9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful place with great food. Met nice people from all over the world and staff was very nice. Best part of the game drives was the off roading through river beds and sometimes just through the bush. We had the thrill of tracking a leopard and her baby and found another leopard with his kill in the tree eating as hyenas gathered below.
Cons: The wildlife wasn’t as dense in Sabie Sands as we expected and we couldn’t leave to go outside or back to room without escort due to resort not being fenced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The meals were simple adequate and delicious . Never left the table either underfed or stuffed with food . Exactly what one would expect from a Game lodge that does not try and be a boutique hotel as well . The game drives were informative and excellent and the drivers and spotters were excellent ambassadors for the Lodge . Fellow guests were also part of the enjoyment
Cons: Have to think hard and honestly cannot come up with anything
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We saw the Big 5 thanks to our really experienced guide (Omega, and tracker Tuso). The lodge overlooks a flowing river where there are hippos permanently, and is apparently part of a male leopard’s territory so we were fortunate to see him patrol inside the lodge area. There are also other activities such as bush walks, fishing that are available upon request. Good food and drink options, rooms are clean and well-furnished. Will return if we come back to the Sabi Sands area again.
Cons: Nothing much here!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A magical stay at Inyati. Staff were incredibly friendly and we had the most amazing guide who showed us the most wonderful time.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed at Elephants Plains and had a wonderful experience. Staff was really attentive to every single detail and really kind. Game drive was absolutely outstanding. We were really able to see a lot of animals and our guide was very professional and explained us a lot. Then the lodge and food was just perfect. We will definitely come back and we highly recommend it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great game drives with our ranger Chade and Tracker Life. Highly recommend this private reserve to see fantastic wildlife.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best place we have ever been. Exciting experience the afternoon game drive: the tracker and the guide have been wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable and the service very attentive. Pleasant breakfast and dinner.
Cons: The scheduled guided walking in the morning have been cancelled without any notification and they left us waiting for walking depart for 40 minutes until we have decided to ask further news (as we had asked at the time scheduled for depart at the reception and they confirmed the guided walk was going to have place in few minutes). The concern is due to the fact they haven't informed us promptly and proposed nothing as alternative activity despite the walk has been paid by us.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel staff is amazing. Our room (the honeymoon suit) was great and nice but air condition did not work (nights are still very cold early Sep and waking up at 5 am for the morning drive in a called room is not that pleasant). Our guide/ranger was OK but we had better guides in our previous private game reserves. Food was good, not amazing. Some meals were very good, some average. Leopards viewing is amazing.
Cons: For the huge money we spent we expected the air condition to work. They tried to fix it but with success. As I mentioned, Leopards viewing is amazing but the overall wildlife viewing was slightly disappointing. Many say that Sabi Sand is the best reserve for game viewing. As far as we can judge it is not! We saw many leopards, we got real close to them but other than that - not much to write home about.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing this place is amazing, magical and allowed me to see these animals so close and felt safe at all times. Elephant Plains was the highlight of my trip to South Africa
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff is awesome. Well planned out to get the most from your game drives. Stayed for two nights and had four amazing game drives.
Cons: Nothing. If anything at all it would probably just be the overall selection of food at meals but the quality was still great and they accommodated any dietary restrictions and requests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a luxury suite which was very comfortable with amazing views from our verandah, including elephants and other animals in the dry riverbed below. The game drives far exceeded our expectations with exceptional sightings of several leopards and a large pride of lions including cubs. We saw all of the big 5 and Darren and his tracker Chris gave us the most wonderful safari experience. We have travelled all over Africa on many safaris and our 3 night stay at EP was by far the best and the highlight of our South African holiday.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice private lodge, high quality game drives, good food and lovely atmosphere. Definitely a honeymoon to "Remember" :D
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Highly recommend! We were sadly only able to stay one night but were able to see the Big 5 within our two safaris. The food was amazing. The room was perfect and very comfortable. The staff were gracious and welcoming. 10/10

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is stunning feels like being in the bush. The bar facing the Kruger is an unforgettable spot. The dinner and the breakfast were included and very good
7.1 Good
Pros: It’s a beautiful setting and very well decorated rooms. The location in the Kruger is wonderful and you’re surrounded by nature
Cons: There was a problem with my initial room and they gave me the wrong room. They ended up placing us in a room very far away. Staff were initially unhelpful until we spoke to the manager
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Position and views
Cons: None
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is perfect, in front of the Kruger Gate. Facilities are good, breakfast is very good.
Cons: The place lacks some liveliness, is a bit too dark at night. Not all staff is caring and dedicated. Dinner has an o lot of variety, but quality also varies a lot. The room was a bit run down, the couch had many stains. I got food poisoning from something I ate on the first day, which made my second day unconfortable, to say the least.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing and well organized stay! Staff is wonderful, food delicious and airport transfers were smooth. The lodge is stylish and comfortable - a great way to relax and be off the grid (no cell service or wifi!). Game drives were fun - especially if you could go off-road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast location overlooking the river is excellent.
Cons: Had to cut short our stay because of Covid-19
7.9 Good
Pros: Great staff, great rooms. Fantastic views and so much game around the house.
Cons: I was informed we could do a guided walking safari (additional payment required, that is okay) but that was not possible. Furthermore it would be good to make it really 5 star, eg with daily fresh water bottles in the room when it's 42 degrees Celcius.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and wonderful staff. We felt welcomed during the whole stay. Great program to explore the park. Excellent food at dinner.
Cons: Tents/rooms could have a more accurate cleaning, despite the difficult climate and location.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful idyllic location, perfect for a relaxing holiday in the bush.
Cons: Some features could be upgraded but overall beautiful quality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Highly professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff - everything was possible!!! Will highly recommend and will be going soon again!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful olde world camp right on the river front. Rooms were gorgeous and had everything you could need, the beds were large and comfy and we loved the outdoor shower. Watching an elephant playing in the water one afternoon, from our room deck was the cherry on top! The staff were all fantastic as was the food, and they had arranged a birthday cake and singing one evening for my husband's birthday which was so appreciated. We had 2 guides both of which were phenomenal and we had excellent sightings in our 2 days there. I cannot recommend Hamiltons enough and hopefully will be able to return one day
Cons: Nothing! Although having a fire pit / star deck would've been amazing
