Decent size room. Clean. Descent bathroom.
Well when booking the room it said free wifi. Well there was in the main hotel the Atlante. About two blocks away. Not in my room at all it being a sister of the main hotel. Went to the futbol match, my purpose for going to Rome. Eventually get back to the room getting ready for bed and around 3am the power goes out, hoping it was a city problem I plugged in my phone charger. Woke up for my complimentary breakfast and headed to the main hotel the Atlante. Told the employee at the front desk about the issue with the power being out in the room and that had to charge my phone. He said he will send somebody to fix it. Ok I'll go have breakfast. Head up to the sixth floor where many other guests are eating grab a plate check out the buffet, what a nice spread looks good. As I'm fixing my self a plate a hotel employee working the buffet approaches me and asks "are you a guest here, what room are you staying in?" Confused I start fumbling through my cell phone to show her my booking information. She then said " do you have a room key?" Oh yea pulled it out showed her the key. "Oh 601 the B&B". Feeling like some kind of vagrant after seeing no other guests were bothered I had lost my appetite. Head back down stairs ask the employee at the front desk if the power issue had been resolved he said yes. So I head back to the room, walk in still no power. I need to charge my phone. Ten minutes later a knock at the door an employee walks in opens some sort of cabinet with a key hits a switch and yay! Power back on an hour before I have to check out. So no wifi in my room. No power. And a spoiled breakfast. Not a great hotel stay, I'd say very bad. Off to check out no apologies, not that I really needed one. And they made sure to get the £7 city tax. I then went on my way. I would not recommend a stay here.
