Great little hotel excellent host
Lovely host who made us extremely welcome and had excellent knowledge of local area and couldn’t help enough
very good hotel.food /presentation good/host welcoming/ we will go again
Gill was excellent in every way, attentive, interesting and interested in you, breakfast was superb and location was very good.
It was just fine
Excellent location for town and beach, a pleasant walk to both. Parking not a problem....permit given on arrival and plenty of spaces to park around the property. Friendly, warm welcome, could not have asked for a better welcome, landlady superb. Breakfast lovely, good produce and nicely cooked.... nothing was too much trouble.
The furniture and décor is dated and the property is a little run down in places however (I am normally super picky) the bedding and towels were clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and for the price I really cant complain. The positives outweigh the negatives.
Just a mile from Scarborough Railway Station, this traditional Victorian building is now a charming guest house offering free Wi-Fi and comfortable en suite rooms with Freeview TV. In Scarborough’s South Bay area, only a short walk from the very heart of the town centre, the Grosvenor is family run. Your hosts, Alan and Gill, pride themselves on offering a warm welcome and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. There is a cosy TV lounge with books, magazines, toys, games and lots of useful local information. The well-appointed and attractively furnished en suite rooms all have tea/coffee making facilities and TVs with Freeview digital channels. Breakfast is a full traditional grill, with vegetarian options also available. The Grosvenor also has a holistic therapist on site, offering a range of relaxing treatments.
