Pros:
We liked the pool, there was a pool that was climatized, which was very nice if you are cold and don't want chilly water. Also we were able to take our dog, a bulldog, this was excelent that we were able to take him. VERY NICE!!!
Cons:
The food. It was extremely limited. Few options, there should be more options and tastier food. The three days that we were there we were offered white rice morning, noon and night, no different rices, paella, or fried rice for a change, just plain white rice that I eat at home, and plain bland chicken, no steak, or nice pork. For breakfast no bacon, or french toast, nor omellete station. Also there should be at least one more restaurant open, for the days when there is a larger occupancy, we had to form a line to enter the restaurant, and then once inside, another line for the food.

Cons:
This location was booked at least 5 days in advance. The hotel was not full at all but our rooms were put in a location with a horrible view. They changed the rooms to view the beach and pools afterwards. The TVs in both rooms were not working until the second day of our stay which we were told had to do with the service provider for the cable. One room did not have an ironing board and I had to call downstairs to request one. The actual phones that are in the rooms are inoperable to call the front desk, etc. You have to call a number they give you via whatsapp to get a live body to talk to. From the day of arrival which was a Friday to departure on Sunday midday there was no room service at all to change linen or empty trash. If the resort is open it should be sufficiently staffed to run business as usual and this was not the case here. On top if it all upon departure we noticed that we were doubled charged for things which came up to $200 which they had to remove from the total of the bill. This was a stay that I booked for my cousin's birthday and the experience was awful.

Pros:
Loved the view and the decor. Food was delicious at the steakhouse. Bathrobes! Very spacious setup, very airy feel considering the quantity of rooms.
Cons:
Bedroom slippers weren't supplied considering the hard tiled floors in the room. Constant noise from the loud commercial agitated music playing on the loud speakers of the pool bars. Couldn't escape it and lounge at the pool at the same time. Pool closes way too early, 7pm. And there's no jacuzzi unless you pay for it. I was looking forward to sitting in the hot tub and admiring the view after dinners. Hot tub is in the spa facility and costs extra.

Pros:
I loved the facilities for use as a family, mainly the pools. They were very clean and beautifully maintained. The views of the Pacific and the boats waiting to go though the canal were spectacular. The beach wasn't a white sand dream beach, but was one of my favorite parts because the sand was all shells and you could hunt shells for hours while walking the beach. It also changed landscape throughout the day because of the tides, which was fun to see and experience. I didn't like the room as much as the facilities. I hate smells and it was musty smelling and my clothes always seemed wet and it was a bit too small for a family of 4. We paid $185/night to stay through booking.com, that was not including breakfast or any other food, which I think for the room was a bit high as it just wasn't great. The fridge didn't work well and there was barely any drawers to put our things away in. There was also no where to sit or hang out other than the beds. We stayed for 8 days so it would have been better if there were more space to put things away and a place to store luggage and clothes that wasn't in the way. Also the food was not great. It was a lot of what I consider as American foods and I was really hoping for delicious fish tacos, fresh grilled fish and tons of veggies and fruits. We did the dinner buffet on a Monday night and I was VERY disappointed in that. It cost my family $45/person, I Think, and they had nothing great to offer. A salad bar and some gumbo type rice that was good. That was about it. When we got there later in the evening we had to wait for it to be restocked which was fine, but the fact that it was cheap food and late was not great. We wished we would have eaten at Asiana again as that was the only food we really liked there. I do have the say the breakfast buffet is delicious, but still no Mexican or Spanish inspired dishes really just a standard American breakfast buffet.
Cons:
small rooms, musty smelling but beautiful pools and facilities. nice staff, not super attentive, but polite.

One of the few Beachfront Hotels in Town.
Cons:

Pros:
The size of the room was ok
Cons:
The worst thing was that the beach is not like in the pictures , as Panama has big tides , most of the day the beach is gone and there are just a lot of rocks . But worst than that is that the hotel is so near to the Canal of Panama , that there are dozens of huge cargo ships so the water is contaminated ( some Panama friends warned us after watching our instagram ) and also there are warnings of stingrays in the area put by the hotel in the beach ( they should tell you before going there , not after ... ) you can’t swim , no one did the four days we were there ... About the hotel : it is very dirty , two of the three swimming pools didn’t have filters working and were very very dirty, the swimming pool chairs where full of bird’s “dirt” ( some of them very old ) and a lot of them were broken . It seem that they don’t care if the place is like that cause we told them and they didn’t do anything about it... Also , because the time of the year ( they said ) there was a CHITRA infection . A little insect that bites ( it is painful ) and makes you very itchy . Also they should tell the clientes this before going there or treat the hotel against them, cause after 4 pm you can’t be outside or open your room windows and they don’t even recommend to eat in the terraces of the hotel’s restaurants. After the first night we thought that some chitra had bitten us , because we were full of itchy bites , but after the second night we realized that something was in our bed .. fleas!! We had our body full of bites , it was horrible ! We told them and instead of apologizing, they tried to tell us that they were mosquito bites, as if we don’t have mosquitos in our country and we can’t tell the difference. After complaining a lot , they changed our room and sent us a “doctor “ , who told us that the fleas where our fault and that sure we had brought them !! AMAZING !! Please don’t go to this hotel because it hasn’t the quality of a westin hotel.

The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful, the room with balcony overlooking the beach was exceptional and the facilities are excellent. There are various dining choices from buffet to grill to Asian dining - and the spa treatments are not to be missed!

Pros:
Aside from one young clerk, the dozens of staff were great. Special thanks to the porter who took care of our luggage while we waited for room. Our room on the 9th floor was great, spacious, balcony with spectacular views. Gym, pools, beach, drinks, all good, buffet dining excellent.
Cons:
First check in clerk did a poor job explaining all inclusive rules, then tried to put us in a poorly located room. When we politely declined, he became noticeably rude, and we requested a different clerk.

Deceptive with the name "Playa Bonita". It is anything but a nice beach. Hotel is for large "incentive" travel of not-so-educated people who drink a lot of alcohol and shout a lot. Food is "all inclusive", meaning abundant but low quality. Will not return.

The housekeeping staff was not very friendly and didn't do a very good job cleaning while we were there. The room was often not restocked with clean towels, Kleenex and toilet paper. You don't always have hot water to shower.
