The staff were increasingly helpful and friendly, we felt really well looked after
The shower and the bed comfort, the best bed in the 2 weeks trip we had.
We stayed in room Boa Vista. This was a very noisy room. Sounds came from everywhere, outside (dogs, traffic, people) inside (doors moved by airflows, noise even from the room above) If I compare this room to for example the Suite at Hotel Cesaria, I choose Cesaria. Much better value for money. By the way: no balcony in this room.
Our booking through booking.com did not get throug. They fixed it quickly and even gave us an upgrade. Very good breakfast and nice location near the beach and bus number 8.
Room was a bit smelly. Adjacent street a bit noisy.
Nice, spacious and clean rooms, very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Small but sufficient pool.
Nice selection at breakfast. Regular coffee provided in flasks, but a coffee capsule machine also available during breakfast. Room was very quiet. I was in 'Brava' room, which had a terrace, so perfect for me, as a smoker. Very good wifi. Excellent restaurant food (thoroughly recommend the octopus carpaccio!!!) Hotel organised a taxi for me at 2h30 in the morning to get to airport, and the driver was exactly on time. Relaxing roof top pool bar (when open!) to enjoy the view.
I didn't like the location. I thought, being near a beach, there would be more activity, in terms of shops and restaurants/cafes/bars. No shops around, so obliged to pay hotel price for bottled water. The nearby beach restaurant/bar was the only place to eat or drink outside of the hotel, except for two other hotels. (It is a wonderful and popular beach restaurant/bar...thoroughly recommend it!) Insignificant niggle really...only tea bags available in room with kettle...no coffee! Pool bar not open on the Sunday when i was there, but great service when it was open on Monday.
