Room was comfortable. Bed great
WiFi not very good. Resort fee of $32 a day did not really provide much
A friendly place!
The staff, cleanliness and grounds
No coffee in lobby or any snacks! To get something in the morning, you had to eat the buffet. We were going on a boat trip, so just wanted fresh coffee and a small roll to start the day. They do have a coffee pot in the room, but no sweeteners, beside coffemate. We have stayed in the past and always had a continental breakfast included in our fees. Think this needs to be addressed, especially with the extra resort fees they add on!
Great place for family
Staff was great
Nothing
Room had a nice mirror and sink separate from bathroom, overall really comfortable and clean. Provided complimentary water, coffee with creamer, very beautiful front entrance and lobby along with pool and hot tub.
It's not very clear when check-out is, we went back to make sure we didn't miss any items and we were already checked out and housekeeping threw out everything. We did get two free beverage vouchers, but probably won't be back before expiration. Our window faced the pool and it was really loud in the morning, but fine for one night.
Great value for money and comfort
Great low key resort, two pools, outside areas, water front, clean and comfort
The heater (reversible air conditioning) is a bit loud
Gorgeous venue!
Love it there!
$35 resort fee
Nice hotel
Grounds were nice
Poorly managed, no hot water, did not clean rooms daily
Beautiful and well maintained.
Movie at the pool was very loud and we could hear it over our own TV. Waiter at Firefly restaurant had a bad attitude.
I loved the bed...it was very comfortable
To many people around our room smoking
This place is a glorified motel.
The main good thing about the hotel is location. Close to highways and pretty easy to get to other popular areas nearby. If you're not planning on staying in the room this place is fine, but I still think it's a bit pricier than necessary.
It's not really a hotel, rather than a motel. You pull up right to your room. The room was kind of dirty and had a musty smell. You are forced to pay to park your car overnight which is an extra $20 a day.
comfortable and accomidating
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a room upgrade to a room with a view of the pool in the 100 building which was perfect for us. The restaurant firefly was great... excellent dinner our first night there.
The Dana is a great place to stay for couples and families alike. The FireFly Restaurant has great food, the prices get higher in the evening so would recommend lunch if on a budget. The pool/area is next to the FireFly which makes it nice to take a dip and then enjoy a great lunch. Would also recommend paying the extra price for the Deluxe Premium Bay View room, great views.
The only thing I can say I didn't enjoy is that their were two weddings going on during our stay, which caused a wait at the restaurants.
Bed was really comfortable. Pool and common areas were well kept and clean. Pretty location. Good value
We were happy with the hotel for the price we got with booking.com, but if we had to pay the hotel's fee, we would have been dissapointed. Everything is ala carte, even for parking and internet services guests are charged an heavy fee. We were able to get the parking exempt due to being part of a wedding party. The hotel was clean and the grounds lovely.
Some of the front desk staff were not very accommodating. If you asked a question about things like the shuttle, you did not get full information, like the need to reserve a shuttle and they only run on the hour, etc. Make sure you ask the details if you need to know something. The restaurant food is OK, but can be very slow if you are in a large group and in a bit of a time constraint.
Great location (near Sea World and Coronado beach)
Rooms were sub-par...certainly not what one would expect for the money or for the relatively nice common areas. I have stayed in budget chain hotels that were furnished better and were not so shabby.
We managed to book a Deluxe Bay View room for 140 usd per night which is a great deal. Seems almost half of their regular price.
Closeness to Sea World and Beach. On the bay.
The hotel room had a crocked light outside the room and a light bulb out inside the room that was not fixed the entire week we were there.
Convenient to sea world
I felt it was not necessary for a guest to pay for parking when they were paying alot of money to stay at the hotel.
we were disappointed that the room did not have a balcony, the area is so beautiful no balcony made the room feel closed in. when the neighbor in the next room left early in the am, the closing of the door was extremely loud and woke us up abruptly..the doors are made to close when not held open and they close pretty hard at that.
The setting and water
Gift shop was very small and poorly stocked.
our stay was vary relaxing and the staff was really professional and infomative about places to eat or shop at im sure we well be back soon
