Terrace and room
It is not easy to park the car without paying, dirty area for breakfast.
It is good district and it is near the old town. It have a big shared terrace for the meal that is very welcoming. The house is well maintained and offers garage for motorcycles.
The attic room is just a necessity. Too small and too high with packages.
Nice, cozy place. Host was very kind. Terrace was pretty nice, too -you can smoke there.
While I was there, there was a problem with wifi connection. But I think that was a temporary problem?
Five minute walk from historic center, good bedroom and a large area to share with the other guests, including a varanda facing the sunset
The weekend we spent there owner’s family were present and they occupied both the varanda and the small kitchenette most of the time. The noise reached our bedroom
We highly recommend this accommodation, a small renovated building located strategically on the east end of the city above the Baščaršija ('main marketplace') with a stunning view from the terrace of the cityscape. Rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a common kitchen near the terrace for light meal preparation and three tables on the terrace for meeting and snacking. The husband and wife hosts are nearly always on hand for assistance and advice; they are friendly and most hospitable. Guests should realize that the guest house is up a hill (roughly 500 meters and the equivalent of about 6 stories of incline) and, while there is limited parking available for the skilled driver, the most reasonable way to access the property is on foot. There are several craft shops and hipster tea/coffee shops along the hill, as well as small but adequate grocery stores at the bottom and top of the hill. When you are ready to climb further, you can explore the Yellow and White Bastions (Žuta tabija, Bijela tabija). It is a short walk to the Trebević Funicular, the Sarajevo Brewery and restaurant, as well as many shops and street-food/restaurant options in the Baščaršija. If you are in reasonable condition, ready for the cultural adventure that is Sarajevo, this is the ideal location for you.
A stay at Guest House Ćiro places you in the heart of Sarajevo, within a 10-minute walk of National Library and Gazi Husrev-Beg Mosque. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
