9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, quiet, dark, good bathroom/shower, hot water right away, etc.
Cons: Not much.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was PERFECT for our three day stay in Rennes. Being located so close to the train station made it exceptionally easy to do day trips to Dinan and Saint-Malo without a car, and it was still possible to walk to the Cathedral, Park Thabor and old town. There were lots of reasonably priced restaurants and bars near by and the station area was not seedy like it can be in some places. The room we had was on the small side but pretty standard for Europe, and wasn't an issue for us. Probably the only downside for us was the tiny refrigerator was really only there to keep the minibar contents coolish. It didn't actually chill anything much, and was too small to be useful to put anything in (we had been gifted a bottle of sparkling cider and it wouldn't fit). Would happily stay here again.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location next to the train station and the pillows and bed were very comfortable!
Cons: It felt like it was an express express clean...

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean busy hotel with convenient location near the station

7.5 Good
Pros: This hotel oozes old fashioned style. The rooms are large and comfortable. It’s the first time we’ve had an electrically adjustable bed which was a bit novel. Ample heating which made the room cozy. The pool is outstanding. Big, clean and heated with great massage jets, perfect! Excellent buffet breakfast too.
Cons: There was nothing we could fault.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and professional, the bed was quite comfortable and everything looked que the new.
Cons: The neighborhood. I think there was a party around yesterday, so it was noisy and I couldn't sleep. But one noisy night out of three (2 were very quiet) is ok.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel de Nemours Rennes, you'll be centrally located in Rennes, within a 5-minute drive of Parliament of Brittany and Thabor Botanic Gardens. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: On our final day the receptionist went out of her way to help us get a bus to the airport as all taxis were unavailable, due to travel restrictions in connection with a big race.
Cons: The incredible amount of noise from the street on Friday night, both traffic and partygoers were loud and persistent into the early hours of the morning. Avoid room 103, facing the street, if you want a good Friday night’s sleep. Saturday night ok!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Well located and very helpful, friendly staff
Cons: As the hotel was in the centre of town it got noisy at night with the window open
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location of the apartment was great, right in the center and quite close to the cathedral.
Cons: Access to the apartment wasn't easy... narrow stairs. Size was good but it smells a lot probably due to humidity...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This was a very modern and efficient hotel in downtown Rennes - I thought the rooms were quite small and a little quirky with the furniture at odd angles. Bath was fine and the breakfast room was very nice. The staff was small but very helpful. We were able to walk to restaurants and the city sights.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Do not book Honorine appartement for a good night sleep. First floor above a busy bar opened until 4 am. Kitchen not well equipped ( no wine opener, no shopping board, no ice bucket...)
Cons: Bad insonorisation in the bed room, bar terrace outside window open until 4 am. Collecting bins 5 am by loud truck. Cleaning street machine at 6 am. Not recommended for a good nigh sleep at the Honorine appartement.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: There’s enough space for three people and it’s very clean. It’s also very close to metro republique which made going to main train station for day trips easier. There’s good restaurants nearby and places to see are also walking distance.
Cons: We got the one bedroom apartment. It is separated from the main hotel so it means if u need something from the receptionist you have to walk outside and go to the other building. The stairs near the main entrace going up the apartment is very narrow. If you have big luggages this may be an issue coz u have to carry it all the way to your room while managing to climb up the stairs as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fab stay, very near to the centre of town, where there were many bars and restaurants to choose from, great nights sleep
7.5 Good
Pros: Great sound insulation of the rooms. Our room was on the road side but none of the noise made it to the room
Cons: Relatively dark room and far away from the city (but we knew that).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable room with air con and kettle to make tea or coffee. No milk however, but lady on reception was happy to provide us with a cup full of fresh milk. Good location for our onward journey to Saint-Malo Ferry next morning. Good buffet breakfast. For our evening meal we used the Buffalo Grill next door which was very good.
Cons: Not much except we could have done with a waste bin in the bedroom and some sliced bread at breakfast would have been nice. They provide a toaster but no bread to fit in it
7.9 Good
Pros: Good selection of continental breakfast
Cons: The location wasn't ideal being in a commercial area on a very busy road into the city however it was only a bus ride. There was a Bar and Grill and room service consisted of Domino's pizza. No tea or coffee facilities.

Pros: The hotel is very new and comfortable. Very clean and great value for money.

6.3 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: I asked about changing the date booked as a courtesy. It was granted without a fee or penalty during a telephone conversation and follow up email. When we arrived to check in, we were surprisingly charged 40 Euros?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast menu and choice.
Cons: Very little coffee and milk in room (only one small cup each and only one milk) and ONE pack of tiny gallettes (in Rennes?) Did not like the tablet of old-fashioned soap in the bathroom (much too messy!)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: For a city centre hotel this was extremely easy to find, well signposted from major roads. The parking, while limited, was directly next to/beneath the hotel with a lift to bedrooms and reception. The hotel itself was close to, but not on, major roads making it a quieter yet convenient place to stay. The breakfast exceeded expectations.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Parking facility and central to Rennes with many shops and restaurants close by.
Cons: Not being able to pay on arrival. I was in a rush in the morning.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was priced at 18 Euros each so was missed. Staff were very helpful. Hotel clean and presentable.
Cons: Definitely need Satnav to find the place even if been to Rennes before. B/F price very expensive.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location, Breakfast
Cons: No body lotion in the room. WC smells... Towels are old.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Food
Cons: Bath room, the floor is slippery.

Cons: Nothing was perfect for an overnight stop.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money if you are on route to Cherbourg or to the South. Chromecast included in the tv which was nice as we could watch some movies in the tv.
Cons: Area is a bit dodgy at night probably because of the nightclub just across the road. Staff doesn't speak English at all but we managed to understand everything due to the effort of the Receptionist. The room is very small and the A/C only blows cold air.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was generous and delicious.
Cons: The locals were very noisy in the street all night long
6.7 Good
Cons: There was a building problem with the bathroom, in that it the door became blocked by a poorly fitted basin draw which slipped open once the door was closed and as a result I was unable to enter my own bathroom. When I bought this to the attention of the manager, he considered it was me that caused the problem and offered me no alternative bathroom so had a whole day without a shower or unable to wash. Considering it was his builders error he handled the situation extremely poorly so I would never return to that hotel which was a shame as the hotel looked good from the outside and was clean with pleasant rooms and views. The manager needs to go for me to stay there again.

6.3 Good
Pros: The cleanliness, the room. the ease of access by car .
Cons: This hotel is both eccentric and bizarre in the items which adorn the common areas. The breakfast area was badly arranged, many clients were confused by the arrangement of provisions....the trays were in a cupboard, there was no English type tea, it was chaotically arranged, the coffee machine delivered chocolate and NOT coffee. The breakfast was expensive in comparison with other similar hotels in our experience The staff were off hand and casual, as if they did not care There was no sound for any English speaking TV channels in our room There were no clear directions to the city centre . The very small lift
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has it’s own flavour. It is a damn ugly building from the outside, but(!) all the picturesque bric-à-brac objects inside give it a distinctive flavour which I liked. The beds are nice and clean.. we walked to the city centre which will take you 20 minutes which was pleasant after a day in the car.
Cons: The shower is clean, but there was a smell coming from the sink. No biggie if you keep the bad room door closed.
7.1 Good
Pros: We were able to stay and wait after we had checked-out. Bus stop not too far from the hotel.
Cons: Location was a bit further out from the main centre than anticipated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Unexpectedly cosy and comfortable hotel in quiet area; friendly staff and excellent value for money. The rooms are simple but very comfortable and the staff was flexible and nice.
Cons: One thing that could be improved is that the reception is open during limited hours.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I discovered this quirky hotel a few years ago and it never disappoints! Very comfortable bed, good bathroom and very good value for money. The decor is always a talking point because it’s so quirky with posters, mannequins and collectors items everywhere - every corner tells a story! The breakfast room is a sight to behold with anything you could wish for on offer (although I eat gluten free so I can’t indulge unfortunately!).
Cons: The receptionist in the morning was a bit sullen but accommodating once I got him chatting.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quirky hotel with nice bar
Cons: Tiny rooms but nice and clean

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very silent and cozy place next to station. Excellent place to sleep and be ready to travel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant modern decor . Very central location for old town . All staff we had contact with were extremely friendly and helpful . Room well-lit . Liked the good use of space and plenty of sockets , roomy shower and shower gel provided .
Cons: Could only turn main lights off from one point , lights over beds far too bright . Mattress was quite narrow . Room was a little cramped but , to be fair , that could’ve because my travel companion tends to just put things down in a completely random manner . Mattress had right amount of “ give “ in it but was quite a bit narrower than the bed itself so tended to slide towards the edge of the base and eventually I felt as though I were about to topple off the edge of the bed . Thought breakfast was good but a little expensive .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, basic and affordable. Location is good despite the area is being renovated.
Cons: Few parking options. There is a huge underground parking but is relatively expensive.
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean ,helpful
Cons: Could not find
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The team on site was really nice and helpful. The breakfast and pastry were cooked on site which give a really nice morning smell of fresh croissants and the madeleines were really an addition bonus! We also wanted extra towels, an ironing boards, a letter to be posted, all was provided within seconds and all requests were fully satisfied. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant! (I also forgotten my phone charger which they found for me and kindly gave to my friend in the afternoon!)
Cons: The hotel is surrounded by lost of road works but as soon as it will be finished it is going to have a fabulous entrance area for sure! Nothing to do with the hotel it's just the town refurbishment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: English speaking staff were very helpful
Cons: No tea or coffee facilities in the rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Most things - but the coffee wasn't free
Cons: The road system and signing to the hotel are promblematical

Pros: Well run - all in working order and seemed 100% clean. Staff were helpful and friendly - particularly Moussa who made our late/tired arrival much easier with his helpful and relaxed attitude. It was convenient for us as a stop off en route to Mont St Michel from the Limoges area. The car park seemed quite good - not gated but right outside the rooms. The breakfast was extremely good - a high quality buffet with plenty of healthy options.
Cons: Just one word of caution - it could be difficult to navigate to it without a SatNav: google maps took us straight there through what seemed like a complex route involving a few dual carriageway junctions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly reception employe. Clean room. Know time for my taxi
Cons: No thing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A small hotel with excellent location for those who travel on vacation. It is not in the city center that allows avoid had traffic when exiting and returning to the hotel. There are commercial centers nearby.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really liked the hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but clean and the beds are very comfortable. No AC, which usually isn't a problem I understand, though it got warm during the Indian Summer of late September. Keeping the windows open for a fresh breeze was difficult because of street noise below.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Small rooms

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is pretty nice, just outside the train station, easy access to bus station to mont saint michel which is next to train station, friendly staff. Some nice restaurants nearby.
Cons: Breakfast seems overpriced, but it's optional anyway, so it's acceptable. A bit far to the city center by foot. No ceiling light in the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We were happy with the quiet room and the size of the bed. The bathroom was clean but a little small to maneuver around. We would stay there again.
Cons: Being "English" we enjoy Tea. A sachet of milk powder/milk in the Room would have made a cup of tea/coffee more enjoyable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was ok - takes a good 10 -15 minutes to walk to the main bars and restaurants.
Cons: Managed to park close to hotel on main road with reasonable pay & display charges but be warned - the birds in the trees above make a real mess on the car!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice and friendly English speaking personal. Clean
Cons: shower cabin is a bit small, tricky to get in and out. the rest is fine, but I didn't take the breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: It was very close to the center and the hotel offers parking for 10€/day (parking outside near the hotel is extremely expensive).
Cons: The room was small (but bathroom was okay)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful. They let our grandson store some extra luggage he didn't need in the room until check out time which was so very helplul. The location was excellent. We would stay there again.
Cons: The only drawback was that the elevator broke down and we had to walk up to the fourth floor which isn't easy for my husband. Since we live in Spain we're used to the hotels having a bit more of a substantial breakfast but it was o.k.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and good place to stay. Very close to train station. Comfortable to sleep at night. Breakfast is simple but tasty.

Pros: Perfect location to discover Rennes, as it's in the middle between the old center and the newer part with a shopping mall. The hotel was renovating, so it's hard to have an objective opinion about it because of that.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff and early check in
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reasonably located between the older city and the railway station, this hotel is modern and nondescript, but fit for purpose. The room was clean, there was no noise, and breakfast was satisfactory.
Cons: The garage was designed for cars with a modicum of maneuverability and visibility. I would recommend against trying to squeeze in anything recent of 5 meters or more, unless you're very familiar with it and at ease with screaming proximity alarms. Also, as the WC door opens inwards and the cubicle is not large, it might be a tight fit for some...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location for touring the old city. Room was very modern, Ikea-style.
Cons: Parking was very difficult in the hotel garage and we did not realize we were expected to make a reservation for parking.
9.6 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was quiet as it was at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden. It was not spacious but large enough and the bathroom was very nice. The breakfast buffet is good value. The hotel is very well situated: only a few minutes' walk from the Art Gallery and 5-10 minutes from the centre. Having parking available is a real asset! Staff were all very polite and helpful.
Cons: The access to other rooms ran right past the window so we could not leave it open.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Facilities to maybe dry clothing would be a big advantage, Motorcyclists having travelled 200+ miles in heavy rain, nowhere to dry clothing/boots/gloves Etc ready for the next day...
