Pros (+) The hotel is an oasis in the middle of a tacky beachfront. We ate every meal at the hotel as it’s the only decent and best restaurant for miles. The staff are amazing and the pool and grounds are lovely. Just make sure you ask for a renovated room above ground.
Cons (-) The location is 25 minutes south of Salerno. The beach and ocean are actually quite beautiful but have been poorly zoned and maintained. They are riddled with Lidos (day clubs where you park your car and get two chairs and an umbrella. The hotel’s section is quaint but quite nice My only complaint about the hotel itself was their shuttle bus air conditioning was broken so it was a 25 minute daily ...
