Staff were very friendly and the facilites were good
Spa not very well signposted and it took ages to get a coffee at breakfast
Love the spa, which is open to all hotel guest. Also the views around the hotel were lovely. Very good value for money
Checked in and was given room 231 in the excutive centre. The room was as cold as a fridge, even with the heating on!! It took over an hour, but after complaining to three different members of staff, eventually got moved to another room, which was far better. Beds are not very comfy, as they are two singles pushed together.
swimming pool, jaccuzi, sauna and nobody there just me and my boyfriend...
Excellent service from brilliant hotel staff!
Room was dirty, bathroom was old/worn
i loved the use of the spa facilities and pool it was a great way to relax
The only thing i would say is that it is not sign posted very well as you come off the M4 motorway, as you have a new roundabout built it would be good to have the hotel singposted form there.
Lots of facilities. Reception staff very helpful. Late checkout was good. Everything here - just a shame nobody has bothered to maintain it
Not well maintaned. Lots of mould in bathroom and swimming pool changing rooms. Sauna and Spa out of order, no sanitiser in gym.Damp patches on walls, ripped carpets - only one spare pillow (for a double?what's that all about!) Breakfast a bit of a shambles really, ok food but really understaffed and hard to get even a cuppa
Fantastic grounds, good parking, convenient for Reading.
Lack of air conditioning in the bedroom
Beautiful location and a very tidy and clean hotel. The staff are absolutely fantastic, very helpful, polite and friendly. You must stay at this hotel at least once.
The fact that when we checked out we were not charged for an evening meal as it was not on our bill although I stated that I still owed it. It was waivered by the receptionist.
Bland decor in the avenue/reception. Interior landscaping may perhaps improve the ambience.
