Location , family friendly, room service.
Better food and drink service at the pool. Better game room for the kids.
Location was great and like the new couch beds in the rooms. Also staff was very accommodating
Need better food options. Everything here is very expensive for less than mediocre quality. The newly named pelicans doesnt have that big of menu, only open until 10pm and is small. Red marlin also has a smaller menu, higher prices and breakfast is way to expensive. Need a "normal" restaurant for 24 hours. Gift shop closed for 30min at a time during their own business hours which is inconvenient. Not to mention a resort fee PLUS parking fee almost doubled your nightly stay price
The hotel was hosting a wedding reception in the parking lot with tents. These tents blocked our view of the bay. The worst experience was due to the wedding DJ that blasted a obnoxious base until late hours. Disappointing and disruptive night stay.
Amazing view
The hotel is right on the water. Our room was beautiful and came with a mini fridge which was nice to have drinks and snacks to put in. The restaurant was absolutely amazing! The surf and turf was outstanding and the service was perfect. We will definitely be back to this hotel!
Next time we would self park instead of valet.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Excellent service always.
Lighting in room wasn't good and exterior light didn't work.
Comfortable and convenient
Hotel was clean, pool area was nice, short drive to tourist areas like Coronado, downtown San Diego, San Diego zoo and Balboa park
Must drive to closest pharmacy if you forget to pack something. It wasn't far but I wish there were a CVS in walking distance
Juat awesome place
Expensive parking, resort fee added to my bill
The view was beautiful -marina right in front of hotel.
Room was moldy, smelly, single pane glass , so I was up most of night because of noise outside. Would not stay again -self parking was also $36/night
Location
Room was dirty esp. the bathroom. Was given a room in the 2nd floor above the lobby. Our friends who declined this floor and got a room in the high rise building had much better rooms.
the room was not well maintained the tub has some kind of paint over it and there was a massive chip out of it. I complained to the front desk, who would not let me speak to a manager. Therefore nothing was done to improve my situation and I have little faith that the overall issue of poor maintenance was addressed. this was in the "suites" section. I actually wanted to be in the tower and they moved us to these and said there were no rooms in the tower. So be sure to emphasize what room type you want.
Great, but could use a few upgrades to the rooms
I love the hotel overall and the on site restaurant/facilities.
The rooms could use a bit of upgrading, specifically the bathrooms need to be updated. the shower and shower hardware was not very clean or nice.
View, patio, comfortable bed, clean, no smell in room.
Paying for parking ($35 per night) $100 fee for my dog. One kind of fancy restaurant on the premises. Should have some place nearby where you can purchase coffee. We had to walk a bit to Einstein brothers which is a bagel place just to get coffee. They had coffee in the rooms but then you're using paper accessories like the cream.
The staff was extremely professional and courteous. The setting was beautiful and the pools were great fun for kids and adults. I also enjoyed the bar and my wife had a great experience at the spa.
They're not really dislikes but I would have liked to be able to charge our jet ski rental to the room and I wouldve liked longer hours for the water slides.
I liked the Red Marlin restaurant where the food was good.
To be honest its one of the poorest Hyatts I have stayed at - probably more 3* than 4* - extras everywhere - parking, internet, water etc - and just not sharp enough for the brand.
