Not central position, less then 20 minutes to get in the center of Prague
Very welcoming staff who can answer to all your question about prague, room very clean(everyday new towels). It's possibile to have breakfast.
Breakfast was good, but I missed the soup
there was reconstruction near our room, the noise was annoying
Excellent staff at reception. I have to say the staff - working under enormous pressure from long queues of people waiting to check-in - are amazing. Always found them extremely polite and willing to help. Big bed room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Very decent breakfast in the morning with a really good variety to suit a range of different tastes.
Unfortunately, there are many things which need attention. The items listed below are fairly straightforward and if attention is given to them would turn this into a really good hostel/hotel experience. 1. Even with the rather mild weather during my stay, the room was far too hot and uncomfortable. You are only able to open the windows a very small amount, and therefore the air circulation is very poor. Rooms definitely require air conditioning or at least a decent fan. 2. I stayed here for 7 nights, yet my bed linen was not changed once. Cleaning staff came into the room daily, but all they seemed to do was top-up toilet paper and change towels. 3. Far too long to check-in - one can expect to wait half an hour up to 45 minutes to check-in. During my one week stay here, I noticed time-and-time again people waiting in long queues to check-in - sometimes 40 or 50 people waiting to check-in and only two people working at reception. I would suggest during busy periods at least 4 receptionists checking customers in. 4. Like many other customers, I paid for my breakfast. Customers are given tokens which they deposit in a box when entering the breakfast room. However, on numerous occasions, I noticed people coming in for breakfast who had clearly not paid. This is very annoying for those people who pay. Needs to be a better system put in place to ensure only customers who pay receive breakfast,
Good breakfasts outside.
Lack of air in the room. You can't open a window- only tilt.
The breakfast could be better, it's kinda basic and no changes of what's served from day to day. Same thing all over, same type of bread, yoghurt etc. But the price is ok for the breakfast so no big complant.
Well, the area the hostel is located in is a quite rough neighbourhood, not much to do around the hotel, just a restaurant outside. But we where there for a competition and didnt spend much time there, for the cheap price it's great.
