10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming staff !! And a very relaxing resort ... highly recommended;)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming staff SPA
Cons: The room was dusty
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The beach was super, uncrowded and nestled on the Arabian Sea.
Cons: The hotel has systemic quality assurance problems. This includes house keeping, restaurants, concierge and meet and greet. It needs an independent "mystery shopper" audit survey, the issues are simply too many to list here, but they range from poor service, to hygiene including health and safety issues.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities, location and staff were excellent
Cons: Nothing!
5.0 Okay
Pros: First the management is good at smalltalk and apologizes but finally the facts matter. The food and service at the three restaurants are good and the service at beach is excellent.
Cons: The experiences with the room spervice are the worst possible. Checking in the room there were barefoot traces and sand in the gangway to the garden. The carpet had disgusting stains, the floor of the shower was not cleaned. Staying 5 nights, twice there was no downturn service and we got no drinking water. Stains on the writing table were not cleaned, shower and the toilet also not cleaned. Obviously there is no quality management for the room service. Talking with the room service staff brought no improvement. Sorry to have to say it but Anantara standards don't apply to Al Baleed resort and such room service staff and quality manager deserve to be instantly fired
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service is extremely polite and naturally friendly from housekeepers to managers (special greetings to Simo from Al Mina bar from Zosia & Stefcia). A very beautiful beach, wide, clean with gentle sand. You can feel the omani spirit in a subtle way. Our children enjoyed the stay from the very morning until the end of the day.
Cons: It is not a cheap place but it is worth it. Try to avoid villas opposite the restaurant unless you like to watch people’s legs and hear the noises
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very realxing. Breakfast not too early and available until late morning with a varied selection. Lots of choice in vegetarian food. Generally well kept resort. Staff very friendly with a genuine effort to help.
Cons: Furnishings looking tired. Needs updating in areas sun as sun loungers

4.0 Okay
Pros: Nice beach, room was very big, clean with good service every day. Silk restaurant nice but expensive.
Cons: Unfortunately it is not clear from descriptions on booking that the hotel is an all-inclusive hotel. We would have not chosen it otherwise. From facilities it‘s not worth 5 stars. Super loud entertainment full day and close to our room as well till late in the evening. Breakfast is average, premium beach access only by special all-inclusive package. Pool area disappointing. Main language in the hotel is Italian (often not even English translations). We had as well to wait for our room till 5PM (check in starts at 2PM!)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was good and the location is perfect for vacation
Cons: not so many options for drinks and food at the beach bar
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beach and facilities; staff very friendly and helpful; nice pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed every minute. Nice architecture with spacious design. Pool area with plenty of laying down space. Wonderful wide beach. Very attentive staff and friendly welcoming atmosphere. Food was very enjoyable. Recommend the membership for Rotana Club - made the stay extra special and gives access to private beach area and dining options as well as discounts at spa. Ashok & Navaz kept our room spotless and helped with all needs related to and around our room. We could not try everything offered but loved the things we did ie spa, beach, walks.
Cons: Pool area was spacious with big pool but could be more idyllic with some Morell private corners and maybe some plants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff. Atmosphere. Quietness. Huge space. Walking areas. The beach. Swimming pool. Food variety. Drinks. Everything was perfect.
Cons: On d holiday day on last Friday, there was no alcohol serving. I did not get a notice. It was disappointing but under stable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff went out of the way to make us comfortable.Appreciate the kindness of servers at breakfast and yummy omelette by Chef Narayan.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The beach only
Cons: no activities at all & no guidance for the right places to visit ,no group activities. Marketing is very poor.It was weekend & the travel agency in the hotel was taking off , how come to have a weekend & the agency is not working during weekends!!....do we have to visit Salalah during weekdays & take off from work to make sure that the agency is working!!!! Also we wanted to rent a car from the company opened inside the hotel but it was also not working because it was weekend ,so it ended up paying almost double the price to ask to rent a car from outside & get the car to the hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Right by the beach
Cons: Good dull and over priced. We came for overnight trip in empty quarter dusty and tired and had no hot water inspire of numerous requests for repairs only sorted last evening. Discount on room price was not forthcoming and had flight to catch
7.1 Good
Pros: Location & beach club
Cons: Fire alarm wake me up in 8 am & no stuff or anyone to tell us what’s going on:))
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Airport pick-up was not possible so we get reemboursed for our taxi very Easily! The restaurant at the beach is very nice and tasty Pools and the whole hotel area very nice
Cons: Smell everywhere in the hotel of weihrauch!! And the smell of the AC in the rooms!! The retaurant in the hotel -food and atmosphere not nice at all. Swimming in the sea was not possible during our stay because of wind
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff at @ CRWON SALALAH is amazing. The Front Desk Team provides so good support, routes, infos, sightseeing tips and so forth. The breakfast is very good and the team is very observant that u do not miss a thing. Thank you!
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, clean, friendly staff.
Cons: Most rooms do not have balconies. No alcohol is served from 3-6; having known this beforehand would be nice so I would have bought more at duty free.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was excellent and the decor in the lobby was very nice. The beach area is very nice and there are towels and lines available. I liked the pool bar a lot.
Cons: This place is way overpriced. Everything in it (food and drink) costs way too much money. The hotel seems like it's showing its age in many ways. It's quite a ways from the city and the taxis are out to take as much money as they can. There are no bicycles available to rent and no shuttle (except for the airport) so guests are stuck overpaying taxi drivers. I had an Exécutive Suite with two balconies that had partial views of the sea. For what was paying, I expected better. The pub was a little sleazy with two Eastern European girls in short shorts singing karaoke for ogling drunk locals.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Booked a sea view room, however receptionist gave us rooms with very little side sea view with window above some machinery or AC's making so much noise. Despite telling her we booked online specifically sea view rooms she had many stories . We noticed there were clear sea view rooms even with balcony however the staff at reception tried to give us all other options. Don't advertise sea view so that I can then know not to make a booking. seems to me false advertising. Very disappointed!!! Food and drinks are very expensive, $13 a beer?? $6 for black coffee???
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were super clean and spacious and the staff was wonderful. Gorgeous pool area and restaurant. I would definitely stay again.
Cons: -

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Facilities
Cons: Bit far from city
7.9 Good
Pros: Pleasant surroundings, very clean and well-kept, a very comfortable bed and a good breakfast. The beaches and pools were also very good. The room rate was reasonable. The hotel is very pleasant in a great location but there were a couple of issues that let it down for me.
Cons: The lack of information regarding the need to book a table at the restaurant and the fact that the Horizon bar had a misleading sign that completely forgot to mention that it was closed to mere mortals like me on a Thursday and only open to Premium guests. I ate at the Lebanese restaurant nearby ( good food and value) and had a drink at The Island bar ( reasonable prices). The Al-Fanar didn't seem to want my custom or my cash. The hotel was totally geared to all-inclusive guests.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Comparing to the photos posted , its not as u can see it on the photos , its a bit old
Cons: Too much insects we couldnt even enjoy the jaccouzi outside our suit , staff have poor knowledge about the facilities, when u ask them they dont give u clear info , we asked for food after 12pm at the rest they said no u have to wait till lunch or go to the bar near the pool they will serve u small bites when we went they do not serve food before 3

5.0 Okay
Pros: The photos are not the real hotel. It is very old and the beach is so dirty.
7.0 Good
Pros: The aircon is very good, it doesn't blow on the bed, and it doesn't require a room card. So basically it stays on all day long if you wish so, and it's very nice to come into a cool room after being outside on the heat. The bed is cozy and provides excellent quality of sleep. The area is very quiet, you can sleep till 12pm without a single noise from outside. The hotel is bikini-friendly. There is a place for table tennis, free of charge, also beach volleyball (and people were playing). The pool is quite good, only I'd wish it were a bit deeper; anyway this is the first pool which was almost able to replace the sea for me, and it's a great achievement for a pool. There is decent amount of sunbeds, quality of them is just fine. Most sunbeds are located next to the umbrellas giving the shadow, and you can move the sunbed in and out the shadow. The food, though horribly expensive, has decent quality. Breakfasts are VERY good. Within 30 minutes of walk outside the hotel one could reach the local restaurants; most of them were closed though. There is not much opportunity to get anywhere else except them, so the guests are very limited in choice when it comes to food.
Cons: Everything is horribly expensive. I was continuously getting frustrated from the prices on food, coffee, drinks, everything. The diving center seems deserted. The person who was there could only get me on the phone with someone who actually offered something, and you don't get any advertising information like what are the dive sites, their maps, what kind of marine life you can see there, nothing of this kind, simply give us your money and come diving. The start of morning diving is 8am which is rather early, considering there is no dive spots with such marine life to be seen only in the mornings. The beach is rather far from the hotel and pool territory. Okay, far here means maybe 200m, but you need to walk it through the sand, and there is no infrastructure on the beach itself. This can be both plus and minus though, as it gives the feeling of the wild beach. However the view to the sea is not spectacular; a bit to the right side you can see a big loading dock, and it kinda ruins the view. The sea entrance is rather pleasant, there is a short distance of stones under your feet but nothing horrible. The lunch time and dinner times are not the best, you can get hungry between them and there will not be much to satisfy your hunger.
7.5 Good
Pros: A very relaxing place. Calm n quiet. Natasha was kind enough to give a good sea facing room. Rajeesh the staff at the bar made excellent cocktails for us. Overall a great experience n friendly staff.
Cons: Bathrooms should have healthfaucets as well

Cons: It is not a cheap place but it is worth it. Try to avoid villas opposite the restaurant unless you like to watch people’s legs and hear the noises
