Overview Reviews
Freshly renovated suites in 2017Hyatt House offers a different kind of guest experience with fresh service - inspired design - and comfortable luxury
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was pleasant, however I had to ask for extra towels 4 times before they accommodated is.
Cons: I didn’t realize the suite would be so tiny and bathroom would be so small too, as a family of 5 we could barely move around.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to BART station to go to SF, close to restaurants and supermarkets. Clean room & comfortable beds, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Would visit again when in area.
Cons: The hallways were not kept clean up to standard, some pieces of plastic were there for 3 days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely pool and good room facilities. Easy trip to great restaurants in Danville.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: big, kitchenette, clean, quiet, love the auto shades.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the location of the hotel. The bed is very comfortable and the room was very clean.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Property was very close to several restaurants. Location was really good for us.Our room was clean, bed was very comfortable, hotel was quiet. I enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again when I'm in the area.
Cons: I did not like the staff at check in, Young workers didnt engage much, I didnt even get my parking permit, I had to ask for it. Other than that, great hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We can to town for my mom's celebration of life. I was tired, sad, and weary. Front desk clerk was friendly, efficient and got our upgrade for very reasonable price. Breakfast next day was bountiful so that was restoring. We didn't have any time to swim as checkout was noon but front desk gave us a genorous late checkout at no charge so we could use the pool and hot tub for a little destrssing. Thank you Hyatt house for great front desk staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location, beautiful area. The staff is very friendly. Room and kitchen area were very clean. Breakfast smelled great, but we never got a chance to try the breakfast ! Had an emergency and had to leave very early a.m...Could not even take advantage of that later check out !
Cons: The jackhammers around the pool area ! First of all, had no idea there was reconstruction going on, as we booked it through booking.com. ( I actually thought I was booking it directly.) just wanted one quiet day away to celebrate a birthday. ...When we got there, the reconstruction notice in the lobby mentioned the patio area so we thought it would not be too bad, until we entered the pool area and the jackhammers were in full action ! Got earplugs, but it really didn't help much at that point. So if you're planning on using the pool, call the hotel directly and make sure they are completely done with this area !
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Big room. Good bed. Plenty of parking. It was 98 degrees at 7pm when I checked in; would it kill the housekeepers to flip the ice maker on when they finish making the room ready? Listing this in the positives as at least they had an ice maker and didn't make me use trays.
Cons: Location was a bit difficult to get to, as whoever master-planned the east bay is obsessed with divided roads and "No U Turn" signs. Waited nearly twenty minutes to check in as there was only one rep at the counter (7pm on a sunday when many business travelers are arriving) and he spent 20 minutes with one customer setting up future and extended stays while flat out ignoring the 5 of us in line just trying to get a room key. The lack of urgency, and willing to service one customer at the expense of 5x was startling. He easily could have asked the guest to come back down at a slower time to set up future stays, or heaven forbid, direct him to a place online to do so. Also, the towel rack was INSIDE THE SHOWER. Why not put it above the toilet like everyone else does? All the towels end up on the floor!
5.5 Okay
Pros: I like location, landscape, and front desk staff members.
Cons: The room was mole and took for long time to change to another room. The new room is right next to back door entrance and is interrupted sleeping by people trafficking with the door's noise. The room was booked for 4 people, but it had one bed, when I asked and been told there is a sofa-bed for 2 extra people. I stayed for 1 night and hotel agreed charge only for one night, not 2 and asked me to contact booking.com for this issue. I am not satisfy with this
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was nice. Fruit and omelette were very good.
Cons: There was a dirty band aid on the floor and a bug behind the kitchen faucet. I was a little nervous to sleep in the bed because those two things mad me wonder if the sheets had been changed. The pillows were very uncomfortable gave me a crook in my neck that turned into a migraine.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property is very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were wonderful and very attentive.
Cons: Would like units to have 2Qns rather than only Single Kjng.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary at scheduled times.
6.8 Good
Cons: I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, it’s my favorite hotel beck travel with kids . They enjoy the room with the patio that faces the mania so they can watch the planes go by. The room they provided this trip faced the parking lot, not what I paid for,and had no patio, also not what I paid for. Maybe its time to find a new favorite hotel
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff was excellent.
Cons: Mattresses could have been better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fresh cookies in the evening
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and super comfortable beds
Cons: If I had to choose anything bad I would say that I wish there were more protein options at the breakfast. I am not one for hard boiled eggs.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The location is nice but far away from places of interest.
Cons: I made a reservation for 2 rooms: 1 king deluxe, and 1 queen deluxe. The rooms had a full bed, not a king, not a queen. I came in one day late, and from 398 dollars they charged me more than 800 dollars. I talked to the manager, and told him if the rate had changed from one day to another, I would pay for what I got: two rooms with 1 full bede each. They were not helpful in any ¡way. They did not respect the price -which I could understand- but for 2 standard rooms with one double bed that I had to share with my son, and my friend with her daughter, I thought the price was a scam.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just really clean, and the staff was very nice.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Thank you this is one of the best hotel I stayed staff makes you feel at home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ok
Cons: Was unable to change date i put fri.unstead of sat
7.5 Good
Pros: We got two adjoining suites for my daughter’s birthday. The rooms were clean and comfortable once we figured out how to turn on the air conditioning.
Cons: The size of the pool was a little disappointing but I was happy there was one.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel provided a safe place to stay, I felt very safe. It was very clean and it was evident by the sight of staff continuously maintaining the property. The room was also very quiet considering the amount of traffic in the area.
Cons: The back door entrance was broken and opened without a keycard . Lack of outside seating which was missed. A few stray cats seem to live at the dumpster. Housekeeping also failed to fill the in room coffee selection.
7.5 Good
Pros: Check in was easy.
Cons: If you expect no cracks in the corners then this isn't the place for you. We are two teachers travelling with our 13 year old son. We want clean, decent and a good value. That is what we got.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They compensated for the dirty room.
Cons: It was renovated but still had a old feel and wasn’t clean. Parking was horrible and noisy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: In-room amenities. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. Special requests, like no-pet room due to allergies, were accommodated. Front desk staff friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was just all right - bagels were cold, muffins too small, only one pitcher of orange juice (always running out). Cleaning staff chatted too much in hallway and forgot to clean the room; night desk clerk had to come up and pick up dirty towels. There were four in the room, but towels provided were only for three people; everyday!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We called ahead because we would be checking in later than their 3 pm time. Staff was kind and wrote notes. Called later to confirm as it would be past 11 pm and manager was kind and said no problem. Hotel was sold out that particular day and we were traveling with another party - we couldn't be next to each other as we didn't realize we booked slightly different room styles but it all worked out. The breakfast was great, the kids like it and had many options. Staff were helpful and very kind.
Cons: parking, it was crowded and just didn't feel that secure as there was shattered glass in two spots that I was going to park in and moved when I saw that. When you aren't from the area you want a sense of security and it didn't seem as though anyone truly looked out for cars being taken care of, etc.
6.3 Good
Pros: Room and Diner facility were amazing
Cons: Receptionist ( Aleck M. ) were not very Helpful at all ..
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast included good selections.

Cons: Bed in a different place to wear the TV monitor was (even though you could adjust the direction), but not that big of a deal. use to watching TV in front of bed and not on the side. Otherwise, no complaints and will return again in the near future.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was Definitely delicious. They had fresh pressed fruit drinks available, and my strawberry mango was off the hook. They had scrambled eggs Sausage and French toast as the main breakfast items along with your cereals, oatmeal's bread pastries and muffins as well Fresh fruit. The make your own waffle station was delicious with 2 different flavors of waffle mix. along with all the toppings. that took care of my sweet tooth craving. Bed was comfy and everything was nice and clean.
Cons: the milk at breakfast was warm. YUK...needs to be ice cold for me to drink.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: The pool and spa was closed due to repairs, very disappointing, it was the reason we booked the hotel so we can take our granddaughter swimming . Nobody informed us about the pool being broken, and we were not offered a discount because we booked with a third party. I was very upset.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: no.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is what you would expect. Better than muffins and cereal, but not gourmet. Even with the airport close, I didn't hear the air traffic, in my room.
Cons: Dinner, in the bar, was expensive, for the microwaved burger. The nearest restaurant is far enough away, we didn't want to journey out to find one.
6.8 Good
Pros: I think that the staff was bright and really sweet. Lots of praise for them. Though it’s literally next to where planes take off, I heard incredibly little. I was dumbfounded and impressed. The key card worked every time.
Cons: The (king size) bed felt institutional; firm and soft and creaky and wrong. The air conditioner was whisper quiet which I found annoying because it left the room so quiet any thing was noise. Even the paddles in the ac unit clicking back and forth with no pattern - if that’s even what it was. The room next door seemed louder than they probably were but it was next to the headboard so I didn’t have a lot of choice. Except get the sleep I can, poor as it may be/very much was. I would maybe return if there was a nicer bed option, I’d just bring my own fan which is fine by me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Facility is clean, friendly staffs
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Cleaning staff tried to enter our room at 8:30am even though we kept telling them that we were still in bed, they insisted in getting in our room. Lucky for us though that we decided to use the inside lock or they would have entered our room!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is close the airport, right on the water and new construction with everything new. Spacious rooms. Free bikes to use.
Cons: New construction next door
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room we stayed in was 323 and was located in the corner therefore we had two windows in our room. This made a big difference for me as the natural sunlight came into the sitting area. Breakfast was great. I enjoyed the fresh waffles in the morning with coffee and my hazelnut creamer. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I needed a blanket and the person at the front desk stopped what she was doing and gave it to me before I could even step foot on the elevator. My family and I stayed three nights and after returning from our adventures in the city we came home to a fresh and clean room.
Cons: I would say that in a suite you could put in real cups and saucers for coffee or hot chocolate. I did bring up three cups and saucers from the dining area to use throughout our stay. I myself just don't like drinking out of a paper or plastic cup with that being said a set of four drinking glasses and wine glasses would be nice as well as a corkscrew for those who like to unwind with a bottle of wine. All these items could be kept in the cupboard by the sink. No remodeling needed and with these items the price of the room shouldn't have to go up. I do a lot of traveling with my mom and she is 90 years old. My mom is very mobile and uses a cane to get around. The problem we encountered is the height of the toilet. I did not measure the height but im thinking they are under 17 inches anyway they are very low and it makes it difficult for some people to get up from the toilet. Please understand you don't have to be 90 to have this problem. We were told the Alameda facility would be going under renovation and I do hope you take the height of the toilets into consideration when remodeling as this would make a lot of people happy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoy satiating at your hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent greeting on arrival and by other staff members. The breakfast was above average but the sausage was not, or maybe it’s just my taste
Cons: Sausage
7.7 Good
Pros: The room was large the bed was clean and big
Cons: The carpet was dirty.

Pros: Property was in a good location and beer and wine at happy hour was nice
Cons: Needed an extra blanket. Called at 5:30 pm for one. When we got back to our room at 12:45 am just wanting to go to sleep there was no blanket. We callled and there weren’t any left. They did provide a couple of thin bedspreads, but they weren’t as good as a blanket.

Pros: Friendly staff, size and layout of suite was great, ease of check in, breakfast buffet

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Residence Inn is in San Ramon to our opinion best value for money if you look for convenience and space, and do not need high end hotel facilities. Large rooms/studio's including small kitchen, nice staff, convenient location, sufficient (free) parking space, near shops and down town, good highway access (25 minutes to down town San Francisco without traffic; can go up to 2 hours during rush hours). Beautiful scenery around San Ramon with nice hiking options, nearby Dublin and Livermore wineries, cozy Danville or Dublin downtown areas with nice restaurants and bars, shopping in Walnut Creek, and outlet mall in Livermore.
Cons: Breakfast (free buffet) ends a bit early for holiday makers. Otherwise nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything. I could sit in the living room and watch tv or get some work done without disturbing others. The location is great. We could walk on iron horse trail and walk over to nearby restaurants. The place is well designed and clean.
Cons: The tub faucet leaked and we had to put towel on the floor. There are no elevators so it is hard if you can't carry heavy luggage up the stairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was great! The double room was perfect and accomodated my grandchildren , daughter and me..
Cons: No complaints
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the little details thought about in the bathroom and the kitchen area. Also, best breakfast in the world!
Cons: It was unfortunate, but the night we checked in they had a leak somewhere on the property that required heavy duty maintenance. The staff told us that the water would be turned off the next day from about 10 am to 3 pm. Getting in so late that night, was really looking forward to a lazy morning; which didn’t happen because all showering had to be done before heading over to breakfast. I know it was not done on purpose, but we were not the happy campers and luckily we had someplace to go when all the water was shut off.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The size of the room was good. The common area was nice. The location was good. The room was quiet at night.
Cons: The 'full' kitchen contains a stovetop and microwave, but no oven. The front desk person was not very helpful.

Pros: Rooms were set up with just the right amenities. Mini fridge and microwave was best. Beds were made well. pillows were nice - it looked pretty fresh and clean. But I noticed the bed skirts needed a little more wash and a building exterior paint job would be cool. Other than that it was pleasant. Both front desk staff were courteous and accommodating- thanks! 2 popular fast food dining across the street and authentic chines restaurant next door pricey but good -Vietnamese crawdad restaurant (did not get a chance to try) and Peet’s coffee bar. Great location.
Cons: No fault of the management- the guest staying next door on my first room were unruly and had too many guests coming and going. I requested for a different room and clerk accommodated me. Thanks.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was the key. The Staff, when I checked in was awesome. Being with the military, I was given a 10% discount with the already discounted per night price. I would stay again at this location. There was a "next-door-restaurant, they have a great pool for those hot days/evenings.

Cons: Could of been cleaner floor

Pros: The view is the ONLY thing good about this hotel! Breakfast was ok. We stayed here two years ago and it wasn't the Hilton but it was good for the price, this trip the room was disgusting- we'll never come back!
Cons: The room was filthy! Carpet was gross, bathroom floors were nasty. Trash cans were broken. Our room cards didn't work, neither did the tv. The view was beautiful but don't stay here and if u do, bring slippers and your own pillow and blanket.

Pros: Location was nice and secluded with a view.
Cons: They had to move me between 3 different rooms. The 1st hadn't even been cleaned before giving me the key, and no phone in the room to call and clarify so I had to walk back to desk. The 2nd room the tv didn't work. The 3rd room didn't have working remote.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Room like old cigarettes. The door lock didn't work so had to go to front desk every time. Waited 20 minutes to check in at 7pm. They didn't refresh the coffee or shampoo 2nd night. Ceiling was sagging and stained. Carpet fraying. No fire sprinklers.

7.0 Good
Pros: Location was perfect...room was clean and no carpet....which makes itseem much "Cleaner."
Cons: Staff was GREAT, and evan though they were in the process of remodeling....were very accommodating. THE MATTRESS WAS HONORABLY UNCOMFORTABLE...MY WIFE AND I HAD BACK ACHES FOR TWO DAYS!!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Pool was a little small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: quiet, comfortable, good rates
Cons: Not having anything in the room and taking time and expense to find a grocery store for buying cups, spoons, forks, knives, plates, instant coffee and other things then figuring out the next day that you have to ask for it at the desk, then you have to make several trips hauling it all to the room yourself (no containers to put anything in). You should have the person who checks you in go through all that and have housekeeping deliver it or better yet make it part of the reservation so it is there when you arrive. My leg and back were sore and I didn't like having to take the time and energy to do this but the front desk person was alone and couldn't leave the front desk and said there would be no housekeeping to bring it up that day or the next (really?). The garbage room where everyone throws their garbage since there is no housekeeping was filthy and stinky like going to the city dump when I found it and housekeeping was non existent for clean bedding or towels the whole time. That is just how it works and knowing that ahead of time to ask for everything and planning for it will help you if you are dumb like me and don't know already.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Bed was nice.
Cons: I didn’t really have a good visit it. It smelled like wet dog and cigarettes. Plus there was not restroom for the “public” I showed up at 235pm and she said I couldn’t check in until 3pm. So I had to walk across the street to a Costco to use the bathroom. Even though I’m not a member...they let me in to use the restroom. It was just poor customer service. I wasn’t even buying anything at Costco and they let me in to use the restroom.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Oh where do I begin? Filthy rooms. A manager that makes promises, lies and doesn't follow through. Isn't that enough? Don't stay here.
Cons: Rooms are filthy and broken. Manager lies.

4.3 Okay
Pros: Location only
Cons: I was assigned a room that was occupied by another guest, I opened the door, to my surprise there was a guest in it, I may have been shot. When in informed the lady at front desk, all she said “I AM SORRY “ I waited 35 minutes in lobby with another guest before someone showed up. I tried to call the number listed on their business card, hoping someone will answer to alert them about my presence in lobby but I got a recording saying this number is no longer in service. Water pressure very poor Lighting is very poor for two of us, there was a very little shampoo bottle, no conditioner. And guess what, they claim. To serve breakfast, their breakfast consisted of natural valley bars, small muffin,(I only saw one) and coffee with no cream, only sweetened cream, When you take the elevator up, no room directions Our room smelled cigarettes although I asked for non smoking. I can go on and on This is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Affordable. Clean. Directions for air/heating.
Cons: Pillow. Need a firm and a soft. An extra blanket.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The room had spiders and spiders webs in the windows and in the room. The curtain closet was missing hooks on it so the curtain was hanging. But it was a good stay.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Horrible.staff wasn't atofffice.had a small room which was overpriced and I didn't have a key to my room.cojldnt leave the room.no breakfast. Never stay there again
Cons: Everything!
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: when we arrived, it took over 5 minutes before we saw anyone at the front desk. When a woman finally showed up she informed us she was “not on the clock” and the person who was, was in the bathroom. She then went to the back. A few minutes later, someone finally showed up. Both women were dressed in oversized, bright green “company” t-shirts which looked completely unprofessional. It took SEVERAL minutes to check in due to their matching not reading my drivers license correctly. The lobby was small and uninviting. The room was worse. It was VERY dark and dingy. Paint was chipped in several areas of the room...the same for the laminate in the countertops. Carpet was stained. This is definitely a more run down hotel in desperate need of an update.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The service the front desk lady who checked us in was really rude and seems like she didn’t know what she was doing .

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location was the best part of the experience.
Cons: The hotel wasn't as clean as I'm use to when staying at hotels especially one that resides in such an upscale community. The hotel "Needs Major Renovation"!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was satisfactory
Cons: There was garbage on the walkway entering the building upon arrival. Next am still there. Evening return garbage was still there. When checking out housekeeping was walking around garbage, tunnel vision! I then proceeded to check out and mentioned this situation to office, she seemed to be oblivious to the situation. Very sad.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location
Cons: No service at front desk. There were no cups for water in the room. The air conditioning unit was not working. The staff did not take any steps to fix it. Stayed through the night in cold.
