The meals always exceed your expecatation, spaghetti one night, a barbecue the next, the staff here know how to cook you a good meal!
Maybe could be a bit more clean, but thats just me being critical
The breakfeast is really good. The hostel is close to a subway station and there are people from all over the world here and the're really cool.
There was an infiltration in my room. So, in the rainy days, I could see drops of water from the ceiling.
the food was great to have breakfast and an evening meal, the paid staff were really nice, except for the night staff, good value for money, clean, kitchen staff were really pleasant
The night staff, one big guy with glasses arrived for the night shift smelling of drink and started a little party for himself with another guest, turning music up loud in the reception drinking, chatting loud, laughing, partying, I eventually asked him firstly what time it was, too see if he had awareness of the time, it was 12.45am wednesday morning, he was quite intimitating standing over me , very near, intense, saying yeah theres no problem with the music etc, he can do what he wants! I then asked if he could turn the noise down, he said he could, but reluctantly. I asked him if he could wake me at 5.30 as I had a flight and my fone had been playing up, he said no problem, he didn't. Another member of the night staff who I was talking to at about 1.30am after arriving late from a flight and leaving early in the morning, was talking really loud, so I was talking to him and was semi whispering as you do at that time in the morning, he said its OK you don't have to talk quietly they can't hear you upstairs, thats actually a fallacy, everything can be heard from the dorms.
1.absence of all lockers, very convenient !!! 2.nice old building . 3.presence of individual safe-boxes for all tourists, easy to use 4.best breakfast ever in the world in hostels and many hotels, included to price 5. free dinner, very seldom an option 6.quiet street ( see foto of row nice buildings near hoste include hostel)
