Pros: The breakfast was delicious, the location was convenient and easily accessible. There were so many extras offered, freshly baked cookies, coffee in room and available early in the kitchen, local loose teas and french press available any time, candies, helpful with meal ideas and reservations, carried in luggage. Top to bottom it was an outstanding experience.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Ravenscroft Inn. The building was beautiful and well kept, as well as clean and tidy. It is quite obvious that the innkeeper and staff paid attention to all the little details - from fresh flowers to little treats in the room. The kitchen and breakfast areas are beautiful and spacious with a shared kitchen available for guests with tea/coffee and some daily treats - fresh baked cookies!! The room, linens, and bed were luxurious - a real treat! Do yourself a favor when you're in Port Townsend and stay here!

Pros: Quaint, cozy, homey. Loved the veranda, the family style dining and our sun porch!! My daughter LOVED the claw foot bathtub and took advantage of a soak!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: We had a reservation that was confirmed by the property, including charging the full cost of our one night stay six months in advance - - when we got there we were told they had no record of our reservation and no room in the inn. When I sent proof of our reservation and payment to the owner he refunded our money less a "cancellation" charge of $25 - - I've complained to the owner, but no resolution yet.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Old House with ocean views. Close to shops and restaurants in Downtown Port Townsend. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: A little too quiet. Some quiet music downstairs would be nice.
6.8 Good
Cons: The man who greeted us wasn't particularly welcoming. He really wanted to get through his speech about the "rules" of staying in a 120 year old house. Woman who worked here scolded us for pressing the wrong button on the espresso machine. We are early risers (6am) and coffee isn't put out till 8 and breakfast is at nine. I've had six tiny espresso's at this point and really wish they could have put some coffee out at 7. The little notes they leave about using the facilities are sarcastic. Over all It's beautiful and comfortable but I feel like I'm staying at my Aunt's house who doesn't want me to sit on the furniture.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved eating breakfast with the other guests at the same time. It was fun knowing others and talking as if you know each other .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding - by far one of the best I have had anywhere. It was a 3-course meal, served at a beautifully set table in an Edwardian drawing room, facing onto a breathtaking view of a small white lighthouse against a backdrop of blue water below the cliff. It was served to us by the Innkeeper, Cyndi, who was dressed in period clothing. The Innkeeper was friendly and welcoming, but not intrusive. There were a number of musical instruments in the drawing room, including a large harp that she informed us we were welcome to play! (which we did, albeit badly...) Also a billiards room in the basement, complete with its own suit of armour! Our bedroom was just beautiful, with an equally lovely bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal, with plenty of hot water. The toiletries in the room, handwash, body wash etc, were locally made lavender and rose-scented (Made in Sequim) which you could also purchase from the lobby if wished. They smelt incredible. Handmade chocolates were delivered to our room, via woven basket hanging from the doorknob, with a small note inside welcoming us. The town of Port Townsend is one of the most beautiful, picturesque places I have seen. Every home is more beautiful than the last. We wine tasted at Port Townsend Vineyards and ate at a local bistro. Also excellent! I can't wait to return and spend longer in the Old Consulate Inn and in this absolutely stunning part of the world.
Cons: Nothing! It was genuinely all exceptional!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored and maintained historic home and garden. Accommodating hosts.
Cons: The formal breakfast with other guests, although the menu was always divine!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it seemed every time I walked into the house I was greeted by the smell of freshly baked cookies. (They were really good as was the breakfasts each morning) Cindy went out of her way to accommodate me as I am a non meat eater although it was not expected by me
Cons: The only way my stay could have been even better if there were an elevator instead of the two flights of stairs I had to climb to get to my room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My friend and I were coming into Port Townsend to go whale watching. The Old Consulate Inn was the most affordable and did not have a minimum night stay. We shared the bedroom with the twin beds for a night. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very spacious. Aside from the courthouse bell, it was very quiet. The building is a beautiful Victorian home built around 1889. The owners have done a good job with upkeep and decor. They also accommodated our early departure the next morning. We requested a to-go breakfast. The regular seated breakfast is around 9am. In our boxed breakfast we were surprised to see all the food. There was a lot of it! And all so good! There were 2 different muffins, 2 different fruit cups, slices ham, and 3 kinds of cheese. It was very delightful!! They were also flexible with dietary restrictions. I would stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing experience: a beautifully decorated house, very friendly and knowledgeable inn keepers and a delicious breakfast! Home away from home.

Pros: The staff and the ambiance were superb. I cannot describe how good breakfast was - even with the Hurdy Gurdy "Happy Birthday" at Sunday breakfast. Excellent place to stay we will visit again! Rooms were neat . very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Not a single thing - loved it!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: A lovely inn in every way. Quiet, peaceful, and comfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Very quiet and close to my friend's home in Port Townsend. Fresh strawberries from their garden. And they had deer that visited outside the window during breakfast in the morning.
Cons: The innkeepers did not provide maid service. They had a sign to save water saying "please reuse your towels, and if you want a new towel, put the dirty towel on the floor". They never checked to see if we needed a new towel or wash cloth, even though we put two towels and a wash cloth on the shower floor. They did not clean the bathroom nor did they make the bed.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the B&B were lovely
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host and hostess were the most hospitable. A perfect location away from town .
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful & friendly owners. Breakfast was delicious every day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We took a whale watching cruise the next morning which meant we had to leave before breakfast was normally scheduled. They made breakfast earlier to support our schedule. I'm not promising that they will do that for everyone but it showed that they are willing to go above and beyond. The deer outside in the morning was a nice addition.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful B&B! The owners (Bob & Nancy) are very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. When you arrive they give you a tour and offer you a sparkly beverage. The rooms were good size and the private bathrooms are nice to have. I noticed that they paid alot of attention to little details in the private rooms that really make a difference in the quality of the stay; little things like giving you a fan, tissues, water + cups, extra face/hand towels, even a lock for your door. I'm usually pretty disappointed in beds/pillows, but their's were surprisingly comfortable and we slept great. I heard another B&B guest 1x close their doors when they came in around midnight, but otherwise it was quite for sleeping. We enjoyed some quiet reading time in the morning before breakfast as we watched the deer outside eating their breakfast! Breakfast was at 830a and it was a lovely and delicious spread of food. Much nicer than a hotel type breakfast for sure! We were happy with our stay, and would definitely recommend it to family or friends. It's also a convenient drive to downtown Port Townsend (10mins). Thank you! we hope to return in the future.
Cons: I wish they could accommodate children so we could return with our family! You never know... I'll email in the future to see if we can figure it out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just about everything. The place is beautiful and it was such a treat to see the deer in the front yard every morning.
Cons: The Wi-fi wasn't very strong.
8.3 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Great hospitality and food. Very helpful staff. Grounds were full of nature. Loved the deer feeding in the front yard in the morning. Great value

7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is centrally located to access the historic downtown district, the state ferry, eateries, grocery stores, gas stations and the always interesting boat yard. Friendly staff and reasonably good continental breakfast. Quiet.
Cons: The hotel changed ownership a few years ago and after the renovations the landscape maintenance and overall maintenance of the building seems to have lapsed into a shopworn appearance. It's disappointing: a formerly handsome establishment looking shoddy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view of the docks was good. Room was spacious.
6.8 Good
Pros: Room comfortable. Basic room, price through booking. com reasonable. Price on weekends (F, S, S) through hotel I thought was a little pricey for what you get
Cons: Shower low, even for someone my height. I am a woman 5' 51/2". I can't imagine how it would be for a taller person. And every room with harbor view, means if you look to left, you can catch a glimpse of harbor.U

Cons: The stairs to the top floor. There was no food options like a light breakfast. We did not see water for sale in the lobby until we checked out and their was not option in the soda machine for it. Wish their was a small ice machine on each floor.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: 1. The location is excellent to travel to different parts of Port Townsend 2. The room was clean. 3. It will need interior and exterior updates. 4. Pleasant staff 5. Owning a guest rental, I am aware of how people are price sensitive and also want the best of everything. It is a basic hotel/motel.
Cons: The hotel and location met my expectations. Wi-Fi worked well Easy to park You can hear people walking on the top floor walkway because it is wood. It wasn't too noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was thoroughly delighted here...it exceeded my expectations by far. It is an extremely well looked after older place, & as soon as I got to my room...I felt totally “at home”. I have never ever felt this way before. It was impeccable, absolutely charming and delightful, warm & friendly, comfortable, classy and downright beautiful. This place adds charm to Port Townsend in every sense of the word (Port Townsend already has a lot of charm & this definitely added to it). I only had one night there, but I’m already planning to go back for a week, & I will always stay here. I totally loved this Inn...it is adorable!!
Cons: I liked everything!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good. Staff was really nice.
Cons: 1. I booked two nights. I had to leave at 6:30 in the morning on the second day due to medical reasons. I returned the key and emailed that I wouldn't be staying the second night. I was disappointed that I didn't receive any money back from the second night since they probably rented it out to someone else. 2. The walls in my room were very thin. I had to listen to two infants babbling away loudly until 10:30. I would pay a little more and stay somewhere else next time.
6.3 Good
Pros: For a continental breakfast, it was ok.
Cons: The noise level was terrible! People above us were stomping around very loudly for hours past 11pm, even after we complained at the desk about this! The water in the hot tub was not very clean!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in the older section of the motel right next to the room where Officer and a Gentlemen was filmed in back in the early 80's. Large room, nice view right on the water. Clean. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was very small, tight fit in the stand only shower. No a/c. Good location just down from the ferry terminal and downtown.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Love the location. I go to Port Townsend a lot and I always thought that this business was at a perfect spot. The view of the sound from every room is great.
Cons: I was put in an upstairs suite. It was near 90 degrees and upstairs are hotter because heat travels up. No air con and no screen on glass door. I opened sliding door in desperation but wasps were trying to come in the room so had to close it. Only a small fan that was very weak was placed near bed.
6.8 Good
Pros: Wasn't aware of the movie connection until we got there. The motel section that we were in didn't match the 3 story hotel picture. I guess we got the booking.com section. The host that checked us in really tried to sell us on the fact that we could drive right up to our room. The brass keys on the giant plastic room marker added to the effect.
Cons: The motel section and the door that looked like it had been busted thru multiple times. Oh and the girl peeing in the bushes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super Location, quiet, view very nice, breakfast great. The staff was really nice, informative, continually made sure that your needs were met.
Cons: Shower was clean, but could use a little bleach and scrubbing in the corners of the doors, but this is very minor compared to the great stay we had...
6.8 Good
Pros: I liked the view , being right on the water being able to see water from our bed.
Cons: The room/facility needs updating. Having the patio rail right at eye sight was not enjoyable, if that can’t be changed put tall chairs on the patio
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice location
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Run down, no housekeeping, my room wasn't cleaned and I wasn't given an option to have it cleaned. I was to tired after a long work day to call the front desk and request a turn over.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location on the water is ideal.
Cons: The linens, towels, washcloths and carpet were horribly stained. Didn’t see the linens until in the morning light. Sheets had yellow stains all over—definitely not from us. So grossed out. For $290 a night this was a total ripoff.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed. Views and surroundings.
Cons: Hot, no Air conditioning.
5.8 Okay
Pros: My wife's sense of humor, we did not immediately chk out. Location near ferry, and dinner in Port Townsend
Cons: Where to start. Over priced by 100. Carpet stains, patio screen door with holes, flys came in. Tile on jet tub falling apart. Found a hair on the pillow case Seriously 245? Ive travelled around the world. Property is old and run down.
7.0 Good
Pros: Scenic and quiet. Lots of wildlife.
Cons: Rooms could be cleaner and deck is pretty worn. Doors stick.
