They mixed up with the room. It should have been two queens and we’ve got 1 king. Also the food was average. Much better food in the restaurants next door.

This place is awful! If you are ok to pay 400$ and sleep in the bed full of insects then go there. Staff is very rude and have no idea about hospitality business!
Pros (+) Love this place: Our eighth stay in ten years!
Cons (-) Really can’t see how anything could be improved. Sometimes music from concerts at nearby Mamita’s is horrendous but that is not Mahekal’s fault.
Pros (+) Amazing service and staff, clean and beautiful property, great location on the beach and near all the city center has to offer.
Cons (-) In room refrigerators would be nice to have.

When I say sound, I mean a massive bass that permeates all structures and covers the beach from South to North. Cons (-) Rooms, facilities, location, staff and secluded beach. I enjoyed it so much, already booked another trip in early 2017. The central location to Playa Del Carmen was especially appreciated.
