Hotel Bergland is located in quiet environment although not far away from the old town and 15 minutes walking from the train station. The room was clean and breakfast buffet rich.
The room furnishing was minimal. Very little areas to put things on and without refrigerator. But it seems that it is typical for three-star hotels in Austria.

The hotel was nice, designed very well and comfortable. Breakfast was typical for Europe, nothing more nothing less. It was really close to the city center, about a 15-20 minute walk w/ shops and such to walk by. Staff were nice and helpful. It was a plus that they had wifi, it just sucked that we had to keep our door open to be able to receive signal, but not really a big deal.
My only negative would be the bathroom- the shower door had a gap which caused leakage and puddle on the floor. There also was a diff in floor height in the bathroom and room itself which caused us to stub our toes a few times.

This is really a lovely hotel. The owners very friendly and helpfull.The breakfast is excellent, It is just a 15 minutes walk to the city and in the surroundings you can find restaurants with very good food (ask in the hotel). Surely we would come back.

“The rooms were spacious and clean. A bit of a walk to the city center (10-15min) but quite convenient if you come by car. They have a private parking that costs 10€ a day. It is very quiet and staff was friendly. We did not have breakfast but sounded/looked nice. It is 7€ per person and all vegetarian dishes. We did not find a lot of good breakfast options in the vicinity so probably is a good idea to have breakfast there.”

Really good service for tips, parking, Salzburg-Card, etc. + Parking on private property for 10 euro per night + Daily fresh towels + Small fridge and a safe in the room + Key card instead of old-fashioned key”
“The hotel is close to train station and city center, so at any point we didn't need any public transportation or taxi. Room is pleasant, cozy and clean. We didn't have breakfast there (there were no lactose-free product), but there are many places for breakfast in a walking distance (like 10 minutes) opened on Sunday as well.”
