Staff is very friendly and helpfull, restaurant food has improved immensely since our last visit and is value for money.Location is great for visiting St Paul or Vence .Nearby is a wood where you can walk your dog.
Breakfast could have been a little bit better for the amount you pay.
Classic design, comfortable modern rooms.
Spartan breakfast with inattentive service, poor sound insulation between rooms.
the hotel has a gastronomic restaurant with an excellent chef, we recommend to people who has a good taste, best regards, Cyril Mambote, room 111
Hotel is cool with interesting art, tennis court and nice pool area. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. Small spa with steam room and a real sauna is also a bonus.
Hotel is beautiful on the outside but it leaves you cold inside. I felt it lacks some personal touch. Some staff even lack customer service attitude; for example, I was looking for a house keeper and run into a lady from the reception, and she just said to me ”I’m not a cleaning lady”. Nothing like ”What’s your room number, I’ll pass your message to the right person”. I got the impression that some of the staff behaved like they were working in an art exhibition rather than in a hotel. However, when I finally found the housekeeper, she was very nice and friendly. Also breakfast was pricey for what you get. You should also be aware that you need your own car because the access to bus transportation was difficult (reception could not even give us proper directions to a bus stop).
The location was great. Very close to St. Paul du Vence and very quiet.
There is no staff around after hours. We had a little emergency with our car when we were leaving for the airport at 4:00 am and there was no one around to help us.
