Hotel Santa Catalina was heaven on earth. It's not easy to get to, but that makes it all the more magical and special. The hotel is rustic, well-kept, beautifully set, - essentially the Ritz of Santa Catalina. I went to Santa Catalina on a journey of self-discovery. The setting here, as well as the ethereal beauty of Santa Catalina, far exceeded my expectations.
Infinite pool, good restaurant, big suite
The junior suite had some insects, lezards inside, but this is common on this area
We loved staying in hotel Santa Catalina. It was right next to the surfing beach (short walk) and a short walk to the Centro. The room was so clean and had a little area for having a few drinks and snacks outside. The staff are so friendly. There are lots of games you can play beside the restaurant e.g. chess, bingo, pool, darts etc. It has a lovely view of the more experienced surfer beach too. We loved our stay here.
Nothing really! The food was a little expensive for us but there are loads of alternatives close by e.g. Mama Ines, Jammin pizza. Although the food did look amazing in the hotel! Pool is a little cold too but on a very hot day it would be a lovely respite!
Nice pool, very good restaurant, beautiful view and free use of boards, bikes, etc
Very rude and unhelpful receptionist and extremely rude and unwelcoming waiter. When we unformed the receptionist that there was no hot water for the shower she said she cant do anything about it and because it was hot it’s nice to take a cold shower. She said the same to our neighbours. Also our room wasn’t cleaned, her explanation was that we should have “signaled” it. There was nothing mentioned like that when we checked in nor was there a sign in the room to “signal” this and we would think for that price, daily cleaning should be a given. It was also very disappointing that at 9.50pm on a Saturday night, we were informed with a rude “no” that we can’t get a drink at the bar after coming back from dinner and play pool. We left this beautiful property unfortunately with a very bad impression and we would rather use another property, which we previously used to enjoy Santa Catalina.
Great breakfast and fun place to stay
