blowing directly at your head, without a way to adjust it. You had to keep it on to drown out the noise from down the hall. The window faced a wall and what must of been where they threw all their broken down equipment. The neighborhood was again like the Apocalypse movie, broken down homes, vehicles, fenced in yards or businesses, the restaurant I thought was a walking distance away was a dive where I smelled no food cooking and looked like where the locals get drunk to drown the sorrows. The pictures of the hotel and the restaurant were so misleading and must have been taken 40 years ago when things were in better shape.
No wifi in the room
