8.0 Excellent
Pros: We requested extra pillows and 3 spares were provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Torre Del Conde is a great place to base yourself for a walking holiday.Excellent location for port, bus station, shops and local tapas restsurants. It is very well run, very clean, nice freshly cooked food for evening meals, very helpful, friendly staff. I have stayed here 3 times and will go back in future.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast buffet was good and great roof terrace. Lovely colourful stairwell
7.0 Good
Pros: We paid extra for a room overlooking the Torre and the park. Well worth it. Evening sun. Lovely views to mountains.
Cons: We don't normally write reviews. This is our third stay. On all our stays the bed has creaked [when just turning over in it!]. The water pressure changes [presumably as other people use it]. That's not an issue but with it the temperature changes from too cold to too hot, which is an issue. It's an OK breakfast that shows all the signs of cost cutting. The packet jam is horrible. Cereals, hard boiled eggs, cheese, ham, frankfurters, cakes and Spanish omelette are the main offerings.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic view to the park, very good breakfast, clean, quiet, very comfortable bed and in walking distance to the harbour.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, as usual, and we loved the convenient location for the night before rejoining our yacht in the local marina. Staff all really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing to comment on.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location near ferry
Cons: Breakfast was very poor. Large party of German tourists had eaten it all.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic. The gardens and pool were the perfect environment in which to unwind.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular location perched on top of the cliff overlooking the harbour and fantastic views across to Tenerife and Mount Teide. Staff were friendly and accommodating giving us plenty of advice to help us explore the wonderful island of La Gomera.
Cons: We arrived fairly late in the evening and were looking to have just a light bar meal (rather than the full dinner menu). In the end we ate in the bar from the main dinner menu which was quite expensive.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location ! The patios
Cons: The restaurant is over priced and the service is poor.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Met our expectations as we stayed 6 years earlier. It was always likely that we would return at some point. It takes more effort to get to La Gomera than most of the other islands in the Canaries so is perfect for anyone wanting a complete chill out, away from crowds, wonderful mountain scenery and lots of options for quiet walks.
Cons: Not much of a whinge but like most paradors and hotels outside the UK it lacked some of the simple but inexpensive comforts which we always appreciate - no kettle, tea or coffee in the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome views , very good breakfast and dinner!
Cons: My creditcard was charged when i booked , this was not according booking terms , the right terms were paying in the hotel by arrival !!
6.3 Good
Pros: A lovely building with beautiful courtyards and public rooms, nice grounds and very helpful receptionists, especially the more mature male receptionist. The mature female waitress was very nice.
Cons: * The intrusive noises from the port of San Sebastián, especially the noise from cruise ship engines, with constant idling engines and pollution emissions! (So sad as it could be a very tranquil hotel!) *Caged birds: parrot and parakeets. *A sullen and uncommunicative male waiter.

7.0 Good
Pros: Reception staff and room
Cons: Breakfast wasn't very good
5.8 Okay
Pros: Stayed twice in 15 days and facilities ok for overnight stop - except they need soap for handbasin, not sachets of shower gel for washing your hands. First visit only saw uncommunicative male receptionist but on second visit there was charming female one, so score is an average for both.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The check in man was helpful and friendly. He guarded a parking space for me while I collected the car.
Cons: Breakfast only starts at 7.00am I had to catch a ferry at 7.30 so missed it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff at great location in SAN Sebastián
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: Completely blacked out windows seemed very strange. Especially give the sun is a key draw of La Gomera. A lot of noise came from the street also.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spotlessly clean on arrival and when made up during my stay. Housekeeping staff were happy and friendly. There was a high-tech 'Do Not Disturb' facility on the room door and the whole interior of the room and communal areas décor/finish was modern. The property benefits from a lift, and stairways with underfloor lighting. I would describe the breakfast as a cross between a low class bistro and a greasy spoon café, but I got what I paid for. My advice would be to get there earlier rather than later in the serving period. I have no complaints for the price. So I will put it in the 'Like' column.
Cons: 1. No bedside cabinets. There was a stool available which I used for that purpose; then otherwise nowhere to sit except on the bed. 2. Which leads to the bed - there were a load of electrics directly behind the pillows. These controlled the protruding bedside light, phone, a/c and TV. Understandable I suppose as nowhere else to sit but it all got in the way at night (especially the light). I accidentally hit it at least three times when turning over. 3. The shower in itself was great but the sachets of shampoo and shower gell were exceptionally resistant to being opened. I had to try all of the available ones before managing to squeeze the contents out of approximately 1mm of opening. There must be so much wastage.
