Overview

Ocean Blue & Sand is one of the Caribbean’s premium all-inclusive resorts. It is perfect for couple’s getaways, honeymooners, and summer vacationers. The resort is located just a short drive away from Marinarium Aquarium and Cocotal Golf and Country Club.

Over 700 suites are brightly decorated with modern furnishings. Guests can choose from junior suites, pool view suites, honeymoon suites, and more. All suites come equipped with a flat-screen television, a complimentary stocked mini-bar which gets restocked daily, electric coffee machine with free coffee, in-room safe, ceiling fan, air-conditioning, spacious bathroom, magnifying mirror, hairdryer, and whirlpool tubs. Select suites include iPod speaker docks, free high-speed WiFi, and private terraces with hot tubs. All suites are kid-friendly. Laundry service is available.

Guests can enjoy countless activities and entertainment options. There is a kids’ club on site which offers special activities for young children. A dive center offers scuba dive trips and snorkeling adventures. The onsite casino features slot machines and poker table games. Guests can relax in the hot tubs and two outdoor pools, complete with sundecks and lounge chairs. A 24/7 fitness center is fully-equipped with free weights, cardio machines, and exercise equipment. A luxurious spa offers a wide range of therapeutic services, including massages and facials.

Business travelers can utilize the business meeting center, which boasts plenty of space to host corporate events, conferences, and social gatherings.

All food and drinks are included and can be enjoyed at any of the eight on-site restaurants, two buffets, one coffee shop, and eleven bars.

Pros (+) The food was the best we've had at any resort. The grounds were gorgeous and staff mostly friendly.
Cons (-) We weren't aware that there were different levels of all-inclusive, which made some situations awkward. We were completely ignored at the villa marina and wonder if it was due to a lack of tip the first day (we were locked out of our safe). Also, any time there was an issue with our room (locked out of safe, remote needed batteries, etc.) it took several calls and lengthy time frames to get a resp...
